Holy Cross Cathedral (formerly Boriso-Gleb Church), built in 1869. The church was closed after the revolution. It was reopened in 1941 and for a long time remained the only functioning church in the city. In 1986, the church was renamed the Holy Cross Cathedral. Interesting architecture with a combination of classical, Byzantine and Russian styles. It is located almost in the very center, but away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets.
In the city limits. There is a market nearby, but thanks to the elevation it is quiet. I've been to baptisms many times. Everything was going well. A beautiful church inside. There is nothing to add.
