I am very disappointed, I leave the hotel in the middle of booking (the money was not returned, but to hell with it, I will still earn, and maybe I can still save my vacation).
Do not repeat my mistakes, do not be fooled by the persuasions of travel agencies and beautiful pictures.
Of the advantages, there is only a nice staff (who wants to help you, but it doesn't always work out), a large green area and a beautiful view from Baba Nest.
Minuses:
- there is no beach, not at all, there is a stub of the shore, which is called the beach club here, where there is a pile of algae, garbage and 5 lonely sunbeds; you will not be able to swim either, as indicated by the sign on the shore "swim at your own risk";
- instagram pools are just for Instagram, I took a picture and ran from there, they are small and not very clean;
- noisy, VERY noisy (now imagine what noisy means to me if my work is always screaming and bedlam, like in The Wolf on Wall Street) - some alternatively gifted manager decided that it was worth putting an iPod station and powerful speakers in the rooms, and saved on sound insulation, now you not only do you listen to the neighbors moaning on their honeymoon (happiness to them, health and long years of living together), but they also do it to the bass, which makes your bed bounce, including in the middle of the night (so that they fail, so they are rastak) 🙈 and, do not forget yet to mention that there is a construction site right on the territory, which is partially overlooked by the terraces of suites with ocean views, but the noise from it was the last thing that confused me, the tour agency and the hotel's website did not warn about the construction either 😋
- the food is expensive and tasteless, I've visited almost all the establishments and it's just tasteless, tasteless 🙁
- you can't sign up for a Thai massage, although the hotel, judging by the pool, restaurants and breakfasts, is half empty.
Those who want a vacation without children are all here) for the whole vacation, we saw only 2 couples with children. There is no fuss. A large area. The beach is separate on the territory of the hotel, no outsider comes, only those who live in the hotel and in the villas. There will be a maximum of 5 people with you on the beach. You can take a boat and see the fish. There are several restaurants on site. The breakfasts are good (the view at the breakfast is gorgeous, on the sea). There are a lot of advantages for those who do NOT like a lot of people and want to take a break from the hustle and bustle. I recommend it!
I didn't like it at first. There was A Pool Suite 8.
Checkout at 12, checkout at 15. I arrived an hour earlier, I was sent voluntarily-forcibly to one of their restaurants, which has pools with beer at 270 baht for 0.3 in a plastic cup (kamon, guys). I think it was an upsale. At exactly 15 they said that the room was ready, I don't believe it, I didn't notice any signs of "fresh" cleaning, taking into account the joints that were immediately found (below).
The room was nice. With a sunset view, a good audio system with iPod control (the olds remember), a killer feature - a private pool with hydromassage. For this, I forgave all the complaints and remembered with pleasure: sit down at sunset, open a coconut, pour rum into it. To contemplate. But get to the point.
Breakfasts: they try, but the impression is mixed. It can be seen that it is designed for the Chinese. Fried eggs with snot, you need to improve your cooking skills. Benedict is tiny. There were two eggs in Racha and the equipment was more interesting (hotels of the same price level). The juices are from the package, but there are fresh ones (controversial in the composition of the mix). In general, you will not go hungry.
When I went to the room, the door to the bathroom did not close. I called the staff, applied a workaround - broke the door closer and said it's ok. It reminded me a little of something. And in general, I do not understand this story with transparent bathrooms (at least you can close the curtain), but apparently this was the fashion of designers. One lamp in the pool did not work. There were small things of this kind, but in general they did not affect the assessment.
There are several light control templates in the room, a normal thing.
There are tuks on call: they often arrive late, but in general the working scheme. You can't run through the mountains on foot, and the hotel is on a hill, if anything.
Private beach - couldn't swim, wave, dead fish. But there are sun loungers, a swimming pool, a lifeguard (I caught dead fish and buried them in the bushes). There are no complaints, it's just bad luck. I saw some fish at the floating pier, probably they are baited, you can swim with a mask, in theory.
The price tags in restaurants are my respect, but apart from the forced upsale, I did not go there. Guys, you need to be more modest and people will reach out to you. The famous locations where everyone is photographed, I can't say that I was very impressed.
The communal pool is good, two-level. There were enough sun beds, there were no people, no questions.
The place is quite secluded, if you go to the embankment, you will find a small night market and good cafes, but that's it. Convenient location for visiting the Festival shopping center and the old town. I stayed for 3 nights - in general, it was enough.
I recommend. If you book a Pool Suite, then ask for a high floor.
