A wonderful hotel! We arrived before departure for a week for the sake of a water park for a child. And fell in love with the hotel) A huge territory, green, well-groomed. There is a huge swimming pool on the beach, a wonderful bar/restaurant, beautiful sunsets. Rooms for every taste and budget. We lived in a villa and a penthouse. Both have their own private swimming pool. Electric cars for the lazy with cheerful drivers will take you quickly anywhere (around the hotel). Of the cons: breakfast…This is very bad in my opinion. And yet: there are few restaurants and bars for such a huge hotel. In fact, only the main one with breakfast, a cafe in the water park and a restaurant on the beach. Therefore, I often had to have dinner outside the hotel. Well, maybe as a wish: for such a large and family-run hotel, it would be nice to add some activities and entertainment. But, despite this, we will definitely come back more than once!

Nice hotel, nice rooms, sooo friendly staff, don't speak Russian.
The territory is large, beautiful, well-groomed, tuk tuks go for quick movement, they will take you wherever you ask, you can call by phone.
The territory is adjacent to the beach with airplanes, Mai khao, near the beach there is a swimming pool with sun loungers, a bar. There are frequent carts with food and drinks at affordable prices within a minute's walk along the beach. There aren't a lot of deck chairs, but they don't lie on them all day, people change, you can start by taking one chaise longue, one went swimming, the other waited a little and pulled up the vacated chaise longue.
The food is delicious, not monotonous.
There is everything you need around the hotel, of course, not as much as on popular beaches like Kata and Karon. Massages, souvenirs, pharmacies, fruits, cafes, seven eleven.
Going somewhere to the southern part of the island to popular places is long, expensive, 1000-2000 Baht.
The rooms are very spacious, with a separate bedroom, and closing the door to it is almost guaranteed to isolate the sounds from the hallway and the neighboring room. Without any problems, on the second day, at the request, we changed the room from the first floor to a higher one.
There are some activities on the territory of the Hotel almost daily, but you probably won't stumble upon them by chance, you need to look at the schedule, they hang it in the elevators.

Everything is very beautiful, the area is fantastic, there are many cafes and shops nearby. The rooms were a bit old in the aqua park only once, mostly we spent time on the beach. The breakfasts are excellent. In the hotel, dirt on linen or towels is fined for the amount of dry cleaning.
Of the minuses, the planes are very noisy, as if you are resting at the airport, spoils the whole vacation. And it's a long drive to the center and tourist spots.

We stayed at the Splash Hotel from December 20 to December 31, 2024 and were generally satisfied with our stay.
I'll start with the advantages: the hotel's territory is really large and impressive. We enjoyed walking through the manicured areas with greenery and beautiful landscapes. This is a great place for those who like to spend time outdoors.
I can't say that the breakfasts were bad, but there was clearly not enough variety, and the quality also left much to be desired.
As for the massage at the hotel, I strongly recommend avoiding this service. The prices are too high, and the quality does not meet expectations. Fortunately, there is an excellent salon in the immediate vicinity, where you can get not only professional massages, but also guided tours at more reasonable prices than those offered by the guides.The photo of the salon that everyone is looking for is attached below, it can be found if you go out through the exit from the main restaurant to the intersection and turn left literally 200 meters. By the way, here is the best currency exchange rate.We were also pleasantly surprised by the cuisine in the elephant cafe — the dishes were delicious, although somewhat expensive. However, there are more affordable options nearby that are in no way inferior in quality. My 9-year-old child enjoyed the local cuisine with pleasure, which, of course, added positive emotions to our vacation.
Overall, the Splash Hotel has its pros and cons, but given the beautiful grounds and the opportunity to find alternative deals outside the hotel, our stay was enjoyable.

A good hotel for families with children! The water park is cool, for hotel guests for free, you put a deposit on the bracelet at the entrance to pay for food / drinks. The pool by the sea is super, only there are not enough sun beds, you need to have time to occupy until 8:30) The sea is fire!!! There are many cafes near the hotel, money was changed at the pharmacy, just opposite the exit from the hotel, the best course. To order a taxi / food delivery (delivered to the lobby), we used the Grab application, there is enough Internet, it works without a Thai SIM card. It's a bit boring in the evening, you have to go to Bangla Road, it takes an hour and a half from the hotel. Have a good rest!

