1) The location is simply gorgeous, the beach is 2 minutes at the bar for 130lir fresh and your sunbed and the sea is clean, it takes 20 minutes to walk to the center on foot slowly
2) The rooms are normal for 3*, there was not enough high chair or bedside table for things, the air conditioner worked strangely, but not critically, pillows, mattresses are comfortable
3) The food for 9 days is normal, the vegetables were always fresh, you can choose delicious desserts, the meat is too small, but I don't eat much, I was normal)
4) excursions to historical Pamukale Hierapolis, etc. it is probably better to take a hotel guide so that the guide is definitely Russian, from the locals across the street if only excursions like the Aegean Islands, rafting can be taken
We rested at the Sonnen Hotel in the second half of September 2024
Advantages and nuances of the hotel:
1. the hotel is clean, the floors are washed with a huge koercher machine, the room was also cleaned perfectly, any cups and dishes on site are promptly cleaned
2. The rooms are not huge, but quite comfortable. Those that go out into the courtyard are quieter, they almost do not hear the rather loud embankment. Special thanks for the bathroom - the shower room is spacious and very clean. There are a couple of chairs on the balcony for drying clothes
3. restaurant and bar - here you will not see dozens of types of side dishes, salads, desserts or hot dishes, which many fives are famous for, do not forget that this is a three;) But it is important to note that despite the small selection, almost everything is delicious at home
I will list what I especially remember:
breakfast is a delicious omelette, which is prepared in front of you with tomatoes, peppers and cheese and for which there are queues, otherwise, as usual, cheeses, sliced, yoghurts, greens, oranges
for lunch and dinner:
- side dishes (rice, noodle rice - a very tasty kind of rice, rustic potatoes, French fries, stewed vegetables)
- hot (chicken, kebabs, very tasty and tender turkey, white fish used to be), - the freshest pide with cheese (similar to khachapuri), minced meat, herbs, pizza is very even Nothing
- there are very few fruits, but every lunch and dinner we ate the most delicious watermelons and melons, we still need to look for such
- there are also quite a few desserts, but among them it is worth highlighting brownies, which are just perfect, chocolate dough with a delicate chocolate impregnation, not sickly sweet, namely chocolate, there were also cakes with a delicate dough at the bottom, and a chocolate jelly-like cap on top, in addition, in foil trays similar to chocolate cheese carat jelly. I emphasize that it is not wildly sweet, but it is the chocolate taste, we tried the rest of the cakes and did not really like them. It was also so delicious that they used to go for more, but there were almost always completely empty plates
The service in the restaurant should be noted separately - the waiters promptly take away empty plates, prepare tables so that everyone can start eating as soon as possible, they are very polite and always say thank you in Turkish, English and Russian.
The bar is excellent, strong alcohol was not drunk, beer, as in almost all of Turkey, is almost non-alcoholic, but it is pleasantly refreshing, cola and sprite from the vending machine in the bar taste better than our branded glass. Russian Russian is a very responsive and prompt bartender, he diligently studies the Russian language and sometimes it seems that he is not particularly Turkish, but rather even Russian, judging by the phrases and wishes of "bon appetit";)
4. Beach and sea - walk to the sea less than 200 meters from the room door to the entrance to the sea, there are small pebbles along with sand on the shore, then after sunset mostly sand, stones are rarely found. Of the superpluses, the sea is calm in the morning (flat as a pond), and in the evening small waves and then not always. We swam on this trip more than ever, the sea is one of the best in Turkey, and we have already visited many cities. The water at the entrance is refreshing, but then you don't want to get out at all, sometimes fish surround you when entering the sea, but unlike Oludeniz or Side, where it was also very pleasant, none of us were bitten here
5. the embankment is long and very beautiful, there are many nice cafes, tourists and locals walk in the evening, various shows are arranged in restaurants, live music is playing
Disadvantages of the hotel and the beach:
1. Internet as luck would have it - in some rooms it catches even from the bed, and in others it catches very poorly even on the balcony. If you really need it, then it catches perfectly in the lobby or near the pool
2. audibility in the room is generally quite calm, but if loud neighbors start up or two cleaners decide to chat in the hallway after lunch, then you will find out about it
