I really liked Abkhazia, and this boarding house is a great place to stay. the beach is gorgeous, huge, there are enough sun beds and places for everyone, the sea is clean, the food is delicious and there is a lot of it, wine tasting on Sundays. a huge territory with picturesque nature, a lot of palm trees, flowers, there is a place to walk. Wi-Fi works almost everywhere on the territory of the boarding house. The staff is very kind. there are shops, two bars, a kebab shop for an additional fee. there are tables for table tennis, a volleyball court, two swimming pools, a Jacuzzi, in general, there will be no time to get bored. there are also buses to the nearest cities, markets, and many interesting excursions. vacation in Abkhazia is super!

We have been vacationing since September 15th.. A nice well-maintained boarding house. Delicious home cooking. Seasonal fruits, cottage cheese, pastries, vegetables, herbs. Even wine on weekends.. We lived in building 3, a wooden building, the room is large and comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked well. The beach is pebbly, corals are needed.. In the morning, the sea was calmer and warmer.. There is also a swimming pool. There is an animator for children, as well as a teacher for women..Coffee shops where you can drink coffee. Spa services, in a storm it is very good to lie in a bubble bath.. Excursions to interesting places.. I really liked the 10th century temple in Pitsunda..The staff is very friendly. I had a rest at the end of October- beginning of November 2024, the very end of the season, after 2 days closing for the winter. A picturesque place with a wide beach, diverse vegetation.a very quiet, peaceful place, there is a place to walk, sit in silence. The rooms are in the main building (we saw Brezhnev himself), everything is very old and requires repair and replacement. Cleanliness is maintained as much as possible. The views from the balcony are amazing, the air is clean. We rested in this boarding house for the first time.If you don't dwell on the shortcomings, the rest was great. The nature is wonderful, the sea is clean, especially in the morning. A wonderful vacation turned out in this boarding house. This is the first time my family and I have been here. The nature is wonderful. The rooms are perfectly clean, daily cleaning. The dining room has a variety of food for every taste. Massage , baths. The children are busy with the animator (classes, discos) every evening. The beach is clean. The sea is warm in October. The boarding house and staff were impressed by the hospitality. The buildings are next to the sea, the territory is green with its own garden and plantings, beautiful and large, squirrels run in the morning, the sea is clear, dolphins have been seen, a river flows nearby. Good afternoon, we are now in this wonderful place. What I want to say is that our vacation is wonderful, the territory, the services, the food, the sea, the sea is super clean, there are enough sunbeds for everyone, no one is fussing.
The restaurant, the buffet is delicious, the service is wonderful, I bow low to the chefs, pastry chefs, waiters and health to your hands, and how can I not mention Maya Karlovna you are a fire!!!
The territory is magnificent well-groomed, palm trees, lianders, pines, lianas with kiwi, tangerine trees it's all fascinating.
There are two pools, one for children, it is warmer and larger, less warm as it should be, and a Jacuzzi with very warm water. Naturally, there are kids, where to go without them, but believe me, it's at intervals and they don't swim for long. We came and swam alone in a gorgeous way. For kids, animation is constant.
A wonderful holiday home we were in the 3rd building cleaning is constantly a young girl.

We had a rest in October in this boarding house in the 1st building. A wonderful team and staff in the building itself, in the dining room. The food is delicious and not monotonous, like in kindergarten. The rooms are good, but there is something to work on there. Additional services such as massage, sauna, barrels, etc. are also provided. There are beautiful plants on the territory, a playground for children, a swimming pool, a Jacuzzi and discos in the evening. It's just a pity there is no ATM nearby and few shops.

