Well, they've already written about food and other joints here, but the most important thing is that it's impossible to sleep until one o'clock at night because of the screaming music from the neighboring disco! This is despite the fact that by law it is forbidden to make noise after 23.00, but in Turkey, apparently, no one gives a shit about it. In general, I strongly do not recommend it.

So.. The horror! A nightmare! Outrage! The attitude towards cattle, especially in the canteen, cannot be called anything else. The female distributor ate with her hands from a common salad bowl, "while no one sees," with the same hands she puts everything in one plate, like pigs, into one plate: olivier, Greek yogurt, and other snacks and salads. When asked not to do so, but to put portions in different dishes, ignores or swears in his own language. THE DISTRIBUTOR SWEARS AT THE VISITORS!! I often travel and stay in very different places from 1 star and a guesthouse, to five-star hotels, but I have not met such an attitude anywhere! They don't know any languages, neither English, nor Russian, nor French.. There is no one to complain! But as soon as it's time for lunch or dinner, I feel anxious and a certain disgust, it's not even a fly in the ointment during a vacation, so limited in time. I strongly advise you not to stay in this hotel! Ruin your whole vacation. No one is smiling, the negativity is directly read from the staff, seriously, this is the first time. I have to go to a restaurant with my wife, and this is money. Today I'll take my camera with me and post this mess somewhere where I can!

We rested at the hotel from 6.10.20 to 15.10.20. Three adults. Initially, we booked a Standard land view room. Then we found out that the hotel has 6(!) Family rooms, all with sea views and two rooms.
Upon arrival at the reception, we found out that there is a free one and for $ 30 (for all and all days) we changed the city view to a sea view with two rooms. BOOK ROOMS WITH SEA VIEW ONLY. The other views are very sad-the neighboring building or the road.
We lived on the 4th floor. There is a small elevator. Middle-aged rooms. Something new, something old. The bathroom is quite new and normal. Mattresses where-how. We had a new air conditioner and it worked well, the second one barely puffed and did not cool.
They clean mediocre. We don't always grab towels. They left tips. To change towels, they threw them on the floor and a cleaning sign on the door.
The key card for the room was one for three people.
WiFi was also available in our room. Early in the morning, the speed is good. During dinner, barely.
The food is normal for Turkish 3*. There is not enough meat. Delicious yogurt for breakfast. You can always pour water. There is a delicious light beer at the pool bar.
The staff speaks Turkish, English is poor, and does not speak Russian at all.
The hotel does not have a territory as such. The hotel building and the swimming pool. There are umbrellas and sun beds by the pool. There are no beach towels in the hotel.
Music plays at the pool bar until 22 (everything is turned off and closed at 22). This action was clearly audible on the 4th floor and the windows facing there. After 22, you can sometimes hear the neighboring bars. From 7-7:30 in the morning, you can hear the bar and breakfast preparations in the form of stacks of glasses. The mosque is not heard. Nearby there is a shopping center, shops, exchangers. Everything is a 5-minute walk away.
2 minutes to the sea. There is no private beach. Sun beds at the cafe. There is a lot of choice. Choose the ones you like-go to bed-order something. We went to karen brasserie. It's on the right and through a few cafes. There is good service there. Comfortable sun beds. Delicious food and drinks. The most delicious desserts (try the Trilice). Andy's wonderful manager. The prices are not the lowest, but a large Turkish tea is 7TL, dessert is ~22TL. The atmosphere is the best.
A lot of British people are vacationing in Marmaris. In some places, even prices are in pounds. The service is higher from this. There are many English speakers. But Russian is almost never spoken anywhere.
We recommend the Arbat Travel travel agency, aka Marmaris Travel. A VERY BIG, responsible company. We went with them to Pamukkale and the Aegean Islands. Prices are two (or more) times lower than those of hotel guides. The service is on the level.
The old town is 20 minutes away on foot (1.6 km). Take a walk through the small streets, they are beautiful.

Vacationed with a friend at the Sonnen Hotel in October 2018. I really liked the hotel! I won't write anything about Marmaris itself, because everyone says a lot of good things about it anyway, and I agree with that! Nature, air, sea, embankment are just a fairy tale!
Let's move on to the hotel:
Accommodation in rooms: we arrived at night and had to wait until one o'clock in the afternoon when we were allocated a room, it was hard because you can hardly sleep in the lobby, someone on the plane did not sleep..but this is not a disadvantage of the hotel, but their policy. Check-in to the rooms only after 12:00.
Food: they are being fed for slaughter! Just like in 4*! There is always soup, a lot of hot stuff for every taste and color, there are sweets and fruits. Lots of fresh greens! Delicious salad dressing! Very tasty pasta, potatoes, pilaf, rice, etc.! The dishes are moderately salty. There are very few spicy dishes. And the chef always came out to everyone, greeted them, was very polite and friendly.
Hotel accommodation: just a fairy tale!
It is a 3-minute walk to the sea, we liked to walk to the port and to Icmeler.
It's a long way to Icmeler, of course, but walking along the embankment is paradise!
And swimming is very good for those (away from the port)
Oh yes, and the most wonderful thing: the bar closes at 22:00 and after 22:00 there is complete silence! It was perfect! Because we walked all day, got tired and wanted to sleep after 22:00
Maybe it won't happen at the height of the season, but in October I really liked it.
And for party-goers, there is a bar street, which is served by a free bus from the hotel at 23:00 and returns at 3 a.m. And from the hotel 50% on alcohol in one of the bars. But we didn't go to bar Street at night.
Cleaning: we came in every day, cleaned up, made the bed.
The towel was changed 2 times a week (if I'm not mistaken).
I didn't really like the wifi
For dinner, just won't connect to it
We went to a cafe and surfed the Internet there.
As it is, this is a wonderful hotel, I really liked it there!

A complete abomination, not a hotel. I have not been to a worse hotel, I have been traveling regularly for the 30th year. The service at the lowest level, at times, borders on bullying visitors. Meal...nightmare. There is nothing. Almost with incandescent hands, namely incandescent, in a group of one in one plate. Aggressive behavior of the staff in the dining room. No forks, no tea, no coffee is fine. There is no juice, there is yuppie. There is no normal Internet either. And the boorish attitude at the distribution. I do not recommend it, you spoil your whole mood

I really liked the hotel. We have been going on vacation here for several years now. The first coastline, in the city center, there are many bars available for every taste. The territory is not large, very comfortable. Nice pool, there is a small pool for children. The pool is always cleaned. The rooms are cleaned every day, there is a refrigerator, air conditioning. They feed well, especially I really like how eggplants are cooked. It's just a masterpiece, you can lick your fingers. The staff is courteous and friendly. Hello everyone I liked everything very much as for the average 3 hotel, there is a very clean pool next to the entrance. As for the food, the chef Denis is quite tasty and very friendly. Guys, in no case do not take excursions from a tour operator, this is a scam, their prices are cosmic much more expensive than in tents on the street, you can even bargain with them. I really liked the excursions from ROMA very close to the hotel if you are looking for excursions on the street, try to buy from him!

A small hotel. The food is not bad, apart from the fact that there is almost no meat except chicken. Wi-Fi catches poorly and only in the lobby. It's not far from the sea, less than a minute. The pool is small, it looks more massive in the photo. Design and repair - there are some disadvantages if you look closely. It's quite good for its 3 stars. Many hotels in this category have neither a swimming pool nor greenery on site. And the location in the center of Marmaris.
