A great place!!! A must-visit!!! Very beautiful. The beautiful architecture of the Cathedral. It is very large and majestic, rising to the sky. This Cathedral is visible from anywhere in Tbilisi. A very large, beautiful, green area, one feels calm and peaceful. There is a magnificent view of Tbilisi from the square near the Cathedral. I was on Saturday, at about 17:00, a service was held in the Cathedral. Loudspeakers are installed on the territory of the Cathedral and the entire service can be heard on the street. An amazing place!
Incredible strength and power can be felt from the place.
I have always seen this temple from afar and the view was fascinating, but the energy around the temple and inside is simply incredible!
There's a vibe inside. Power, love, comfort, scale. I was in the evening and got to the evening service, and it was wow!
There are many beautiful icons and installations. Thanks to the city for this place!)

Tsiminda Sameba ("Holy Trinity") is the second cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church after Svetitskhoveli, located on the hill of St. Elijah (left bank of the Kura) in Tbilisi, on the site of the Khodji-Vank monastery of the 17th century. There are 10 thrones in the cathedral, the lower temple is dedicated to the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, there is a belfry and three temples: in honor of the prophet Elijah, in honor of the Holy Spirit (there is a cruciform baptismal pool), in honor of the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God above the gates of the monastery (services for the deaf and dumb are held there), the total height of the cathedral with the underground floor is more than 100 meters.

Georgia has made an impression of a country with a large number of believers. This cathedral is the largest in the country. It was built relatively recently, at the end of the existence of the USSR, in 1989 the idea of its construction appeared, and it was opened in 2000.
The cathedral has become an architectural dominant and is visible from most of the city.

A large modern temple. A peaceful place and a beautiful view of the city. There is a park area where you can sit on a bench and relax. The downside is frankly obsessive beggars who come up and brazenly start asking for money, what's inside the temple, what's outside.

Tsminda Sameba or "Holy Trinity" is the second cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church after Svetitskhoveli, which is located in Tbilisi, on the hill of St. Elijah.
The scale of the Cathedral of Tsminda Sameba is truly amazing. Its height exceeds 100 meters, while the height of the cross alone is 7.5 meters. The cathedral's area exceeds 5,000 square meters. Plus, the temple stands on a hill, so it is visible from anywhere in Tbilisi.
The temple houses several very valuable icons, one of which is the “Hope of Georgia". You can look at the sixth photo. The icon is very large and made of gold and precious stones in the ancient technique of minankari art.
This huge and bright temple reminds me more of a museum. There are a lot of tourists, everyone is taking pictures, there was a group with a guide. And this is understandable - the Holy Trinity is the main attraction of Tbilisi.
And for Georgians, Tsminda Sameba is not just a pro-Orthodox temple, but a true symbol of the nation and the spiritual strength of its people.

The cathedral stands on the hill of St. Elijah and is visible from many points of the capital. At night, the temple is illuminated by spotlights, which gives it a special solemnity.
The territory is well maintained, clean and tidy. Holy Trinity Cathedral is the best place I've ever been! It's easy to breathe and think here. Near the cathedral there is a park with recreation areas and a small pond.

In general, Georgians are the most faithful Christians, since Georgians believe we have to learn this, I'm not saying that we are not like that, but when I saw one girl of 6-7 years old (a schoolgirl) walking along Rustaveli Avenue past the temple, she stopped, turned to the temple, crossed herself three times, bowed and went on. A very soulful place! The temple was built recently, but it looks very harmonious and causes a rush of positive emotions. There are many chapels. In them, ordinary parishioners conduct funeral rites, possibly others. It has two floors. Both are magnificent churches. The decoration is beautiful, but it does not overwhelm with luxury. There are sincerely many believers and they always visit. Even from afar, taxi drivers cross themselves when they see this building. The attitude is very respectful.

The most beautiful place. The new Cathedral of Georgia.It was built in 2004. There is a huge territory, inside the cathedral there is a main temple and a lower temple. They went everywhere, because the doors were open. The icons in the temple are mostly modern, but there are also early ones. Services are being held, bells are ringing. In the evening, the whole area is very beautifully illuminated. I recommend a visit. There is paid parking near the temple, the valet collects money. There is a cafe on the territory of the cathedral and nearby (it's a bit expensive there). Admission is free.