3. a place to enter the sea - after going to the embankment, you come across a huge number of cafes that stand solidly, flowing from one to another, the territory on the shore is also completely occupied by them, up to the water itself there are sun beds. "Kind" touts offer free sun beds, but with a small condition - everyone should take a drink, which is on average about 400 lira, for four it turns out 1600 lira or almost 5 thousand rubles for a visit to the sea. We ourselves like to swim up to an hour and a half per call, but not to lie down and sunbathe, so we do not see any point in overpaying for such tempting offers. As a result, we went to a neutral territory, where we left our slippers and clothes, after which we immediately went swimming
4. The environment. Quite a lot of foreigners (mostly British, also Poles, local Turks) are still a plus, as they behave quite quietly and calmly. But in places there are compatriots who like to turn on Anna Asti, who is all around the pool, who is all over the bars or Raspberry Lada, who rushes beyond the MKAD (I have nothing against performers and songs, but when it screams to the fullest and does not specify whether the whole hotel wants to listen to it, then somehow it does not become comme il faut). I also felt Spanish shame when a compatriot, who was quite tipsy from morning until night, persistently urged the bartender to learn Russian, since he works here. But there were only a couple of similar cases during the entire trip, so they did not overshadow the impressions of the rest
To summarize:
1. The sea is one of the best in Turkey
2. The food is tastier than in many of the five that you have previously visited
3. The location of the hotel is super-convenient
4. I consider the disadvantages against the background of all the advantages insignificant and highly recommend both the Sonnen Hotel and Marmaris in general to everyone
A good budget hotel. The location is good, everything is nearby. Entertainment, bars, restaurants. Shops, market. A square with singing fountains. The main attraction of the city is the Old Fortress of Marmaris. A port with various yachts. Tour desks. The food is normal, for four-. The sea is nearby. Sun beds for an additional fee.the fee.
A good hotel - we rested from 9 to 16 September 2024. The rooms are small but clean, cleaned every day, the bathroom is good, there is sound insulation in the rooms. The territory is small, but green, there is enough space for everyone. The food is normal, they try to make it different, you won't stay hungry. The sea is a 3-minute walk away. The location is great. The hotel fully justifies its 3 *.
The price, quality and service are consistent, friendly and helpful staff. The excellent location of the hotel is the first line, in the city center there are stops and markets nearby. The old town is a 20-minute walk along the embankment.
We had a room with a sea view, the sunrises were unforgettable! I recommend
So, the freshest impressions arrived on 05.10.2024.
The hotel is really very good, in terms of food – breakfast from 7:30 to 10:00 (omelette, eggs, porridge, sliced, crumbly thoughts and chocolate balls, vegetables, pancakes), lunch from 12:30 to 14:00 (turkey or chicken, rice, stewed vegetables, potatoes and stewed and french fries / rustic, onion rings, nuggets, pasta, a couple of vegetable salads and just vegetables, always 4-5 types of desserts, fruits), afternoon tea from 16:00 to 16:30 ( 2-3 types of cookies for tea /coffee), dinner from 19:00 to 21:00 (also chicken or turkey and fish, about 3-4 types of side dishes, roast delicious tortillas with different beginnings every day, as well as 4-5 types of desserts, vegetables and salads, fruits). The bar is open until 22:00, all non-alcoholic drinks are good, beer is OK, cocktails are not wow, but we took a couple of times). The rooms are minimalistic, but everything you need is there, even TNT catches on the TV, the audibility is average, cleaning every day. The pool is clean and deep, but it was already cool.
The sea is really close to walk for 3 minutes, go out to the embankment and any cafe offers a sunbed with an umbrella for a drink, we did this all vacation, prices for drinks (non-alcoholic) from 150 lira/piece, alcoholic from 300 lira/piece (but some offer to take one second as a gift). The water is +26 at this time, swimming is fine, sunbathing is also fine.
There is an exchanger across the street, you can even change rubles for SBP, migros and bim are not far away, Sasha Frome Rush took excursions only from him, also Forum outlet and MGM outlet (they sell clothes and cosmetics, towels and souvenirs).
In general, everything is close by location, especially if you like walking).
In summary, I can recommend the hotel.
By the way, early check-in / late check-out from the room is 25 cu., so they check in at 14:00, check out at 11:00 (this is not a typo, it is at 11:00). Also, the staff is all good-natured and helpful)
Thank you for the rest❤
A very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Delicious and diverse cuisine. The room was cleaned every day. The beach is 2 minutes away from the hotel. There are many shops nearby, an ATM for withdrawing money right next to the hotel. The center is 20 minutes away. It's a beautiful place, I advise everyone.