A great hotel for families with children and adult couples. Quietly, calmly. There are no clubs or night traffic here. A huge, well-maintained territory. No one bothers anyone. There is no need to cross the busy highway to the beach, as in other hotels. There is a lot of space on it, and the lack of sun beds is only a plus. When you go to the beach, you will be given towels. We visited the vaunted Katya and Karon and began to appreciate Mai Kao more.
Planes can be clearly heard anywhere in the hotel, but after a few days we stopped paying attention to it. For that, there are a lot of photos and videos with airplanes on your arm, on your elbow, on your head and others. They were in March 2024. There are enough cafes in the area, on average, the dish is 150 baht. The choice for breakfast is huge, and remember: overeating is harmful!
Your own water park is a plus. The children bought up and went downhill for a year ahead. Be careful with sunbathing from the first day, use cream 50. Many burned out a couple of hours before the blisters.
The majority of Russian-speaking guests from all post-Soviet countries. But, contrary to expectations, there were no noisy gatherings near the pools and in the rooms, everyone behaved decently.
There are reviews here, like: this is not a five, but a three, only eggs for breakfast, dirt everywhere. First, let the authors figure out how the star rating of the hotel is determined. Sometimes the service is better in the 3rd than in the 5th. Probably, these are people who have a personal chef at home and he prepares 10 dishes for them for breakfast, the maid does all the work around the house, and the gardener, who is also a landscape designer, ideally maintains their garden. But, for some reason, they were greedy for money at the Hilton by choosing this hotel, and now they complain about the dust under the sofa. Keep it simple, people!
If there is a complaint, tell me, everything will be removed. They can also change the number, if it doesn't suit you at all.
The hotel staff, cafe staff and shops are no longer bad at speaking Russian.
The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are not quite modern, but clean and tidy, and you will not find more spacious offers for sane money. We had 120 square meters for four of us, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen. The linen is clean, the beds and pillows are comfortable. Air conditioning in every room. I can't hear the neighbors.
There are bike and car rentals nearby. The average price for a bike is 300. I bargained for 3 days for 200 (honda click). But, be careful and think carefully if you are going to leave Mai Khao on a bike, since you will need to go to Banglarode, and this is not an easy test, even for an experienced driver. It is advisable to have an international driver's license, if you do not have one, the police will issue a fine of 500 baht. And it's better not to argue. Fortunately, there are practically no such things in Mai Khao.
Taxis were called by indriver, it's much cheaper this way. They will take you to the south of the island for 550-650 baht, depending on the time of day, to the neighboring beaches for 150-200 baht. You can choose better cars.
There is a Seven Eleven. A little further down the main street, there is a bigger and cheaper store, locals buy there. Excursions are cheaper in chiptour.
In conclusion: - I like a relaxing holiday, because for me this is the hotel that I want to return to on my next vacation.

Very cool!We came to Thailand for the first time.
We had a family vacation in early November 2024.We came for 11 days.
Be sure to visit the islands!
The food is delicious and inexpensive, and fruits are generally for pennies (1 kg of mango is 100 rubles).

I liked the hotel very much. Huge territory, spacious rooms, friendly staff. Because of the child, I took breakfast-dinner meals, but to be honest, next time I will go without food at all. The room had a kitchen (microwave, kettle, dishes, everything is there), a shop nearby. There is an exchanger at the exit from the hotel, even rubles are changed (the exchange rate is good). There is an airport nearby, but at night you can't hear the planes at all.

