It is an incredibly beautiful place, but it is very important if you gather on your own - the entrance to the territory is paid only in lira (in January 2025, we gave ~ 6000 for 5 adults and 2 children). It is very difficult to exchange on the spot, they say that there are overbiddings, but there were none when we arrived. They send us to the shops at the checkout, but in all the shops we were refused even with offers to buy goods from them. Thanks to the caring citizens who agreed to help us. Parking of the car is also in lira - we paid 200 for the entrance.
Cleopatra's pool is paid for in dollars, and an electric car (and it's better to take it, since the complex is huge) can also be paid for in dollars.

A great place to visit. you can also enlighten yourself by visiting museums and relaxing, taking a dip in the pool, the entrance price is of course high, but it's worth it if you love historical sites, history and excavations.

The panorama is amazing, a little imagination and you see a bright marble city. Good preservation, careful restoration. A UNESCO site.