A decent example of how an inexpensive hotel can look decent. The hotel is clean. The rooms have been partially renovated. Towels in the room are changed every other day. The beach is next to the hotel, but it is public. There are no beach towels. The power system is all inclusive. Wi-Fi is working well throughout the territory. The staff is pleasant and good-natured.
A very comfortable hotel. We had a Family room, as there were two adults and two children. We checked in at a quarter to nine in the evening, but nevertheless, the receptionist quickly sent us to dinner at the reception, said that we would still have time, realizing that we were tired and hungry from the road. The food at the hotel is very good, the staff is polite. Cleans rooms daily, comfortable balconies overlooking the pool on 1-3 floors and overlooking the sea and mountains on 4-6 floors. The pool is open until 19.00, there are air mattresses, circles and balls for children. A large dining area where you can eat both indoors and at tables outside, closer to the pool. Downstairs, there are many comfortable armchairs in the corridors of the hotel. The Internet is rated 3-4, but the lobby is much better. The only big disadvantage is audibility! At night, you can hear everyone who went to dances, clubs and bars, sometimes noisy and drunk Englishmen! Very echoing stone stairs and thin doors. Otherwise, this hotel is on a solid 4+!!!
Excellent location (3 min. to the beach, 1 min.to a busy street, 20 min. walk to the center or 3 stops of dolmusha). Clean, polite staff, fresh plumbing, everything works (there was air conditioning, hair dryer, refrigerator). The food corresponds to ××× (a lot of delicious stewed and fresh vegetables, there were fish, chicken, meat meatballs like kufta, etc., nuggets, sweets, olives, coffee-water-tea, juices like yuppi). I only lacked a watermelon for lunch (they gave it for dinner). There is no beach of your own, but if you take juice for 100 lire, then use a clean sunbed / umbrella. You can just put things on the sand. The entrance to the sea is sandy, very clean
Three, but the service is five! The most friendly staff. The Russian-speaking administrator meets and accepts as his own. The food is fresh, delicious, European. The location is convenient to the sea 30 seconds, near the exchanger with a good rate. Unfortunately, the hotel does not have a beach, but this is not a minus. You can sunbathe on the sun beds that belong to bars, but it is better to specify in advance how much you need to order at the bar. Rooms with old furniture, but clean. Very clean, lapped every day, clean towels on request. The territory of the hotel is not large, but very clean and cozy.
We are currently resting here. The beginning of the season, we are alone in the hotel) Amazing service, very tasty food. Despite the fact that the hotel is not new, everything is very clean and pleasant. The pool has normal water - warm, clean. A minute walk to the sea, 180 degree sea view from the room. The location, in general, is top - everything is nearby, and the shopping center, and restaurants, and pharmacies, and exchangers, and it takes 20-25 minutes to walk to the hangout. Very friendly manager at the reception, speaks Russian fluently, will solve any question) We are 100% satisfied!
Rested from 09.10. to 17.10 23. A wonderful hotel! The location is gorgeous!!. I walked both ways from the hotel. Ours is the most successful! Friendly and friendly administrator! The check-in was a great success! Room 227. Was in the shade, which suited me very well. I was practically not in the room. I took excursions and walked. The food is what you need: vegetables, cheeses, omelets, scrambled eggs, even soups took. There are practically no fish! But.... everything went to me! I went to the sea from morning till 12-00. A sunbed and an umbrella for 100 lire at the AIDA bar. It didn't bother me. Shopping also turned out to be very productive. I am very happy. Marmaris old is very similar to Greece! I recommend it!
Great hotel. It seems like a three, but for a tourist like me, it's 4+, daily cleaning, and other small things, the kitchen is very good. The sea and shops are three or four steps away. The atmosphere of relaxation on 101
It's a great budget option for a threesome. Good location, by the sea and close to all the sights. Food: vegetables in all kinds, olives, chicken, fish, some pastries, desserts, watermelons from fruits. The pool bar is open until 22.00. Beer, cocktails, wine, juices, tea and coffee. Cleaning in the room daily. The staff is friendly, requests are fulfilled. The rooms are ordinary, we had a fairly spacious room for three people, with a view of the neighboring hotel and a little bit of the street. Vacationers are mostly Turks and Russian speakers.
We rested from October 10 to October 17. The hotel is great. Friendly staff, room cleaning every day. Good food: breakfast, lunch, lunch and dinner. Drinks: alcohol, soda, juices, delicious tea and coffee.
We can say that the first coastline, but the free beach is a 15-minute walk away.
A beautiful embankment that leads to the attractions, the fortress and the street of clubs.
