The official start of the Lycian Trail is located near the village of Oludeniz, and the finish is in the village of Geikbairi near Antalya. You can get on the route anywhere.
The section from Oludeniz to the observation deck is within the power of anyone. The ascent is smooth, you can ride the SUV almost to the end, you can use a wheelchair (you need large wheels). The trail is incredibly scenic with stunning views. Better at sunset.
Bottom line: Lycian trail – Oludeniz (up to the observation deck).
1️⃣ Training level - easy.
2️⃣ The climb is a smooth 75 m .
3️⃣ The length to the observation deck is 3 km (one way).
Be sure to visit this place.
Even if you are traveling alone, go quietly.
The next stop is after the lift if you are driving from the bottom of oludeniz, then go right. There will be asphalt or paving stones in places first. You will reach the start/finish of the Lycian trail and in another 15 minutes you will be there. The road is gravel, it's easy to walk, even in sandals. The place is popular, you will definitely not be alone at sunset.
After sunset, it is better to stomp back as soon as possible, as it gets dark quickly.
If you meet wild boars at the trash, just walk past. They don't need you, you don't need them either.
Beautiful views, the riot of colors of nature inspires even in the "off season". An interesting route with winding trails uphill, good as physical. It's both a load and an offload for the mind.