We returned from this hotel on 21.11. We liked the hotel. Large territory, well maintained. You can drive electric cars around the territory, they take you where you need to (room, territory, water park). Breakfasts are not bad, standard, of the same type, only hot dishes change (you will not be hungry). The water park needs to be updated. Room cleaning is a three, but it's a Tie, it's like that everywhere. They won't put anything in, either towels or a bathrobe. This is a family-run hotel for a relaxing holiday without hanging out.
Nuances: We stayed at the hotel for a week, everything is OK, a week later we received a "letter of happiness". They have to pay 400 baht for some stains on the towel.
Upon check-out, the room was not checked, although we called twice and asked to take the room. They gave out a deposit of $ 200 and said check room. Check-out from the room takes place at 12.00, and we were supposed to be picked up at the airport only at 17.00. They were allowed to wait on the territory of the hotel (you can have a swimming pool, there is no water park). We deposited our passports in the lobby and went to the pool. Upon returning to the lobby to pick up our passports, we were shown that our hair dryer was missing from the room. After our outrage, they did not insist and apologized. Passports were issued.
Summary: Be prepared for such nuances. We are people of age, we are over 60+, we were with two grandchildren of 9 and 13 years old. We have been traveling abroad for a long time and often, but this is the first time we have encountered this.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days! It takes 20 minutes by taxi to get to the airport. The hotel is large, electric cars run on the territory, and if necessary, they will take you where you need to go! A very beautiful pool overlooking the sea, Mai Khao beach is a little dirty, but the sea is cool and the most interesting thing is that planes land almost overhead at Phuket airport! We were a family at this hotel January-February 2024. A good hotel by Thai standards. A large territory, its own water park, normal breakfasts, but each of the advantages has a minus)) there is an artificial pond on the territory, the fish-water blooms in it, the fish dies and therefore the stench is incredible in the pool area near the beach. The water park is not bad, but if Thai schoolchildren come, you can go to the sea right away))). The breakfasts are not bad, but monotonous, it gets boring in two weeks, there is almost no fruit, and watermelons must be asked from employees who do not know this - either they fight for rare watermelons with other vacationers, or they buy them on the street). There is not enough Thai soup, pasta with shrimp and other octopuses, fried ice cream and pancakes with mango, it's just not on the street, at 22-00 there is silence ... but in general, the hotel is suitable for a relaxing holiday with children, but do not forget that the airport and planes are constantly noisy nearby. At first it pleases, everyone takes pictures with planes landing, then you get used to it. In general, you can visit once.

The hotel is good, the rooms are washed and the bed linen is changed, new jars of shampoo, shower gel and something else (I do not remember) are put in the shower.
I was in the 7th building, so it was close to breakfast and the water park.
For parents who have children, there is a special place for them, in the 6th building on the 1st floor.
The water park has many slides for both children and adults.You cannot carry your own towels and water with you to the water park.There are all sorts of places with food on the territory of the water park, and the best thing for me is a bar inside the water, where you can order both for adults and children.
Small cars drive all over the hotel, taking you to a certain place
The place where dinner is located on the beach or rather near it, next to it there is a large swimming pool and a small one for children.
Sometimes there were jellyfish in the sea and I didn't want to swim because of this.
There are a lot of shops and restaurants near the hotel.
There is a 7-Eleven store not far from the hotel, so it's not far to go.
I advise everyone that it was super in 11 days.

The room cleaning is terrible, it's just boring to point a finger. And that's it, it's better to solve all problems immediately through the reception and you need to go there and then call a couple more times so that you can be heard))) The general atmosphere of shabbiness is everywhere. Only the main restaurant is new, there are also breakfasts, they are very average, 2 types of fruits for breakfast, coffee is so-so, a very monotonous breakfast, there was almost nothing new in 17 days, 1-2 dishes changed (soups mostly). There are cafes nearby, a family of 3 people can eat 700-1000 baht (to convert to rubles, you need to multiply by 2.7). It's expensive, my opinion, and they don't know how to cook, it's immediately clear from the restaurant in the hotel 😆 near 7/11, pharmacy, massages, cafes and silence from 22.00, in fact you are here in the village, on the outskirts. A profitable exchanger near the hotel is the exit where the water park is, not the first exchanger, but the second one, which belongs to the cafe. We stayed at this hotel for 2 years in a row. We used this hotel as a transit, once for 1 night after the flight, the second time for 2 nights before flying home. As a transit hotel, it is an excellent hotel. Its advantages are, first of all, proximity to the airport, modern and comfortable rooms, a large swimming pool by the sea and a restaurant where you can have lunch or just have a snack. Within walking distance, 3-5 minutes, there are cafes where you can have a delicious lunch and dinner, a 7/11 store, a pharmacy, a massage parlor, as well as buy fruits and pancakes with different fillings in the evening.The territory of the hotel is large, there are many buildings, electric cars run around the hotel. We did not like the breakfasts very much, the choice is not very large and the coffee is not at all delicious.
As an additional bonus, a visit to the water park is included in the price, and the presence of an airport nearby allows you to watch planes take off and land. And in the evening, a beautiful sunset on the beach!