If it were possible to put 0, then I would, this hotel is not worth a single star or even my money. The first day here and I want to cry, it's the first hour of the night, music from a nearby cafe is screaming, it's impossible to sleep. Terrible furniture, which was apparently released during the time of Ataturk, the walls are plastered, the room is tiny, the color of the walls looks like a child's surprise. Do not believe the good reviews, even this hotel is not worth its own, not so huge by the standards of Turkey, it is simply unbearably located here
We were in 2023, in general everything is fine, we got along! For 3 stars, everything is very worthy!
Of the advantages:
1) proximity to the sea,
2) good nutrition,
3) the waiter service in the bar and restaurant is excellent!
4) clean pool
--
Of the minuses: they are there but insignificant
1) not very large rooms and not very fresh renovation in the rooms
2) no evening animation (were with a child)
3) there is no safe in the room

Excellent territory and location of the hotel, a large and deep pool, delicious (but monotonous) food, normal alcohol, juices can not be drunk, there were not enough sun beds by the pool, thanks to ghost guests, there are towels on the sun beds - there is no person, the sea is one minute away, the beaches belong to bars, so to stay on a sun lounger you need something It's hard to buy, but the beaches are clean and good. You can walk to the municipal beach, but it is worse. We first settled into a room with poor water pressure, plumbing did not work properly, a small and stuffy room. I had to pay extra to be settled in the best. The rooms are poor, but in general, there was enough, except for the clothes dryer, all wet things were thrown on chairs on the balcony. Wi-Fi is only available on the hotel grounds below and on the balconies. Also, the hotel does not adhere to its 14+ rule, there are a lot of children. What is the most unpleasant and terrible thing, we had a transfer at 13:00, eviction according to the rules until 12, we were kicked out at 11, the bracelet was removed from my husband, until I began to resent that we had to sit for 2 hours without food and water in the heat, with grief in half we were allowed to eat and drink, I had my bracelet I didn't give it back. Thank you for not being kicked outside over the fence))) and before closing the bar, everyone starts coming up and stocking up on drinks after closing, the bartenders selectively give drinks, someone has 30 glasses on the table, but they refused and gave us one at a time, arguing that there will be no time to collect glasses from the tables at night and we won't have time to drink. Overall, I recommend the hotel. It justifies its price. Location, territory, food, drinks - everything is ok.
The hotel has deteriorated. the Russians have a bad attitude. at 11:00, the bracelets are cut off and they are not allowed into the hotel. You can only go in and pick up your things. check-in is at 14, until that time, bracelets are not worn, numbers are not given. if you arrived in the morning, you need to think about where to go. the food is the cheapest. I do not recommend drinking in a bar at all. The rooms are sooo old
The hotel itself is very decent. The location is very good, near the central street, shopping center , many cafes, restaurants, shops. But the administrators...this is kapets. Russians are bred for money, they give bad numbers, and then you go to negotiate. We had a paid sea view in Moscow, well, like 6000 tr. We have already paid extra for the room. And they gave me a tiny, old room with smoky contents. Bottom line. we swore for 3 days and moved to a cheap category (view of the building), but fresher, bigger and most importantly not smoky.
A super guest for your money. Cleaning every day in the room. The food is good, you will not be hungry. Wi-Fi is lame in the rooms. There is no beach of its own, two minutes walk to the sea.
We were at the end of the season, we liked everything, especially the number of guests))) it's great when there are few people, you feel really on vacation. The food is excellent, the choice is small, but sufficient, the main thing is delicious! Especially grilled chicken 😍 thank you!
A good father. Cleaning every day, washing towels too . The food was delicious and varied .Beer is always cold. We went to the beach in the city , free umbrellas are always available . The rest was a success . I recommend the hotel. Big greetings to the Russian-speaking administrator Birtan.! Thanks to him for his help and sensitivity!
We rested together in the first decade of October 2023. The hotel is normal, there were no problems with checking in, changing towels, bed linen, cleaning the room. There were already a few staff, but they coped, all polite. The territory of the hotel is small, well-groomed, cleaned, washed and cleaned daily.. There are 2 employees at the reception desk, both of them understand Russian perfectly. They willingly answered all questions. There were no problems with nutrition, a lot of vegetables, cheeses, olives, salads, chicken in different types, potatoes, mackerel fish, national pies, pancakes and omelets for breakfast, sweet pastries. Hotel for 3+. Located close to the sea. Walking to the center is not problematic. We were satisfied. And there is something to compare with, we have already rested in Marmaris before, in another hotel.
