Yes, I would like to dedicate a hotel review to this hotel. I chose it according to its cost and appearance. I'll start from the beginning: the hotel is on a mountain (high and steep), it's quite difficult to get there without a car. As much as I love walking, but it's just a test. The Slide is very Steep. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from Sukhumi highway. The hotel itself, I think, has been restored, it can be seen that the corridors of the old plan are very large. Well, the repair was done normally. The room could use a redecoration. There is a small refrigerator, kettle, plates, cups. The room is quite spacious. The wardrobe is large (old), two chairs, a table, beds, we also had a sofa. The TV is working. There is Wi-Fi. The bathroom is a bit old, the towels are average. There is a restaurant on the territory of the cafe, the portions are large, the food is good. The price tag is average, not a canteen, but the food is tastier. The pool is large, there is a lounge area. Novoafonsky Monastery is 5 minutes away. The views behind it are very beautiful. It is difficult to get to the store, pharmacy, also 20-30 minutes. The staff is friendly, responsive, all young., well done. There is a free shuttle service to the beach twice.

We are having a family vacation from 6.07 to 07/16/12.g. The beautiful location of the hotel, quiet and peaceful atmosphere on the territory. That's where the advantages end. It's a long way to the sea. If you can go down at a convenient time, then it is difficult to climb constantly uphill, especially in the heat. The declared transfer to the sea, then arrives, then leaves ahead of time or does not arrive at all. Administrators do not respond to all comments. There are large numbers of ants in the rooms, which climb into bags, on tables and on the bed. When contacting the reception, they heard the phrase on duty that insect repellent was ordered. The air conditioner does not really work (it does not turn off from the remote control, the temperature is always 26), we are waiting for the master for the sixth day. The food in the dining room is very monotonous (we took breakfasts, lunches and dinners). It's summer time, but there are no fresh vegetables. Of the fruits, only apples and sometimes bananas, although it's peach season. As a result, we will not come here anymore and I do not want to recommend this hotel at all

We are resting in this hotel now - 09/18/2022. Thank God that we stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. And no more!!! The location of the hotel, in my opinion, is not very good. From "+": silence, fresh air, not a bad area. Transfer to the sea. The walking descent to the sea along the "path of sinners" is really short, although it is slippery in places, not for active descent. Good breakfast buffet style (please do not compare with Turkey). They only took breakfast. The on-site cafe, in my opinion, operates at inflated prices. The pool is on site, heated, clean, moderately chlorinated. Now about the disadvantages of this hotel. You don't need to believe about 600 m. It's further to the sea, about half. And it's downhill. The return trip uphill on foot will not please you, especially at +33, as it is now. From the room stock, comfort with a balcony overlooking the sea is the most successful option. And don't look at a la "wooden cottages" - this is the worst choice you can make. The houses are not ventilated, from the word at all. The air conditioner at +33 cannot cope. As a result: in the heat in this "wooden shed" there is a greenhouse, in the cold, respectively, a refrigerator. The price category of these rooms is completely unclear. To requests to move to a room of a cheaper category, the administrator's answer is one - there are no rooms. I will not note the interest of the girls at the "reception" to somehow solve your problems. Although the rooms are vacated regularly. Beach towels are paid, the price depends on how many times you want to change them)). New Athos is a picturesque town with many beautiful places to visit on your own. But if you don't want to spoil the experience, don't stay at this hotel. Will we return to Abkhazia – yes, but not to this hotel! I hope my review will be useful to someone.

A very convenient place. It is located near the walls of the monastery. There is peace and quiet around, a lot of greenery. The heated swimming pool brought special joy. Thank you for the attention and responsiveness of the staff and timely good cleaning. The breakfasts are edible, but it's better to take coffee in a cafe.

We stayed with my wife from 4 to 12 Oct.21. A great relaxing holiday. The car is in the parking lot, the breakfast is hearty and nutritious.You swim in the pool against the background of the domes of the monastery and the fortress . The staff is helpful and friendly. Guided tours can be purchased directly at the hotel, and you will be picked up right at the hotel and brought here. New Athos Is A Miracle!!! Thank you SO MUCH to the staff for the wonderful service!!! Good health to all of them and peace!!!

We were with my family in May . We specially chose a hotel with a heated swimming pool. The pool is large and clean. But I can say that there were not many people. There are plenty of sun beds around the pool, there are hammocks. In general, it's not bad.
Breakfasts, for my taste, are not very good. You won't find variety here, especially since it's not a buffet. But for 7 days the porridge (I only eat it on vacation) has never been repeated.
The service is not up to par, but the staff is very friendly and will do everything that depends on them.
The renovation was on the territory of the hotel, it did not bother, but after the renovation, as I understand it, it will be cooler, it looks like they are building something like a summer cafe there.
The hotel is located on a mountain-we had a view of the sea. Cool! But walking up the mountain is still a workout.
In general, I liked it. And I think we'll come back, we haven't been everywhere, we left it for the next time.