Nice hotel. We had a rest in September-October 2024. A huge territory, well-groomed. There are tall pines, eucalyptus trees, palm trees, and a citrus orchard on the territory. The air is intoxicating!!! There is not enough lighting at night: there are few lanterns and they are very dim; some alleys are not lit at all. Therefore, walking in the evening is not very pleasant. The rooms are large (we lived in the third building), clean and well-maintained. For 8 nights, the pastel linen was changed once, the garbage was taken away almost every day, soap and toilet paper were reported. Upon check-in, no water bottles were found in the room. Therefore, if you check in in the morning or evening, when the shops are still or no longer working, stock up on water! (The administrator advised drinking from the tap, mountain water is flowing.) Three meals a day, Swedish line. But if you are after Turkey, then do not rely on the variety and abundance of dishes. You won't stay hungry, that's basically all. On weekends, they even pour Abkhazian wine. Unfortunately, there are no fruits at all. There were apples and plums once in 9 days. The only thing there is a lot in the dining room is the administrator Maya Karlovna! It literally fills the entire space. She constantly announces something, tells something, scolds someone for pouring water into a bottle with her, from a carafe. And securing the table for new arrivals is a real show, and also setting shifts for who to come to lunch when. She is very tiring! But otherwise, everything is very good. The sea is nearby, the beach is clean, large, fenced. There are a lot of sun loungers, canopies, umbrellas. The sea in this place has a cold current, a mountain river flows next to it, and it gives cold streams. Because of this, it is not very comfortable to swim. In addition to the new wooden building, there are two more large buildings on the territory (a legacy of Soviet times) and numerous houses right on the seashore and along the pine alley. In the evenings, there are entertainment venues for kids and a type of disco for adults. In general, the rest is very quiet, sincere and calm, for those who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

A very good boarding house! We lived in a house next to the pines - birds, squirrels! The air is healing! The food is great, buffet, homemade cottage cheese and sour cream, natural honey, pastries! It is very tasty, but at the same time it is quite a diet meal! There are free sun beds at the sea! I recommend it to all my friends and acquaintances!

Absolute delight! A gorgeous place, comfortable rooms. We live in building #3. The body is made of a log cabin. (Wooden). Large spacious rooms with everything you need. right down to the washing machine and ironing board. Air conditioners are everywhere. Comfort and coolness. Regular replacement of towels and bed linen . Friendly and welcoming staff. The kitchen is great. A buffet with everything you need. High-quality meat, chicken, fish, vegetables, soups are always on the table. Compotes of local fruits, tangerine juice. Everything is fresh and high-quality. Homemade cottage cheese, sour cream and kefir will die! On Sundays there is a wine day in the dining room. The beach is within walking distance. There are always sun beds. The beach is not crowded. In general, the emotions received from relaxing in the Pine Grove exceeded all expectations! I recommend it 100%!

This summer we had a rest in a Pine grove. In general, the rest is a solid four. The buffet was good(however, it was noticed that cooked food for lunch was smoothly transferred to dinner as a plus to a fresh dish). At first, I liked the table, but by the end of the rest I was already tired, because a weak variety of dishes and mashed potatoes, so beloved by children, had never been cooked, which is strange. I think you can eat better and more varied for less money if you choose meals in canteens (but this does not apply to Abkhazia-it is dangerous!). The beach is private, clean with sun beds, this is a plus. We cleaned the room every day, changed the linen periodically. Towels and soap with shampoo are provided. There is no air conditioning (please note!). Cleaning for a fiver. The furniture in the room is worn out, and the parquet is from the Soviet era. The territory is rather large, well-groomed, many places to relax, pleasant coniferous aromas. But keep in mind that there is nowhere to go when leaving the territory. There is no promenade, no entertainment. The most important disadvantages: there is not a single holder for shampoo / soap in the shower, I had to climb through the curtain behind them every time; in building 2 there are no kettles in the rooms according to those.safety. There is only a kettle at the reception downstairs on the ground floor and you need to take your own water (insanity). 21st century, they charge a lot of money for a ticket and cannot buy an elementary cooler with hot water on the floor. Well, the administration will see clearly, so "go broke"!!! And a fat fat minus there is no Internet in the rooms (God, the prehistoric age). There are only on the floor in the hall and downstairs. And this is at the cost of a voucher of 15 thousand rubles per day (for three people). Guys, I'm sorry, of course, but you are lagging behind in these matters. Pricing does not match the services provided.You can visit once and that's it.

Since 2014, we have been vacationing at the boarding house, every year. In 2024, the cook changed and even the best (except the sea) that was spoiled here. It has always tasted better than at home, and now the moment of gross disappointment has come.
We always rent houses by the sea -we haven't been updated at all.
This year there was also a house in tangerine salad. Two-room houses (walk-through rooms) are only available in the living room. It's hot in the bedroom. And the cleaning is so-so. There were teenagers (12-18 years old)-the bed was not made even in the field ( do not make extra )
The best people in the boarding house are Maya Karlovna, who raises the status of the whole of Abkhazia with all her heart, and Oksana, the kindest woman, the fairy of cleaning sea cottages.
Well, the general impression of the Country of the Soul- the soul grows smaller every year, sadness… Tsytata: "you're eating here because it's cheap, you don't like it - go to Turkey" 🫣 everyone in the canteen is talking about everything)))
I have always been for this country and recreation, but I doubt that I will come here again.

