I would like to single out bartender Polina separately from the staff. A person who can masterfully recommend something or even better do it. In addition, the most tactful person (the contingent among visitors is different, copes masterfully). A bonus for a person!

The Matches Bar is a great place for a pleasant evening with friends or colleagues. The waiters are always friendly and prompt. The cuisine deserves praise, especially the delicious hot dogs. I would like to thank Alexander the bartender separately for the good interaction at the bar.
Overall, a pleasant range of price/quality. Pleasant tinctures and this creates its own style and its own space in the establishment.
If you try cocktails, you can find your own and understand what you like and what you don't like. I really love Daiquiris, but unfortunately the taste of Belarusian rum is completely different from other classics. But there are more decent cocktails based on alcohol from this country.
I want to mention one caveat!!! I will ask the management to focus on this - it can raise the level of the institution and the attitude towards it. Today I came across a situation where a guy showed attention to girls (it seems like this is a natural manifestation in a bar) and everything seemed to be fine, but the girls were clearly uncomfortable with this. Unfortunately, not everyone knows how to emphasize this. Please add some kind of outside help function for the girls in such situations, as I want everyone's evening to be warm and cozy)

There used to be a really good place with good prices and an interesting concept, it beckoned with some kind of coziness and friendliness. Now, unfortunately, the level of employees is below average, the atmosphere is not the same at all, the quality of service has dropped significantly. I don't know who is recruiting and working with the staff, but this person has lost his grip. I don't know if we'll be going back to our early favorite place.

The Matches bar used to be one of my favorites in Minsk, the first time we were there 3 years ago on Nemiga, we really liked everything, the tinctures were great. Then a year ago, they noticed that they were diluted, and the taste changed, as if you were drinking sweet water. We stopped walking on Nemiga, then we went to Chelyuskintsev Park, which was also a disappointment. We were here a month ago, the taste was the same as before, we were not diluted. We decided to celebrate the New Year on December 27. And disappointment, the tinctures are diluted, they taste like sweet water. Complete disappointment. Now we don't plan to visit this bar anymore. And we don't recommend it to others.

We were at the institution on June 19th. In terms of food and prices, everything is at the highest level. It's very tasty and the atmosphere is cool.
I took off one star, they ordered drinks, they brought cold cider to the young man, and warm beer to me :(
Well, I think okay, sometimes I gave a half-full glass back. We have already ordered 2 ciders again and everything happened again, it was my warm one, And the guy's is ideally cool for such weather.
Well, I understand everything, there are a lot of people even on weekdays, you can't keep track of everything, otherwise everything is fine!

We visited this place for the first time a year ago and we were delighted with the food and the place itself. This year we visited again, but there were no impressions. Yes, delicious tinctures for cool promotions (on Sunday 5+ 5). The food is not so tasty anymore. And the whole institution as a whole is designed for students, with whom this bar was packed. The music is screaming, the interlocutor is not heard, the staff walks around with dissatisfied faces. The toilet is cold, there is no heating at all, some kind of detox... In general, if you just want to have a good time with friends and chat, go somewhere else

We have been walking since the opening, everything was fine before, but not now. Tinctures are diluted so that you just drink smoothies or compotes. It turns out that as the price increases, the alcohol level in the tincture decreases. Cocktails also have a minimum of alcohol and a lot of ice. Customer focus is at zero. When you place an order, there are many positions missing, and when you choose something else, the waiter clicks that she is being delayed. Guys, you have a Friday, a lot of people, make a little more tinctures in stock, you still don't add the alcoholic component. There are also a lot of questions about food with grammars on the menu and at the exit. It turns out that there is no longer any interest in coming here with such an attitude. Thank you.

This is my first review of this bar (on Oktyabrskaya Street) in all 3.5 years of visiting (since opening). Yesterday we came as a company to try a novelty. They upset us right off the bat and said that there was no Oxalic tincture (for a week or two!). We had 5 seats abandoned, but in the end we gathered six people. They took an empty chair, and after a couple of minutes they told us to release it and return it. Customer focus is 0! I understand that we booked incorrectly, but it was possible to get into the situation and find this chair for us, so now a person should not drink and eat standing up? Tinctures have turned into milkshakes in 3.5 years, not in one eye. The summer terrace has increased by 2 times and has become very noisy. A curling iron opened nearby, which is why there is a mix of different music on the speakers of the two establishments. The atmosphere at the flight is disgusting. In general, I was here for the last time!

The impression of this institution is ruined once and for all. My first trip to Spichki took place more than 3 years ago and it was a place on Nemiga, then this, and then on Chelyuskintsev. But over the past year, all three places have been on the stop list. At first, on nemiga, they clearly felt that the tinctures were diluted. You don't feel any alcohol at all. Then to Chelyuskintsev. We had 30 shots between us and left the bar as if we were sober. It feels like we were drinking water.
And a couple of days ago we went to these matches and here is the same situation. First we ordered a popcorn shot. He seemed normal to us, but everyone else is just a nightmare. Some are dairy, some are just fruit. After ordering the same popcorn again, we made sure that the taste was the same as the others.
"Matches" was the best bar to go to, but I can't say that anymore. Money was wasted, the mood was ruined. We won't go to these bars anymore.

I honestly don't understand why such establishments have such a high rating?
At first, we were in another place where they served better burgers in the city (it turns out you can't call it, Yandex blocks) - a failure! (I already wrote a review on them)
We ran into the Matches to have a "delicious" drink, relax. The summer playground is terrible in terms of design, the beer is like from an exclusive, as if diluted, a tasteless cocktail and there is no wifi!
There was a 20% discount from + on this day, but it is not worth wasting your time on this institution!
I repeat the question, I really don't understand why these places have such a high rating?

We went to an advertised institution, but we just wasted our time! We ordered a burger with beef and cheddar. The waiter said it would take 45-50 minutes to wait, but that the burgers were worth it. OK, we're waiting. Two creations were brought: cold rolls without any hint of roasting, a shapeless, thin, slightly warm cutlet, some pale yellow spot disappears on it (probably cheddar). It felt like the food had just been lying somewhere since yesterday, then they decided to "refresh" it with a lettuce leaf and bring it to us. I really regret that I didn't think to take a picture.
The plus was that without any problems we took these dishes back and did not have to pay for them. It is very strange that with such an overall high rating, we are so "unlucky" (
I hope this really was an exception to the rule.

The waiter refused to serve me and my friend because he forgot his documents at home. For what reason was I refused service if I presented a document that confirms my age. That is, a father will come home from work with his son (for example, 15 years old) and his father will not be given 2 glasses of beer at his request?

The place has gone bad. The quality of service leaves much to be desired. On the day of the 1+1 promotion, when the hall was fully boarded, there was one waitress on shift. We waited 20 minutes until they came to take the order, then waited another 40 minutes for the order itself (drinks, not hot dishes). They forgot about part of the order and reported it only after the question "where?". Fruit tinctures are diluted with water, milk tinctures are poorly mixed and with lumps.