So we rested Sonnen from 8 to 14.09.2023. If you enjoy your vacation and understand that this is a 3-star hotel, I don't see any disadvantages in the hotel at all.
Therefore, one of the advantages:
- very friendly and helpful staff;
- clean, cleaned often (you can't take towels to the beach, it's better to bring them with you, or buy them, I bought good and inexpensive towels in the center of Marmaris, where there are different shops when you go from the old town to the fountains - 120 lira), a whole towel store for every taste);
- the food is normal, you will not stay hungry, watermelon or oranges are made from fruits, chicken is usually made from meat, sometimes there is fish (we had everything included);
- we took a room with a sea view (we paid in advance for the sea view), it's cool, but we must keep in mind that it will be noisy, because there will definitely be an embankment and music until 2 am. If you don't want such a noise, it's better to have a view of the pool - it's also good;
- and of course, the most important thing is that there is 5 + for the location of the hotel - 2-3 minutes to the beach, the beach is youth, musical. But you need to know - to take sun beds with an umbrella - somewhere you just need to take one cocktail per person (from 99 to 299 lira), somewhere they immediately say 300 lira per person (i.e. you have to buy something for this amount). On the 6th day, we were just lying on the sand, laying towels where there is a place. After the Pepe restaurant there is another restaurant, then there is a space.
LOCATION
As I said earlier, it's close to the beach.
Near the old town, where the houses are in the Greek style (you can walk along the embankment on the right hand of the hotel, or take a dolmush - 20 lira), a great place for photo shoots. We drank freshly squeezed pomegranate and orange juice in the Kale cafe - they cooked with us, very tasty in the heat, a cozy colorful homemade cafe. There is also a restaurant nearby - a beautiful panoramic view of Marmaris.
There is also the Grand Bazar, next to the singing fountains in the evening you can watch - we liked it. There is also a Marina embankment with boats. There is a street of bars and discos nearby - we didn't get there. On the waterfront because it's already very festive fun.
To the left of the hotel, you can take the dolmushi (bus) to Icmeler - they say that the sea is cleaner there. But it seemed to us that on the contrary, apparently they just did not reach this place.
The weather was always hot. In the afternoon, 32-35 is ideal for us. The sea is warm and comfortable.
EXCURSIONS were also taken next to the hotel across the street in BigBoss (much cheaper than tour operators). On Instagram aza.marmaris.
Dima is a guide, a godsend for us in general)) Here we exchanged money (dollars / rubles for lira at a favorable rate), they also have bike rentals - we rode bicycles, there are specially equipped paths for cyclists, it is convenient.
As for the excursions
, we took 2 excursions :
- Dalyan (boating, mud baths, hot springs, swimming in the Dalyan sea, watching big turtles, eating fresh Dorado and crabs for an additional fee, delicious);
- Fethiye, Oludeniz (in the morning, national buns for breakfast, then the sea of Oludeniz, where you can jump with a paraglider, had a delicious meal in the village, then the Canyon). I liked both tours. I highly recommend it. Also, the "Aegean Islands" are very praised, but we did not take it.
In principle, I recommend Marmaris.
Have a good rest!
I was in Marmaris for the first time. It's very beautiful there and I want to come to this place again. I think I would also choose this hotel. The food is good, the cheese is delicious, there was not enough meat, fish without breading, there were mostly nuggets. Very nice staff and they love children, unlike our vacationers, there is no beach of our own, we found a strip without payment.
Vacationed with a friend in September 2023. The hotel is a troika, but it could become a 4 if the management aspired to it. For example, we had a late check-in, and despite the fact that the first day was paid for, and we were brought in at the beginning of 11 at night through no fault of our own (a very long wait at passport control at the airport, then luggage, very long transfer fees and transportation of tourists to hotels - our hotel was the last) and we left the house early in the morning, dinner was not left for us, tea and coffee were also not given to us, because the bar is open until 22:00, the hotel management in such cases does not consider it necessary to take care of their visiting guests and at least leave lunch boxes or a couple of sandwiches instead of dinner.
The second point is smoking right on the sun beds by the pool - I see this for the first time and it's nonsense. It seems that non-smoking vacationers, who are smelling tobacco at this moment, who are also on the sun beds, simply do not care about them, and they have not heard about specially designated smoking areas here.
Towels are not given to the beach. There is no private beach, but this is not a problem for Marmaris, there are good beaches here, but it's hard without an umbrella from the sun.