A solid five ! The pension is located in a beautiful picturesque place. What kind of plants are not here! Everything is looked after , watered , trimmed - watched . The transfer is free, which is very nice. We rested in other hotels in Abkhazia - so they skinned three skins for the transfer, well, that's it, for comparison))
The staff is very friendly and pleasant.
The canteen staff - special thanks to them , everything is very tasty , sincere , but most importantly - in abundance . Several options for first courses, several options for second courses , lots of vegetables , fruits , drinks and a very tasty variety of desserts.
The rooms are in order, this is monitored by responsible maids. Wi-Fi works everywhere and even on the beach))
The only drawback is that the wheelchair lifts are not comfortable . After the rain, the slopes became slippery and I slipped, fell heavily, fortunately, my daughter was strapped in a stroller.
11 days of rest flew by unnoticed . We will definitely come back!

The sea: I do not know when to go, so that, as it was written in some reviews, the sea was a) cold and b) gray, dirty, in August the water is the purest, azure color! and warm at the same time! the mountain river, which flows nearby, did not affect the water quality in any way!
The territory of the boarding house: very large! there are places to walk, sit and relax, a lot of plants! moreover, unusual ones, imported from somewhere, they have their own botanical garden, distributed throughout the boarding house. there are playgrounds, table tennis tables, as well as two small pools (but there are mostly children, adults come to the sea to swim in the sea)

We have just returned from the Pine Grove, a heavenly place, a combination of nature, greenery, comfort and relaxation. There were always plenty of sun loungers by the pool and on the beach. There is no crowd on the beach compared to the neighboring boarding house, where the entire territory is built up with buildings and houses and, accordingly, there are a lot of people everywhere.

I really want to leave a review about my vacation at the Pine Grove boarding house. We had a great rest , but there were nuances that I would like to share . We lived in the 1st building. Thank you for the transfer , everything is organized and met , although the transfer was late .
We lived four people in one room. The sweetest cleaner , cleaned the garbage daily and reported toilet paper , but not once in 10 days did she wipe the floor and change the linen . Once the air conditioner broke down and the receptionist was not pleasant to us for two days, it was written on her face that she was very tired of vacationers, she fed us with promises that the master was about to come and repair the air conditioner. After two painful nights of stuffiness and after my indignation , we were offered to move to another room. I had to pack my things and move them . There are no problems with sun beds at sea , everyone has enough , in the evening at 18 o'clock they kindly ask to release the sun beds that are located next to the shore in order to put them in place.
The dining room has great , delicious food! The female canteen administrator occasionally shouts very loudly with glassy eyes , in which there is no sincerity , that she loves Russian tourists very much .
The pool is cleaned every day and its cleanliness is monitored, which is very pleasant. The Jacuzzi is filled with the smell of urine in the evening , because the kids fill it with urine . It is also thoroughly washed in the morning .
Evening leisure for children is organized in an interesting way.
One evening we decided to dance at an adult disco , with grief for the sexes , 8 people gathered on the dance floor . DJ Daria switched the music, interrupting the song that had started in half and turning on another one. After such a disco , the desire to go a second time did not appear .
Not paying attention to these little things , our vacation was over.

It was May-June 2023. Budget holidays with children. The price included: transfer, two-room room, buffet 3 times. Food. We were there for 10 days. Transfer: we were met by a minivan, taken to the border. A guide met me there and took me across the border. Another driver met me abroad and took me to the boarding house. Everything is clear, cultured and fast. The boarding house and the territory are clean. Linen is changed every 5 days, cleaning every day. Food: home cooking, fresh food, good choice. The sea is clear two minutes from the entrance to the boarding house. The beach is sandy and pebbly, it is better to take shoes with you.
A village with shops and a wine factory is a 15-minute walk away. At the gate of the boarding house

Of the disadvantages, the transfer of passage across the border is terribly organized. Everyone is running, at first the conductor is terribly slow going about his business. Then he runs people across the border.
If possible, just have the numbers of the transfer cars and the specific place where they stop, or drivers with signs, the impression of passing the border is very spoiled. We repeatedly came to Abkhazia, we crossed the border ourselves, there were fewer problems!!