We went to Abkhazia with a young man in July 2022, 44 thousand were given for a double room for 10 days without food.
I really liked the location, despite the fact that the hotel is located on a mountain and every time you have to climb if you decide to go out for a walk in the city. The territory is not noisy, the repair is not bad in principle, but there are shortcomings.
The mattress on the bed was very upset, the springs were VERY strongly felt... And water was always flowing out of the toilet bowl....due to the fact that there is no extractor hood in the toilet / bathroom, after the shower I had to leave the door open and enjoy the sound of running water in the toilet bowl... They asked the reception to fix it 3-4 times, to which the answer was "we will fix everything", they did not do it in 10 days. In principle, if you want to go to Abkhazia, but there are not very many funds, then you can stay at this hotel. Excursions are also offered, a monastery is located 3 minutes from the hotel, you can walk to Stalin's dacha, the waterfall and the New Athos caves.

Vitaly, we had a family vacation (my wife, my son and I are 14 years old) from July 6 to July 19, 2021. I liked everything very much, a wonderful place, good conditions, excellent staff. Special thanks to the staff of the canteen - everything was very tasty, homely. The location of the hotel itself is very convenient. It is quiet at night, as it is not in the city center, but all the sights are within walking distance. We recommend it to families with children and those who like a comfortable stay

Greetings!!!
We rested here for the second year, in 2022 in the second half of June.
We purposefully came to this hotel. In the mountains, at Stalin's guarded dacha, the current dacha of the President of Abkhazia.
The fact that it is far from the sea is not a minus but a huge plus, fewer people, tourists, etc. silence and gorgeous views, well, you can swim at least at 5 am in the heated pool (well, not like in the bathtub, refreshing Basik, also with backlight - at night it is the most time to swim before going to bed).
A great innovation with food, a buffet is a great solution, even if the choice is not like in Turkey, but everything is delicious and yes we are talking about a small hotel!!!)
Staff, helpful, friendly people!!!
Rooms- I was in several (got to know the guests, talked, looked at different options). You can choose for every taste, you lived in houses yourself - a great option - everything is whole, working, clean. TV, air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle, and nothing else is needed, just slept in fact.
They constantly tried to clean up and change the bed, but they became more frequent, as a result, they had to refuse a couple of times in 12 days, well, they just didn't want to come into the room.
The territory is very beautiful, next to the monastery, and the huge territory of Stalin's dacha. There is definitely somewhere to take a walk in the evening, in peace and quiet. Definitely not for party people ....
Barbecue places, I counted 4 or 5 barbecues with covered tents and all at once were never occupied.
The bar, the kitchen at the hotel- there is everything, beer, wine, both local and familiar European cuisine. Pizza with Abkhazian cheese is generally a fire.
The sea is great here.
P.S.
There are some moments that are upsetting and this applies to guests who are offered Abkhazia instead of Turkey and other countries.
So, do not compare, Abkhazia is a place where you come as home, but not to a place where everyone around you should grovel!
Tourists who are spoiled by Turkey are too much, but they want, you need to understand the expectations, or if you want super service, go to other places in the tridoroga.

Clean area with a large Parking lot. The rooms are pleasant. Cool swimming pool, gazebos and barbecue area. It's a long walk to the sea, but there is something to see along the way, while there is a transfer to the sea twice a day.

We had a rest in Abkhazia at the Park Hotel near the Monastery from August 14th to 20th. We would like to express our gratitude to the head of the hotel, administrators and staff for a pleasant stay, hospitality, polite and attentive attitude to vacationers. The wonderful and amazing location of the hotel!Truly a blessed land!The territory of the hotel is very clean and quiet, the beauty and picturesqueness of nature amazes with its splendor, a walk to the sea (10-15 minutes) is a pleasure!During the trip, we visited other cities of Abkhazia, but it is so cozy and sincere only in New Athos.We hope to meet again in this blessed land!!We wish good luck, peace and prosperity to the hotel!

