A cute little town half an hour away by bus from Novi Sad. We were on weekdays, in September 2024. There are practically no people. There is a good viewing platform for the city and the Danube. A rich history. There are wine shops where local wines are tasted. The Bishop's palace, the old churches, the famous sycamore tree.
A beautiful town: dozens of wineries without fancy design, but with fine wine and English-speaking staff. A beautiful observation deck, a pleasant center and leisurely people. Serbian dolce vita.
The station is clean and beautiful, but it's not a bad idea to open at least one cash register or screw the possibility of paying in cash into a vending machine. Otherwise, for example, you rush to Novi Sad and only on the spot you realize that you will not be able to buy a ticket, because you are a tourist from Russia.
Nice beautiful city.
It's better to go and look for the closest vinaria.

A beautiful small town on the Danube, since the age of 13 we went there to the Danube restaurant, now it is under repair, but there are also two good ones nearby. An observation deck with a view of the city, small vinariums, wine tributes that are held every year, are definitely worth a visit!!