The food is good. Yes, the choice is small, especially there were not enough fruits: oranges for lunch and breakfast, watermelon for dinner and that's all fruit. There was no seafood at all. But we understood that we were going to the top three and therefore it was expected. But everything is always fresh and delicious. We never stayed hungry.
Now about the Russian-speaking administrator. This is the only person who is trying to help everyone, given the realities described above, in which he is. We had a fight with Birtan on the first evening because we were tired, hungry and angry. As a result, he helped us with food and then helped us in every possible way, suggested everything we needed. Birtan is a kind, open, sympathetic person.
In general, we can recommend the hotel for tourists with an adequate perception of a 3* hotel and a small budget. We rested well and inexpensively)
We are currently resting at this hotel. We arrived at 9 a.m. They said that check-in was from 14:00, we asked early and they met us halfway and settled in at about 11 o'clock. The staff is friendly, but they hardly speak Russian. If you know English, then there will be no problems. The rooms are small, modest, but clean. Everything is as in the photo. There is a large swimming pool with a children's area and sun beds. Deck chairs need to be occupied in the morning, otherwise you will be left without a place. Towels for the beach and pool are not provided, it is better to take them with you. Lunch is from 12:30 to 14:00. There is no variety as such, but you will not stay hungry. Several types of side dishes, 1 type of soup, salads - tomatoes and cucumbers with various herbs and cheese. Desserts are not very good. There were only oranges for lunch and watermelon for dinner. As for drinks, you can choose tea, coffee, juices, sodas and alcohol (after 14:00). The juices are diluted, but so in many places. The beach is a couple of minutes away on foot.
The hotel is not for possessive vacationers. If you are looking for a budget option, then this hotel is quite suitable.
We were at the hotel in early October 2023 . This is a 3* city hotel. If you come to the sea, and hang out at bars in the evening, then this is a great option. The location of the hotel is excellent-3 minutes to the sea, near a cafe and other infostructure. Small modest rooms, 3* meals, but everything is fresh. Unfortunately, there are a lot of semi-finished products. The hotel is clean, tidy. Not a bad pool. Russian russians are a lot in the hotel, the staff understands Russian.
I like everything,a good three, the location is excellent -the center,2 minutes to the sea,the staff is the best on the coast, the pool is large, the rooms are average, but everything is there, do not expect miracles from 3 years, I was there for the second time
Not a bad hotel, for 4. Slightly tighten the food by increasing the meat dishes. The sea is very close, there are no noisy trails nearby. The rooms are beautiful, cozy, cleaned every day. The staff is polite. Beautiful swimming pool. A three that deserves 4.
We had a rest in Marmaris in 2015 in this inexpensive hotel with a group of girls and boys 20-30 years old. The hotel is a youth hotel. I have not seen elderly or married couples with children at all. The hotel is simple, urban type. Almost no territory. There is a swimming pool, an outdoor bar. It corresponds to its stars. The first time I rested in 3* with all-inclusive meals. I liked the food. There was a choice. There was a lot of food. Meat, fish, everything is as it should be. Delicious. The rooms are ordinary. Everything was for a comfortable stay. The only thing in the morning, when people start to wake up, is the sound of slamming doors. There is no Wi-Fi on the ground floor. The speed is very low, but it was enough for correspondence. The beach next to the hotel is private, owned by local coastal cafes. If you buy something in these cafes, for example, a can of Cola, then the seller will provide access to the beach and a sunbed for free. The water is clean. Marmaris is a very cool resort, the best place in Turkey where I have been (Kemer, Beldibi, Belek are much worse). Nature, coniferous forests, air, the Aegean Sea. Marmaris is a great cozy town, with a beautiful promenade, which is so pleasant to walk in the evenings. Bicycles are rented out, inexpensively, then there were about 500 rubles for our money almost for the whole day.
THE PERFECT 3* HOTEL IN MARMARIS
After reading the reviews, I was afraid to go), but all our fears were dispelled immediately upon entering the hotel. At the reception, Aladdin's employee greeted us with a rosy, friendly welcome. They don't speak Russian, but they always smile. The whole staff is very friendly, that's how I came to visit my relatives. We were settled immediately without additional payment. The room has a sea view, although they took the standard. The rooms are compact, clean, the mattresses are white, I did not see any foreign odors and bedbugs here, they were cleaned every day, even the towels were changed. It's barely gorgeous for 3*. There wasn't a huge choice. That is, one type of fish or meat, two side dishes, salads, apples and oranges. Drinks include gin, vodka, two forks of wine, tea, coffee, beer. Turkish coffee is brewed. From the Animation, music by the pool. But we got even more than we paid for. The hotel has an ideal location. There is no beach of its own, but it is 3 minutes to the sea and there you can go to the free beach or take a sunbed from the cafe. Feel free to go, there's nothing terrible here And Russians are loved here
The hotel is not for Russians!
