There are 29 in the train station (if not more!) platforms, and the platform number can be announced 5 minutes before departure. Fortunately, Italians are not very punctual. You have to be an orienteering genius, because the station staff are hiding and you will have no one to ask. In my understanding, if the train departs at 12.30, it means that it left at 12.29. This is not the case here, the departure may be delayed, and you will still have time to run a kilometer or two to your platform, if you are light. 50/50
Convenient, clean, understandable. You can get to the platform through the terminal, but the announcement of the platform where your train will be served may be 10 minutes before departure. So get ready to go for a run) The whole of Italy is on the train schedule👍
It was in April 2023. In the Eternal City, something is changing - favorite shops have closed in Termini, apparently covid has influenced. The canteen was closed on a budget, but new stylish cafes appeared. Well, and still wonderful coffee and goodies at Rinaldini!
Rome Central railway Station . There are metro and bus stops nearby (you can get to anywhere in Rome). There are a lot of various shops, cafes and restaurants. There are a lot of people, but there is no sense of jostling. Everything is clear, trains for every taste, depart on schedule. The station is clean. There are a lot of migrants, but they do not interfere (the main thing is not to pay attention). The carriages are clean. Make sure to check your tickets before the trip.
A medium-sized train station with a large number of shops, pavilions, cafes. There are a lot of electronic and quite understandable scoreboards. A long-running grocery store on the 1st floor, convenient for late passengers. Trains run according to the schedule. I liked.
I liked everything, conveniently located, very spacious room with a large bed, autumn clean kitchen (you can cook at home), near the train station, convenient to get, bus from the airport to the train station
I liked the location of the station. Buses from the airport arrive at Termini station and the traveler finds himself right in the center of Rome, from where you can already get anywhere. It's easy to navigate.
a large transport interchange - high-speed trains, commuter trains and metro, a piece of the historical center, a large bazaar, a lot of illegal immigrants and everything related...
You can go anywhere from this station. The airport, outlets, other cities and are strange. There is a market with local food and a fairly large multi-brand outlet in the building of the station itself.
The train to Naples was 40 minutes late, and the track number and platform were not displayed on the scoreboard until the last minute. In general, it's not bad, good infrastructure, lots of cafes and pizzerias.
Very long delays , high -speed trains were delayed 3 times for a total of 3 hours ! We were standing with a child in the crowd ! It is impossible to ask
