The location is good. Of the minuses, the cockroaches are huge in the bathroom, just the biggest. Dirt (very poorly cleaned). The linen is old, with spools and unwashed stains. The hotel does not have a territory. The sign of the hotel is faded (the first time we arrived, we went for a walk in the evening and barely found it, because it is not lit and the sign is not visible), so be careful!!! And also, guys, don't take breakfast. They consist of 1-2 eggs, bread, an old piece of butter and a couple of small fruits + tea or coffee (it's easier to buy good scrambled eggs next to the hotel for the same money)

It's not good, but there's nothing particularly bad to say either. Just to spend the night in a decent place. It takes about 15 minutes to go to the beach, part of the way along the road in one direction or the other. There's a massage parlor on the opposite side, not much to the left, where a guy, apparently the owner's son, does a massage well. A guesthouse for the unassuming! Don't expect perfect conditions like in a 5* hotel! But, we didn't pay attention to such little things! 5-7 minutes to the beach! Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby! The bus stop is also close! The room was equipped with a conditioner and a fan, a four-poster bed, bed linen was changed on time without reminders, we did not go to breakfast, but they say they were not bad! A very attentive family, the owner of Nalaka - all minor problems were solved very quickly! The downloaded phrasebook solved the problems with the language, very convenient! We didn't go to a 5* hotel on purpose! It is authentic to listen to the singing of a Lankan squirrel, how monkeys jump on roofs at night, a gecko came to visit the room, a monitor lizard strolled in the neighboring yard, in the evening you can sit at a table near the room! However, we later discovered that there are rooms with a balcony, but the balcony faced the sunny side and we did not change the room! In principle, for those who need a budget vacation and want to plunge into the life of the Lankans a little, I would recommend this guest!))

Nice cozy hotel! Everything you need to eat. But I do not recommend anyone who plans to stay at the hotel. This is the hotel where you need to get some sleep and move on. Friendly staff. The hotel has a tuk-tuk and the hotel staff will take you at reasonable prices to the nearest places. Special thanks to Sandipo (the hotel employee) for the attentive service! A very friendly guy!

Two stars is a stretch. The breakfasts are terribly monotonous. Room cleaning on request. They forget to change the towels, then they won't bring the paper.
The brother of the hotel owner was happy to eat and spend the night at the hotel for our money during the tour.

A great guest house in the past, now it is very shabby.
Nothing really works, then the air conditioner will break, then the shower, then the toilet. Half of the lamps are not shining. Cleaning once a week.
I especially want to note the strong audibility between floors, so if you have a sensitive sleep, only the upper floor, or not this house at all.