We stayed in September in the 3rd building. The case looks beautiful.
Our room was on the ground floor - the disadvantage is that there is very strong audibility here, you will constantly hear footsteps above the guests staying. Therefore, it is better to ask for rooms on the second floor in this building.
There is not a single available outlet in the room!
During the week of our stay, our room was never cleaned humanely. We took a broom ourselves and swept the room, raking out a bunch of sand and hair in a few days – this suggests that the cleaner in the room never even walked with a mop. It's just disgusting!
Only the garbage was picked up every other day. That's it!
It's strange that the bathroom didn't even provide disposable soap, let alone slippers.
All my own. The price is too high and I do not find a justification for their pricing.
Upon arrival, we were required to pay for insurance. By the way, it was previously imposed on me when buying a ticket from Ritsa Tour. The receptionist was very unhappy when I refused to purchase insurance on the spot for the second time. She began to carry some kind of nonsense, such as insurance purchased in Russia will not work on the territory of Abkhazia, and supposedly you only need to buy insurance from them on the spot. A nice boarding house right by the sea. The food is great. A buffet where nothing ends! It is varied and very tasty. The staff is responsive, everyone cares about the comfort for vacationers. The territory is large, there is a place to walk in the evening or just sit on the beach. The territory is fenced, there are no outsiders on the territory and on the beach. Free sun beds can be found at any time. Everyone has enough.
Among the disadvantages: it is slightly removed from the main highway, the Pitsunda- Gagra shuttle bus runs 1 time /hour or a taxi.

We visited this boarding house at the end of July this year. We really liked the boarding house!!!! But I liked it in my own way.
1) If you want a super trendy boarding house, you are not here
2) If you want to party, hang out, clubs, restaurants, you also miss it.
There is peace and quiet in this boarding house. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday, then welcome!!!! No one is shouting, no music is yelling, after 22:00-23:00 there is complete silence on the street, only the sound of waves by the sea. There is one controversial point, if you do not buy a local SIM card, roaming is crazy
and wi-fi is weak in the boarding house, then you are almost without Internet. It's enough to call watts ap, but you won't be able to watch videos or play. But we did not pay attention to this, we were only in a high (no calls, no messages) moral rest. The rooms are clean enough, the food is delicious, the beach is almost empty (since the beach is only for residents of the boarding house) the sun beds are free and there are quite a lot of them. The sea was clear too, at least while we were here.

We had a rest from 07/14.23 to 07/21.23. There are no questions about the boarding house, everything is fine. Delicious varied food, wonderful beautiful territory, extraordinary air, wonderful animation for children, clean beach with free umbrellas and sun loungers. The boarding house is excellent. We lived in a cottage, the only disadvantage is the audibility. The cottage is divided into 2 parts (consists of two rooms). That is, 2 different doors and each has 2 rooms (without doors) and a shower room with a toilet. But when someone was walking in the neighboring part of the cottage, it felt like they were walking in our part of the cottage, since the floor is shared, just separated by a wall. But if you find fault, everything is fine.
But the vacation did not start as well as I described it earlier. After the airport, he meets the transfer and takes us to the border, there are no complaints about the transfer driver who met us in Sochi, he is well done. And then the tin began. We seem to pass the border on our own, but in fact we follow the man (he leads us without a queue, which is not very pleasant to the rest? Who is standing in line and this is quite logical and fair. We all stand the same and we stand, my husband and child and I fairly stood in line and passed, but then the most interesting thing awaited us. We went through and for some reason waited for the whole group of 40 people, for which we still did not understand. The child was tired, exhausted. It's terribly hot. We thought they would take us all in one bus, but in fact we passed the border for about 2 hours and then did not pass, but expected all the people from "our" group to be met by a person and asked who was going where, to which boarding house. As a result, 5 people went to our boarding house (three of them and two more). Was there any point in waiting? The organization is at zero. The impressions were spoiled.
But then everything is fine, the sea, the food, the territory, and now the moment of our departure has come. Where they took us from the boarding house and took us to the border. We drove for almost 1.5 hours, but why? Because we were driving through all Gagra, along narrow streets (where only one car passes, and there are no places for oncoming cars, therefore we had to skip and wait) There is no air conditioner, it is insanely hot, the children are vomiting from being seasick and because it is hot, and the finish of this program was a check-in at some house for 10 minutes. The driver did not say what it was, did not apologize, did not specify. Everyone was unhappy, but they were silent as well-mannered. In general, the boarding house is great, but if I suddenly come back, I'd better take a taxi, because I'm still moving away from the trip back. I'm shooting a star for this. Think about the organization, they ruin all the ratings.

