We stayed at the hotel for 3 years in a row, in November 2016, 2017, 2019. Polite staff, daily room cleaning, clean area. The hotel has a great location between two unique beaches, Karon and Kata. The beaches are within walking distance. There are a lot of shops, bars and cafes along the street.
Very convenient location between 2 beaches (Kata and Karon), many cafes and shops nearby. The 2 buildings of the hotel are located on a fairly steep hill, these buildings themselves have no elevator, they have 4 floors - if you have heart problems, you should ask in advance to the lower buildings. The rooms are clean. they are bright, and the view from the balconies of the upper floors is pleasant. There is always water in the bathroom. The TV shows a lot of programs, only the first channel is in Russian. The breakfasts are monotonous (scrambled eggs, sausage, salad, tea, bread). Wi-Fi is only available at the reception and in the dining room. In general, I liked the hotel, if possible, I will choose it again :)
It was our first time in Thailand and we know for sure that we will return to Phuket) I really liked it!
By the beaches: the hotel is located between two cool beaches - Kata and Karon. We went to Karon - the water is cleaner, the entrance to the sea is convenient, the sand is crisp. There is a stinky river next to the Rink, we only went there to look (the view is of course cool - on an island surrounded by the sea). Karon is literally 7 minutes away from the hotel, and Kata is 15 minutes away.
The hotel: The rooms are large, there is a refrigerator, air conditioning, glasses, a kettle (you need to ask at the reception), some people took a hairdryer and scales at the reception (to weigh suitcases before departure). We had a great view from the balcony - the sea and the Big Buddha) - building D. There are a lot of cupboards in the room. Towels and linen are changed 1 time in 4 days, toilet paper is also brought every 4 days. There are no beach towels. We put 2 small pieces of soap in the beginning, there was no shampoo, but we knew and took everything with us. The breakfasts are the same - fried or boiled eggs with sausages, tomatoes, cucumbers, noodles or rice, 2 toasts per person, coffee or tea, watermelon (4 pieces per person). It is quite possible to eat enough. Cafes in the area, and shops open from 10 o'clock, so it's convenient when breakfast is included. There is a photo of breakfast. Wi-Fi is available at the reception and in the cafe (where breakfast is served, above the reception). The person is responsive - they will give you scissors and thread with a needle! There is no animation for children and adults in the hotel, so those who are used to being entertained at every turn, the hotel is not for you. And those who are used to entertaining themselves and children, and are not looking for disadvantages in everything - the hotel will suit you. And remember, this is not Turkey, where everything is included! But there is something to see, the sea is warmer than in Turkey and there are super beaches nearby!!!
Shops: there is 7eleven not far from the hotel, family mart is further away - prices are lower than in the rest, on the way to the sea. There is a large store about 20 minutes away - Makro food Service - resembles our Auchan - the price tag is lower, some products are only in bundles, packages. There are even fruits, longan and pitaya bat are 30 cheaper than in the markets, they took it, the taste is exactly the same.
Fruits were more often taken in a tent at the hotel - the prices for them are about the same everywhere.
Cafe: we often had dinner at the Kwong Shop Seafood Restaurant, located 10 minutes from the hotel, friendly staff, delicious food (the serving is always very spectacular), fruits and salad are always a compliment to all visitors, the portions are large. They brought beer with them, they never said a word. You can find quite European dishes - meat, chicken, shrimp, fish, Thai local cuisine (their local dishes are 70-90 baht). For two, dinner was 400-500 baht (meat and fish were taken). Thai dishes will be twice as cheap.
We went to Chekhov - Tom Yam there, of course, it's super!!! There is much more seafood than in the Kwong Shop Seafood Restaurant, but the price tag is 150 baht for the soup (it is certainly worth it). There are 239 set lunches and 289 baht dinners (salad to choose from, hot or soup, dessert and fruit). There is enough soup for two people.
