The station certainly helps out those who walk across the border, but... There are only 4 trains to Vilnius with a transfer in Kaunas, about 7-10-13-16 hours. The schedule may change, but you won't leave in the evening. There is nothing at the station itself, just a building and rows of seats inside. No cash register, no water to drink. But the most terrible thing is the bridge that must be crossed over the tracks with suitcases, and back and forth. There is no elevator. There is a toilet in front of the entrance to the bridge from the side of the church
From the train window, we admired the stunning Catholic church for an hour! Someday I will get off at the Kibartai station and will definitely enter it)
