Beautiful place, new modern benches, several 'historical' instillations (not very true ones), illustrated at night.
A lot of young local people are really rude, but not all.

The observation deck itself is excellent. The view of St. Sophia Cathedral is magnificent. But I agree with other commentators that, from the point of view of tourist sites, this bank of the Dvina is more interesting for the sake of views of the opposite.

It is impossible to overestimate all that has been done in recent years by the team of Igor Ivanovich Markovich: hundreds of kilometers of roads of the city and the district have been restored, hundreds of houses in which major repairs are carried out annually, tens of thousands of square meters of primary housing construction have been commissioned for satisfied citizens who received the long-awaited keys to their first and new apartments, a completely new bridge has been built in the city center, the bridge to the Airfield microdistrict, the Palace of Officers, having been reborn from the ruins, it has regained its former greatness, as well as the historical ensemble of the Upper Castle, the Spartak stadium has been completely restored, the healthcare sector is receiving a new breath, constantly replenishing with modern medical equipment, renovating hospitals, polyclinics, FAPs, educating young personnel and stimulating experienced employees, the same applies to the education system, as well as the construction and The project to improve the park of the 50th anniversary of Soviet power seemed simply incredible and impracticable, and today the residents and guests of the city do not cease to admire not just its modification, but an absolutely new solution to its perfect landscape architecture. Of course, there is still a lot to implement, to follow the planned plans and superplans. Personally, on behalf of myself and my family, I would like to thank the current leadership of the city for its selfless service to our simple, human expectations. Thanks!