While relaxing in this hotel, you will feel the attitude towards Russians.
While relaxing at the hotel for dinner, I went to the reception to make a remark because of the noise of the drill, to which, instead of apologizing, they told me if something did not suit you, you would be deported from Turkey, there are such laws here, or call your tour operator and let them move you to another hotel. Is this a competent manager? Also accusing that all Russian drunks arrange a showdown with them.. Despite the fact that booze is a complete drinker, which is not that it is impossible to get drunk, it is even disgusting to use it. The beer is diluted, and the wine is sour. Like Russians will drink that too.
When asked to issue a book of complaints, he gave proto a piece of paper that would be thrown in the trash and would not even reach the owner of the hotel.
For our money, such a boorish attitude!!! It's a shame!!
The food is disgusting! Only chicken and cheese are edible, but when you eat it all week, you feel sick.
For breakfast, sweets are only waffles and margarine chocolate paste.
You can write the cons for a long time ...
From the pros close to the sea and that's it!!!
Don't spoil your vacation, it's better to pay a little more expensive and relax from the heart.
So, dear friends..
I am writing to you from sunny, hot and beautiful Turkey..a fresh review of the Sonnen Hotel.
So..3 stars..I would never put this hotel and 2...
everything is very tired..
Pros; it's a minute to the sea.
Perhaps these are all the advantages
Minuses;
The numbers are dead. I am attaching a photo.
Kondei is working with the last of his strength, he is about to die..to cool the 15kv room, you need it to work overnight..but since it's hot as hell, this cooling is enough for 5 minutes. For some reason, it hangs in the room above the bed, right above your head.
The refrigerator is the same as the air conditioner.
The beds are small and uncomfortable, a pillow can kill.
There is a TV, there are no Russian channels.
The elevator of the hotel is from the 50s..3 people is an overload
There are no air conditioners at the reception and in the lobby and in the dining room, get ready upon check-in, during the feast and if you want to sit with the Internet in the lobby (because there is no Internet in the rooms)- sweating like crazy...the heat is such that you can't think straight..
All inclusive is one name...breakfast here is the best thing that will happen to you- boiled eggs will become your best friends.
For lunch and dinner, there are always semi-finished products in the assortment- nuggets, meatballs and something else incomprehensible..meat and fish are not here in any form..at all..never..well, once a week- chicken leg..
Coffee, tea, yup- if you want to spit further than you see, then well done..
There are not enough plates for everyone, as well as tables..if you are sitting alone, 2 more strangers will be hooked up to you..
They give you one card per room - you will not be able to leave and put something on charge or cool the room..
There are no bathroom accessories either (gel, shampoo, etc.)
Safe at the reception, 15 bucks a week
The sea, the beach - everything is nearby. There is no private beach, towels are not provided. Sun beds and umbrellas from bars and restaurants, from 100 liras per day for two sun beds and an umbrella.
The sea is clean and warm..It's beautiful..
In general, I didn't expect miracles from 3ki, but it's really sad here..
We stayed at the hotel in October 2021. The hotel pulls on its 3 *. Beautiful well-maintained territory. The hotel is located within walking distance from the sea. The room was cleaned daily. Eating and drinking justifies a solid three. The staff is polite, friendly and patient. The swimming pool was clean and the water was warm. The only disadvantage is that Wi-Fi is available only in the lobby or pool area. But then they were measured. Overall, we liked it. I recommend.
3 stars 👍🏻 for the money that we got there is just super . But now those that the hotel itself offers to itself . If you don 't really watch what you eat , you won 't starve to death . The sea is nearby .
Audibility, that's visibility. Take earplugs with you. The rooms are cleaned very well.

We had a family vacation in July 2023. You will really like the hotel. Pleasant staff, clean well and often. According to the buffet, the food + is the same every day, you will definitely not be hungry, there is little meat and fruit (1-2 types) . There is nothing superfluous, just a good hotel
A great hotel for your money. Comfortable territory, nice pool, very tasty food. Polite and positive staff. The central promenade with bars and beaches is 2 minutes away. The center of Marmaris is 15-20 minutes on foot. I recommend.
