Very friendly and prompt staff who recommended delicious dishes to us, and surprisingly - absolutely liked everything! we were leaving the establishment, and they even offered to treat us with lemongrass, but we were in a hurry, and we had to refuse.. but we will definitely come back to eat!
as for the price tag, it's super budget, the bill for four turned out to be 20,000-22,000 drams, so far the most budget of all the establishments in Yerevan that we visited.
it is completely unclear why the institution has such a low rating, because it deserves a confident 4.5 - 5 stars!

Super friendly place, got on a different composition, the staff is always just fire. The hostess always goes to a meeting quickly and offers a table, the waiters are always friendly, food and drinks are served exquisitely. It always feels like you've come to old friends and you're welcome. They are interested in whether they liked everything, one day they brought lemoncello to a tasting. Also a big plus is that they are dogfriends. I came with a dog and we were always greeted nicely. At the entrance there are bowls with boiled buckwheat and water. The location next to the cascade is ideal. Many thanks to the creators of the project, you are well done!

I visited Sola in Tsakhkadzor, where I liked it, so there were expectations from the new Yerevan Sola. This is where I stopped for lunch. I ordered eggs Benedict with salmon and eclair for dessert. The eggs are well made, but I would try to replace the grey bread with brioche. And definitely not pickle the salmon so much (or not pickle it at all; by the way, I was warned that it was pickled - well done, but why isn't it written on the menu?). I liked it overall, but the dominant taste was the salmon marinade. The serving size is standard for this dish. The eclair was quite large, there was a lot of custard inside - I liked it too. To some, the cream may seem too sweet, but with coffee it's the best thing. The staff is polite, the service is unobtrusive, although I would not say that it is very fast. The interior and terrace are in a modern Italian style, very nice, tired of the faceless cafes near the Cascade. Prices are above average, but it's worth considering the location.
UPD a day later. I came here for lunch, ordered tapenade with avocado and risotto with bacon and edamame. I didn't like the risotto at all. Judging by the condition of the sauce and the fact that the risotto was served to me literally 5 minutes later and before the salad - this is a preparation, and not of the best quality. Risotto is not a dish that should be chewed. But not in Sola: the rice is not al dente, but simply undercooked. This is unacceptable for an institution with an Italian bias. I liked the tapenade, it is served with strachatella, arugula, pistachio crumbs and green butter - I can recommend it.
Minus a point in the overall score for a bad risotto, upset.
