When I travel to Spain, my route invariably goes through Madrid's Chamartin train station. Therefore, I am well acquainted with this important point of the transport infrastructure of the capital of Spain. Unfortunately, Chamartin is currently undergoing major repairs and is therefore not very convenient for passengers. Due to extensive renovation work, the station becomes overloaded at certain hours of the day in terms of passenger traffic. There are not enough signs for passengers to move around the station grounds (in search of the necessary platform), so it is better to check any information with the station staff so as not to get lost. They usually speak English. I have heard that repairs at Chamartin station will be completed this year. We are really waiting for you!
With a slight knowledge of Spanish and a little knowledge of English, it is not difficult to figure out the location. The staff is always ready to listen and help you!