The hotel is 2* and that is because of the proximity to the sea.
1) Rooms. The first and most unpleasant thing is dirty mattresses. At first, I did not take off the mattress pad (as they say, you know less, you sleep better), but very in vain, because a week later a rash appeared on my thighs, a path characteristic of bug bites. After examining the mattresses, I found them in a dirty state, sand, dust, dirt. They were so rubbishy that it was not even clear whether there were bedbug excrements or not. After all, if the mattresses were snow-white clean, then there would be no suspicion. And since they are very dirty, there is every reason to believe that there are bedbugs. And I changed the room, the same mattresses. They don't bother to exhaust them from the sand, let alone give them to the dry cleaners. By the way, at the reception they swore that there were no bedbugs, but at the same time they immediately called the pest control service, and they were going to poison the bedbugs right with the things in the room. Of course, I didn't let them do it, they left. Then they barely moved to another room (the attic, although it had a sea view before, but I didn't care about the view, as long as there were no bedbugs). Someone was checked into my old room on the same day. And I slept in a turtleneck and trousers until the end of my vacation. The air conditioner was killed, it did not cool completely, and it did not look like it had been cleaned for 100 years, so it did not turn on, since you can not cool it, but you will breathe in dust and mold thoroughly, that's for sure. The refrigerator is small, old, and full of smoke. The towels are gray instead of white, torn, and have not been updated for a very long time either. The light is only in the hallway at the entrance and at the beds of the sconces. There is no overhead light, apparently, so as not to look at the dirt. Room cleaning is wiping the floor with the same cloth as in the hotel corridor, and then a blunder, even the stains were not wiped off, so it's better not to walk barefoot around the room.
Hot water is not very hot, you can only wash without diluting it with cold. And by the end of October, when it got colder outside, it generally went like fresh milk, barely warm.
2) Nutrition. I'm a meat eater. And I went hungry. I was happy with the chicken (who would have thought, on vacation). But it's better when they gave you chicken. Because at the beginning of October there was also grilled fish that could not be swallowed, it was so dry. And they also gave soy semi-finished products, such that sometimes even cats did not eat them. The meat turns out to be very expensive there, it has never been in its pure form. Since mid-October, the grill has stopped working. Since you don't put it there yourself, then naturally, if you don't demand, they won't put a lot of meat on your plate. In general, there were more full plates of silage, the dream of vegans))) Sweets suck, tasteless, constantly some kind of souffle, or layers soaked in sugar syrup. They soaked it so much that it would stick together from the sweetness. During the three weeks of rest, the fruit was first watermelon, then apples or grapes all the time. Powdered coffee, often without milk (it ended up in the cappuccino machine), Tea - they themselves make some kind of bad and pour it into a thermos, not packaged in short. It's always the same for breakfast - boiled eggs, sometimes an omelette, sliced cheese with sausage, jam in tartlets from sweets. There was no porridge even once.
3) Location. The only plus is the first line. That's where the advantages ended. If your room overlooks the pool, then take earplugs with you, otherwise you will not survive there. Music all day, and until two in the morning there is a banging from bars nearby. Forget about the noise of the sea. As I understand it, it's better to have a room with windows facing the street, although it's not so noisy.
By the way, when I made a fuss about bedbug bites, and refused to move to the attic, the tour operator said that by the end of the season there were no other hotels, and they could only move me to a hotel in Icmeler, and it was necessary to pay almost the cost of the tour itself from above)) naturally, I refused, I had to move to the attic, and the last few days I just lived and waited for the flight. I even wanted to fly earlier, but of course there were no tickets either.
As for the beaches: if you want a cleaner one, you need to go by dolmusha to Icmeler, there is at least a relatively open sea. And in the bay there is a port, the water is more stagnant, respectively, and more dirty. And after a heavy downpour in the sea, the glass does not understand what, even a dead chicken sailed from the mountains. There is a kind of dirt in the photo.
Wi-Fi sucks, I only caught it at the reception, and then very rarely, I was constantly slowing down. Consider that he is not there.
So if you're going on vacation, you need to take a higher-level hotel to relax for fun, not for survival)
The hotel is terrible, there is nothing in this hotel, no Russian channels, no shower gel, etc., I am generally silent about beach towels, I have not heard about this here, there is no iron, although there is one in the description of the hotel, there is no normal booze, the rooms are terrible, torn sheets, a conder right over your head, alcohol mixed , meals for 4, I do not recommend the hotel for that kind of money, it only gets 2 stars