It is very convenient, as it is quite large. They will take you to the beach, for breakfast, to the water park. The water park can be entered once a day for free for a resident of the hotel. It is necessary to name the room number. When checking in, they give me a coupon with a non-alcoholic drink (the most common, without a choice), you can drink on the beach at the bar. Two pools with a depth of 1.3 m. Open from 7 am to 7 pm. Then it is allegedly hoored. But I saw that people were swimming there and then. Breakfast is normal. There is rice, vegetables, eggs, sweets, salads. Flake. Coffee, juices, tea. Bakery products. The food did not change much in 12 days, but it was possible to eat normally. Free Wi-Fi. Great hotel! A large, quiet area, but everything is very well located (water park, breakfast room, swimming pool ), so that you can walk from any building to the designated place in one or two minutes. The beach is just around the corner, a leisurely 5-minute walk, if you are too lazy, they will take you away. The staff is very friendly. Room cleaning daily, for any defect in the room, when contacting the reception, specialists appear within 5-10 minutes and eliminate everything! The breakfasts are varied, for every taste! It depends on the season, before November 1, the planes took off louder, towards the sea, the breakfasts were more modest, and after the sea the planes began to land, and take off towards the main part of the island and the breakfasts began to include more chicken, fruits.
The water park is kind of free for guests, but. You can't rent a locker for 150 baht, you can't have your own towels, you can't even have your own food or water, you need to put 500 baht on deposit, then the leftovers are returned. Even a hair dryer in the locker room for a fee ..
It is quite possible to leave things on the sunbed, valuables, if you do not take them. If you drink 90 baht smoothies in a cafe, there are a lot of different food.
It's a very large area, which is nice, we like to walk. Ponds with and without fish, probably the result of sewage, but it doesn't matter.
The pools are more or less clean.
The rooms are spacious, clean, there was enough water, everything is green, the territory is well maintained.
The breakfasts are quite good, but there have been better ones.
We always walked along the beach to the left in the evening, there is a tuk tuk parking lot, and makashnits, everything is clean, safe: smoothies 50 baht, delicious shrimp 100 baht, ice cream 30 baht, beautiful sunsets, swings, hammocks, table.
Then we lived in a tame hotel, missed the large territory, but enjoyed the silence in the evening and in the morning.

The price for the room was around 10 thousand rubles, but I think it's justified here!!! Sometimes I look and it pops up at 6000 well, then it's just a bomb!! The magnificent beach is spacious and without crowds of people like on Katya and Julia Karon. The hotel has 3 swimming pools: 1 by the pond, 2 by the sea and 3 by the sea for children. Towels are provided free of charge near the pool on the way to the beach from 10-00 to 19-00. Upon arrival, they take a deposit in baht or leave your passport as a deposit. Our room was very nice and comfortable. The room has a veranda/balcony, there is a clothes dryer on it. There is a kettle, glasses, tea, sugar, coffee and dry cream, shower gel, shampoo, dental and cosmetic kit. They put a bottle of water per person every day. Cleaning is quite chaotic, but daily. There are often not enough towels after cleaning. But if you call the reception, they will bring everything. The staff is polite and friendly. Breakfast is from 6-30 to 10-30. The later you come to it, the bigger the crowd and less comfort. The European breakfast is more: omelette, fried eggs, croissants, pancakes, Belgian waffles, tea, coffee, local sausages, rice, vegetables, fruits (watermelon, pineapple, papaya), there is soup (you can put the ingredients yourself and they will pour you broth). There are several local dishes and drinks. I didn't have enough variety of fruits, I expected more. But everything is delicious. The beach is public, but the people are almost all from the hotel. The beach strip is very long, there is enough space for everyone. The entry into the sea is good, but it is quite close and the depth begins abruptly. There are no sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach, but in this heat we did not need it. There is a copse between the hotel and the beach, there is shade, the swing is stretched. There are many shops with coconuts, corn, smoothies, ice cream, snacks near the beach. Planes often fly over the beach, it's interesting to watch them. The noise of the planes did not bother us at all, day or night. The hotel has a lot of families with children, a lot of Russian-speaking tourists. There is no animation. The hotel itself has a restaurant near the beach where you can have dinner and a bar with delicious smoothies. We went to eat outside the hotel for lunch/dinner. There are several good cafes that we liked the most (Siam dragon restaurant and Elephant house). There are 3 exits from the hotel: near the lobby, near the water park and across the beach (various street shops do not work until late). Near the hotel there are pharmacies, fruit shops, supermarket 7/11 and Lotus, ATM, massage parlors, sale of excursions, exchangers. There is a mini market in the hotel itself, but it is more expensive there than in 7/11. The room has a hairdryer, TV, safe. There are elevators in the buildings. There is a children's room in the hotel, socks are needed there. There is a spa and massage. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. We were satisfied with the hotel. I especially liked the area with greenery and reservoirs.

