We had a vacation with my wife in September 2024. We arrived by car. Since the workload of the hotels in Pitsunda was full, I had to stay at this hotel. We can say that this was the only housing offer for our dates. Clarification! We lived in a room, because there are still separate houses on the territory. What can I say, the rest and the impressions of the honeymoon are completely ruined, although we visit Abkhazia every year, for many years this has never happened. So about the hotel itself and the room. Positive: good location, comfort type room, bathroom and shower in the room, air conditioning, refrigerator, tricolor TV, WiFi. And now about the cons: the toilet tank does not dial periodically, you have to disassemble and adjust yourself, and this is not a problem of this room, other residents had a similar situation, the air conditioner is running on its last legs, the refrigerator is screaming like crazy that the walls are shaking, beds with mattresses are generally a separate topic, the creak is such that on the next the street can be heard. Wifi is either not available due to non-payment, or it is, but it doesn't seem to be there, because the speed is such that the turtle will seem like a meteor. There is no parking for cars. The room rate is 4500 per day. But all this is nothing compared to the administrator Larisa, who fully corresponds to her animal consonant with the name, who does not even imagine what it is like to work as a hotel administrator. He can't organize anything. In addition to the constant repairs of the toilet tank, get ready to take out the garbage on your own, because it is very difficult for her, I am generally silent about changing the linen and cleaning the room. The attitude towards the guests is also no. She believes that her job is only to show the room and collect money from the guests, as well as to evict the guests shouting "Your time is up." In a word, the Ryazan habalka. Let me remind you that in Abkhazia, namely in Pitsunda, we have been visiting every year for many years, we have lived in different hotels both on Gochua Street and on Cypress Alley and, accordingly, there is something to compare it with. And the price is not an indicator at all. There are rooms both cheaper and better and with a completely different attitude. And literally the next day, there were empty seats. But since everything was already fully paid for, they did not move and strongly regretted it. Many people write about the negative attitude of Abkhazians towards Russians, so we have never had problems with them, even in shops, even in cafes, even in hotels. I would like to wish the owners of this hotel, when hiring people as administrators, to look closely at them, to be more picky about people, because incompetence is the enemy of development and good attitude. I lowered my rating only because of the administrator. The other disadvantages are not so important, because people do not come to rest in the room. We love Abkhazia very much and we will definitely come again, but not to this hotel.
We rested from 07/21/2023 to 07/28/2023. This is the second time we have been on vacation in Sofia. A very comfortable mini-hotel with a large well-maintained territory. The location of the hotel is perfect, everything is within walking distance. To the sea, 5 minutes on foot through a pine forest with squirrels. The room is clean, cozy with a balcony, there is a large TV, air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle, hairdryer. A well-maintained area with swings and a summer kitchen, which has everything you need. We will definitely come back to you.
P. S. Special thanks to Lyubov for the hospitality and pleasant attitude❤
A cozy and homely place. Good location, shops, cafes, market and the sea are within walking distance. Beautiful air. A friendly hostess. We will definitely come back.