My favorite place. Rooms for a very different budget and taste. The food is delicious and satisfying. I really like this combination of the abandonment of the beaches of Pitsunda and the boarding houses of Stalin's times. There is a new wooden building for more demanding tourists. Ship pines, ivy, wild grapes on the facades, palm trees and feijoa - neatly cleaned and not very refined by landscape designers.

But the management is not interested in guests in general, nor in private sanatoriums in Kislovodsk. Only the employees are friendly and in the dining room too.
It's quiet in September, since out of 400 guests, if only a hundred come out, the rest come to change the situation and eat heartily, apparently they are stopped at home. A lot of overweight and very old people.But there is a lot of space on the beach and in the sea too, but since September 14 it has been stormy and the cold river does not allow you to stay longer. Swimming is not here. A room for more than 9,000 is relatively expensive.The 4th floor has no elevator, they refused to change it with an additional fee.Book for 45,000 in March and get a "pig in a poke", a specific one is impossible! Half a month for 150,000 can be better found, 3.5 days of swimming- storm, rain. The pool is small and there is no heating.
A transfer presented as a gift is disgusting. We did not meet them, but others were taken to different points for 5 hours. Well, if you're lucky, it would be better if it wasn't included in the price. The money was not refunded for the transfer, but we spent 2,600 for two.
Cottage cheese is wildly fatty and sour cream- grandmothers eat somehow. Breakfast for 20 days is monotonous and incompatible to the limit: pork sausage and cottage cheese Lunch is plentiful, there is a lot of meat. Onion, dill, parsley..The chef does not like delicacies, not a pro, just "like at home." Bored elderly ladies lead to sad thoughts.
There is devastation around, 4 abandoned boarding houses in the direction of Gagra. Thanks to the USSR that this one has not collapsed yet. The number is a one-off. The toilet is in order and the window opens, in the bathroom, if not for the inconvenient faucet in the washbasin, everything is OK. The linen is clean.

I don't know why everyone is praising the kitchen so much. We stayed here for 7 days, the food was monotonous, either cutlets or goulash. For side dishes, either pasta or buckwheat. Rarely potatoes. They can't even make mashed potatoes.... All the second courses are cold, if you want something hot, go ahead and warm it. The food is either overcooked or over-dried. Once during the whole vacation they gave pilaf ... it's a problem with fruits in general, they can't give corny apples or pears, occasionally they cut watermelon. There are a couple of types of salads and tomatoes with cucumbers. Meals are served in 2 shifts and at a table assigned to you, an extremely inconvenient system. For example, I want to have breakfast today at 8, and tomorrow at 10. And you come and someone is already sitting at your table.....
The territory of the hotel is well maintained, there is a saving restaurant, where we mostly had lunch. There are fruit shops nearby.
The sea periodically becomes cold, because of the flow of the mountain river, in principle, there are no complaints about the beach and nature, there is a canopy and places under it. Some of the sunbeds are cracked by voluminous vacationers. Occasionally, broken sun beds lie on the beach. (Buy carols, entrance to the sea by stones, they are also sold in local shops)
There is some kind of dump nearby, in the evenings it periodically stinks from burning garbage.....
The staff at the hotel is polite and always ready to help.
The pillows in the rooms are terrible, those with a sore neck are sorry for you in advance.
In principle, if they fix the kitchen and stop cooking monotonous overcooked /over-dried food, then maybe it will get better.
3 stars pulled out only the views from the room, the staff and the restaurant.

The view from the room to the sea and the territory of the boarding house is simply gorgeous!!! 👍 Number: outdated! Everything seems to be more or less clean, a good TV, refrigerator, air conditioning. I have a double room, I live alone. The room itself is small, it will be cramped for two. Two beds side by side, got caught with hard spring mattresses, pillows with lumps are not comfortable to sleep! The balcony is large, with a beautiful view, but there is no flooring, just a stove. You can go on excursions, there is definitely where and what to see here!!! For children: swimming pool, playground. And also: there are no kettles in the rooms!! There is no cooler on the floors ! To drink coffee in the morning or tea in the evening, you need to go to the reception on the 1st floor!!! Total: there are both cons and pros.