Personally, the hotel came to me. Airplanes do not interfere in any way, but on the contrary entertain both adults and children. The beach is great, there are not many people. I recommend. There were even fewer people talking on New Year's Eve at other times. Of the cons, it's a long way from the hangout to Patong, about an hour by taxi and 800 baht.
I add a review I came to this hotel again on March 28, 24. The impressions of the room are the exact opposite of the first ones. The room category in building number 9 is three stars with all the consequences. Cleaning for 2 (stupidly did not change the bed linen) the shower barely drips, towels for one person, no bathrobes, no slippers. The request to change the room did not lead to anything. As a result, when buying a five-star hotel, be ready to go to a three-star room with a big stretch. I don't know who to address the claims to yet. We stayed at this hotel from October 20-26, 2024.The hotel does not correspond to 5* at all. It used to be better
But even now it's generally fine. We stayed at this hotel several times, but we probably won't be back anymore. It's getting worse in front of my eyes.
Minuses:
- Aging room stock. We used to stay in rooms, took two-room family suites, everything was without complaints, this time we moved into a penthouse, the area is certainly large, there is a staircase, its own outdoor pool, but everything needs updating, repair. Skirting boards are coming off somewhere, locks are jammed. In the bathroom, it is especially noticeable - lime plaque everywhere, black mold is visible somewhere.
The water park is the same, everything needs restoration.
Of the advantages:
- the beach is still good, it is on the same beach line where the "same" beach with airplanes is.
And what will happen to him, he is a municipal, he is cleaned and cleaned by the municipality. It is convenient that there is a playground very close by where makashnits come, also here is the final stop of tuk-tuks, everyone goes to take pictures with airplanes;
- Convenient location - close to the airport, also near the "village" - shops, massage, pharmacies;
- The hotel has a large beautiful area with swimming pools, a cafe next to the beach.
- There is an outdoor large swimming pool with sea views;
- Good breakfasts, but the eternal crowd in the dining room, no matter what time you come.
In short, it is no longer 5 stars away (as when we were in it for the first time). Now it goes everywhere as 3 stars, and it fully meets this.

The curtains are thick in the rooms, the mattresses and pillows are good and comfortable, the audibility is average. A nice beach area with coniferous trees, there is a swimming pool (among the disadvantages, towels are given out late from 10 am) On my own behalf, I want to thank the hotel staff. We had a family of three vacation in the first half of July 2023 and were very satisfied!
The accommodation was in two combined rooms with a kitchenette on the fourth floor of the 6th building (for us it turned out to be ideally close to the cafe where breakfast is held, and to the water park, and to the beach 5-7 minutes at a slow pace, and access to the street, where cafes, shops and massage parlors are located. We mostly moved on our own, but you can always order an electric car from the room.
In our opinion, the breakfasts were great! Fruits, vegetables,cereals, a variety of drinks, perfect frosting, the cook makes an excellent omelet,bread and pastries are varied, those who like a more hearty breakfast can eat different soups and rice and pasta. Food for both European and Asian tastes). It was important for me to feed the child well and to have an alternative to a beach holiday, this hotel met expectations 100%. And the planes taking off nearby were not a problem for our family, we slept great!
