An incomparable museum! About 80 percent of the exposition is icons. Vintage, interesting writing. Natalia is an amazing tour guide. He loves his job so much, he just lives it. A rare person and a professional. I was very lucky that it was with her that I went to the museum! Thank you very much!!
The museum is not big, but the exhibits are simply amazing! Icons, dishes, furniture, paintings 17,18,19 century... It's all so impressive! If you are in Brest, be sure to visit, you will not regret it.
The last time I visited this museum was more than 15 years ago. And an exhibition of small jewelry was presented - snuffboxes, watches, brooches. Now the first floor is mostly icons, and the entire second floor is paintings, several pieces of furniture and decor. It wasn't as diverse as last time. But in general, this is one of the most interesting museums. But thanks to the girl guide, we learned a lot of new and interesting things. In general, I recommend it. Thanks!
A wonderful museum. Natalia, the tour guide, is generally a super professional. She told me interesting stories, even the children listened without stopping. The collection in the museum is large
It soothes with silence...You can wander alone... There are no competitors to view the exhibition.
Excellent as an inoculation for children against the word "Museum"
A must-visit place! Interestingly, I especially recommend the mummy of Dracula of Brest, the sarcophagus of Pharaoh, and the Chicatila travel kit is breathtaking.
An interesting museum. It's hard to imagine that it was in someone's private collection. It is better to choose an excursion, so you will learn interesting stories about who and how tried to take out all these valuables.
Be sure to book a guided tour. We went without a tour, we didn't understand much. We just looked at the exhibits, it would be more interesting with a guide
The museum is not big but interesting. 2 floors, 8 rooms. On the ground floor there is a confiscation - mostly icons, on the second floor there are paintings.
I found an exhibition of Russian Impressionists there quite by accident. And, as it turned out, there are musical evenings! It's a pity that I couldn't get in. An amazing and magical place!
The museum is interesting. There is a minus . There is not enough audio guide and a story about how these valuables were tried to be taken out . Because there are just huge exhibits there .
A good and interesting museum, but more was expected.
The exposition is interesting, but the exhibition of icons is strange - there is no description and why and for what it was. The staff is nice and friendly.
The ticket price is low, but the surcharge for the photo was inappropriate, no one explained why you need to pay for it.
There is a toilet :)
Of course, thanks to our border guards more for stopping the export of valuables, the only question is why these valuables, especially church ones, were not returned to their owners?
I would like to write a detailed review about an amazing museum that I visited recently and constantly visit from time to time. This is a museum of Salvaged art treasures, located on Lenin Street in the city of Brest.
From the very beginning, the impression was amazing. On the ground floor there are ancient colorful icons. There are so many icons, different in shape, color and theme. I began to get to know some of them better and felt the full depth of their beauty and art.
One of the most pleasant features of this museum, like any other, is that people with disabilities can visit it for free.
In general, the museum of Salvaged Art Treasures left a positive impression on me. I also appreciated the excellent selection of exhibits that made the visit unforgettable. I will definitely return there in the future and invite everyone to visit this one of the most unique museums in our city.
On the second floor of the museum there is an exhibition "Poetry of the Japanese kimono", which I also liked. The exhibition presents items from the collection of Anastasia Kovaleva (Mogilev). The exhibition will be held until August 20.
A wonderful museum, I have been there more than once, it is informative and interesting. I recommend you to visit

The museum is for once, on the ground floor of the icon, it's beautiful, but boring. The second floor is already more interesting, but museum classes are held on the second floor, which deprives the visitor of viewing one hall, there is simply no way to get there, you pass by.
Visited with my granddaughter...I really liked it...the granddaughter is 12 years old, she was impressed by the ICONS.....that such beauty happens....be sure to dedicate the younger generations to the story.......
The most gorgeous museum where you can look at various cool things

An amazing collection of works of art that were saved from being exported abroad at the border in Brest. I would like more stories of the objects themselves. There was also an exhibition of Russian Impressionists in this museum
There are few exhibits, most of them are icons, interesting, but there is not even a description. It's a bit expensive for such a museum, photos can only be taken with an additional fee. At least they left a ticket as a keepsake, but they don't have that either. I do not advise you to go here, it is better to spend time walking around Brest yourself
The museum contains works of art that were tried to be taken out. The exposition itself impresses not only with its large number, but also with its beauty. If you are on a guided tour in Brest, be sure to visit
We visited the museum in August, took an excursion, the guide Irina Nikolaevna conducted an informative, interesting tour! The museum contains exhibits that at various times tried to take out of the country, from the USSR even. I recommend visiting and definitely with an excursion, it will be fascinating.
There are not enough exhibits, almost all of them are icons, which have a rather weak historical value. There is practically nothing really interesting. You can only take photos for an additional fee.
There is a good exposition, a lot of icons, and of varying degrees of preservation, if they were restored, they would not have a price, because some do not even have a visible face. Furniture, paintings. I would also like to purchase a book about the museum's collection, as in the Brest fortress. But alas. I repeat, the collection is wonderful, you will not spend time with it.
The exposition is based on icons that were tried to be taken out of the country in various ways. Among the works there are paintings by Aivazovsky, Myasoedov, Clover, as well as many different exhibits.
This is a wonderful museum, here you will see a lot of rare things, even relics that were illegally moved across the border. The guides are competent and know their job very well, they tell a very fascinating story!
