I can't be responsible for other "positive" reviews, but apparently we were unlucky, or just got used to a better approach to the client.
We came to the establishment, they pointed out to us an empty table, after which they ignored us for a long time, without even bringing the menu.
Then, when the order was finally accepted and went to work, the following algorithm of actions was used:
A kettle with delicious hot tea was brought (the only menu item that did not have any questions).
Then they brought cold beef stroganoff with mashed potatoes, and the same French fries.
And the cherry on the cake, the most expensive meat dish arrived much later, when the second person had already eaten his "cold dishes" and what do you think is in what condition - that's right, raw and cold vegetables have never been grilled together with dried meat.
Dinner and the mood were ruined.
PS - leaving Sogdiana, we noticed the same uneaten vegetables and pastries on all the plates of the guests.
The cafe uses its location in the park as a competitive advantage, but at the same time such an attitude towards the client on the part of the staff of the "hot kitchen shop".

1) Among the advantages: a pleasant atmosphere, music, a fountain, a corner with parrots.
2) Of the cons: I didn't like the dishes! The pizza is 4 cheese, where there is practically no Door Blue cheese, although I was assured that it was there and even showed live this grandiose piece of cheese that was used in the preparation of this pizza. But, unfortunately, in the Door Blue pizza, I did not see and did not feel its taste- invisible cheese.
A warm salad with liver - a sea of greens and 4 pieces of dried chicken liver.
Strawberry tart- with artificial synthetic pink filling and strawberries, not natural jam.
Waffles with banana- more or less liked, edible.

The kitchen is excellent! It's very tasty, the coffee is wonderful ☕️
The staff is friendly, fast, everything is captured 💪
The expectation was small, the music was pleasant New Year's Eve on the background, it did not interfere, which is very important!
The only thing is, I would finalize the design of the institution itself, now the style is a little mixed, there are a lot of unnecessary details, but you can make a candy! Well, these are recommendations, if my manager suddenly reads my review)

The friendly staff , the atmosphere is amazing , sooooo cozy , timely serving of dishes , and most importantly, everything that we did not order was stunningly delicious, and the portions of dishes were pleasantly surprised by their dimensions , and yes , I forgot all about tea- amazingly delicious , words cannot describe it all here you need to try .
P.S. You have the most delicious coffee!
I RECOMMEND this cafe to anyone who has not visited it yet!!!

A wonderful place in the city center, delicious main dishes and the most delicate cakes - cheesecake melts in your mouth, Napoleon is large in size, with an optimal amount of cream and also very tasty.

Great cafe. Delicious food (Khinkali is awesome), great wine (take local, Uzbek), excellent evening program (vocals and instruments at the highest level), good location - you can walk before and after meals :), the price tag is affordable. I definitely recommend it.

We were a family. It's a great place, the price is good. Everything is very tasty - the rating really matches. I highly recommend khachapuri, steaks, wine. The chefs are great! The children are full, they ate with pleasure! After a long trip to Uzbekistan, we remember this institution as the best of all where we were. I definitely recommend it.

This is a European restaurant, there are no national dishes here. There are pizza, pasta, burgers, salads, first and second courses, Georgian pastries. There are a lot of desserts and a rich assortment of ice cream.
Very tasty dishes, a large assortment. They cook very quickly. Friendly and courteous staff. The waiter Rustam was very kind and suggested very tasty dishes on the menu.

Sogdiana Cafe is definitely worth a visit when visiting Samarkand
If you are tired of national food and want European cuisine, you are welcome here.
Very cozy room - there are places both outside and inside with air conditioning.
There are greenery, flowers, fountains, birds all around.
Excellent service (there was a small incident and the waiter settled everything without question and brought a compliment) no gold interior and beautiful dishes.
There is beer, wine and other alcohol.
The portions are sufficient.
One of the most delicious pizzas I've ever eaten, even in Italy.
We ordered pizza bresaola (medium), Italian salad, caprice, sorrel soup, pistachio ice cream is just bombic. The chef is a master of his craft! Such a kitchen is rarely found anywhere.
You can just go in and buy delicious ice cream and desserts.
The pianist has been playing very pleasant music on the piano since 18 o'clock.
The atmosphere of the cafe is great, everything is intelligent, tasteful and delicious! And it works around the clock

We have been here as a family twice. The first time everything was fast, delicious, the staff was certainly not the most responsive, but there was an administrator who walked around everything. When we went in for the second time, two weeks ago, it was already much worse: we went in and stood waiting for attention and information on free tables for 5 minutes. We waited, sat down, and waited another 10 minutes for the menu, watching as 2 waiters rearranged something on the table of the guests who came later than us. The food was brought faster, the waiter was kind of confused. The food is delicious, the khinkali is very decent, although the dough is a little thick. There is a very bad cheese in khachapuri in Adjarian, it is not possible to mix it with an egg. Steaks are delicious, tea in teapots heated by candles) mulled wine for an amateur

Of all the places in the city, I consider it absolutely the best in terms of the quality of service, taste of dishes and location. Cheesecakes are excellent, with sour cream and jam, excellent sweet dishes, decent coffee, and most importantly, extremely properly prepared tiramisu, with coffee-soaked sponge sticks savoyardi, the perfect balance of taste.