Good afternoon! We rested in this wonderful place in July 2022. I decided to write a review because perhaps the information will be useful to many. And now about everything in a little bit. I have something to compare with, including resorts in Europe, but you need to understand that this is still Abkhazia with its own specific landscape. It had never been there before and the main goal was to live in a beautiful, green and quiet place. As for the service, I do not discuss it, although for the money that we spent, I am happy with it. :). We were immediately settled in a clean, new, cozy room with all amenities. (TV, air conditioner, kettle with cups, Internet, refrigerator) everything worked like clockwork. The room is large, clean with a huge shower room. Our room had no balcony with a view of the monastery (this was initially confusing, but there were no others). But we didn't need a balcony either. A huge window, outside the window there is a grate on which you can dry clothes with paper clips in addition. As for the food, we took snacks and dinners. They always ate too much. Yes, the food is simple, but the porridges that were in the morning were never repeated. For dinner, as a rule, there are always two types of meat, side dishes. But for the sake of truth, I personally did not have enough fresh vegetables. I don't remember anything except sliced cabbage. There is no fruit from the word at all. But in a good kitchen test! Everything is fresh, simple, but homemade. And I advise you not to be late for dinner, since there was not enough food for the last, at least the entire assortment.
Territory: There are no words! The beauty is extraordinary, and I came for it :). Cypresses, tangerine and olive trees, palm trees and other vegetation are simply fascinating. The birdsong, silence and delicious smells completely make you fall in love with this place. There is a clean, large heated pool on the territory, but I am a lover of the sea, so I was in it 2 times while the weather was not pleasant.
How to get to the sea: there are at least 4 options. On foot along the sinners' path, descent takes 10 minutes, ascent takes 20 minutes, but it's hard.; on foot along the road where cars drive up to the hotel 1.5 km. it's not hard to walk, but it takes a long time; option 3: a minibus that goes from the hotel to the sea and back 2 times a day (they didn't ride it, since it's not convenient for all its departures and arrivals! the hotel administrators should still work on this. Option 4, which we used, is going down and up in our own car. Hooray, we had it. The territory of the hotel is guarded, which is great because they didn't worry about the car. Next to the hotel there is a wonderful New Athos Monastery where we went to the service on Sunday and the territory of the former Salina cottage, surrounded by greenery.
The cafe at the hotel is not really...since the prices are higher and with a choice of ambush. Of the 8 salads on the menu, it was possible to order 2. Dishes from mongala only after 18:00. There are no soups for lunch. This is the poet's name for the weak zone, which we could bring a good income if it was properly organized. But down under the mountain we found a couple of places where we were very well fed at lunch. Thank you very much to the girls at the reception (Nicole met us at check-in, and Sariya for her help in choosing a hotel). They always helped and advised me in any way they could. In general, we are satisfied with both the hotel and the place of residence (we rested with my husband for 11 days) . We plan to return next year. I give a rating of "5" with minor flaws that did not affect my impression of this place.

Excellent location (600m from the sea, on the mountainside between the monastery and Stalin's dacha): away from the coastal bustle and noise, but at the same time, it is not boring: there is a private cafe with music and gazebos, a large swimming pool, a playground. Great view of the sea and mountains. The rooms are large (you can easily install an additional 2 beds). The food is good: tasty and healthy, at first the portions seemed small, but they are quite nutritious and we always left the dining room empty. Conditions: board, half board, breakfast or no meals at all.
To the sea is a 10-minute walk along the paved sidewalk with cypresses (back is a 15-minute walk). There is a shuttle service: a minibus runs constantly (hotel - beach - hotel), but we walked all the time (... great warm-up).
Of the cons:
- the pillows are small;
- few towels (for feet - 1 piece. per room is allowed), and the room is cleaned 1 time in 3 days
- the mattress pad is constantly sliding, and without it - springs in the side
- there is no handrail in the pool around the perimeter - there is nothing to hold on to (especially for children) and cleaning is done with vacationers (it is not very comfortable to relax when others work next to you... and even with a petrol boost ...)
In general, in my opinion, this is one of the best hotels in New Athos

We had a rest in July 2021, rented a separate house. The interior is furnished as in the rooms, everything you need is there: air conditioning,TV,kettle,dishes,refrigerator,hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers,soap accessories. Cleaning and linen change in 3 days. The territory is cozy, there is a swimming pool with lighting, which is being looked after. There are modern gazebos, also pretty. There is a mini-cafe with pleasant music, they cook delicious shish kebabs especially. Near the New Athos Temple and Stalin's cottage, go further, you will get to all the sights of the city. The staff pays attention to your requests. The only drawback is the long road to the sea, and because the hotel is located on a mountain, you will go back uphill, it takes 20 minutes to walk. But! From the hotel, its own shuttle service (such as a minibus) takes vacationers to the sea and back 2 times a day with a cool driver San Sanych.
The atmosphere is generally calm and friendly. The nature and air of Abkhazia is fascinating as always. Be sure to try smoked trout and cheese.

The hotel is located away from the noisy road, the territory is always very quiet and peaceful. It takes 15-20 minutes to get to the sea downhill, and a little longer to get back. Near the hotel there are some of the most famous sights that must be visited in Abkhazia — Stalin's dacha, the New Athos Monastery, the New Athos caves, the abandoned station of Ptsyrkha.
The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery of palm trees, cypresses and other trees. The territory is very spacious, there is a place to walk or sit and relax.
The food in the dining room is very tasty. We waited impatiently every day to see what would be served. So delicious, simple and homely)))
And, of course, the staff should be noted. At the reception, in the dining room, the staff on site, the maids, the bus driver — all very friendly and always ready to help! We have been vacationing since June 23rd. The hotel is on a huge Mountain!!!! When booking, they said a small hill. Type in the search engine the path of sinners-this is the only way to the hotel!!!!! The transfer to the sea lives its own separate life. We've lost a lot of time waiting for 11 days. 5 times he never arrived. Women in retirement age climbed for 1.5 hours!!!!!! The administrators don't know where the driver is at all!! And the cherry on the cake is a wonderful guy who works in the cafe of the hotel. He stoned dogs right in front of the children. My daughter still can't move away. The receptionist replied to this - and this guy works here. And this apparently gives him every reason to mutilate animals.

A converted building of a boarding house or providing state land for a hotel. The surrounding area is very beautiful, the staff is friendly and the view is great. Unfortunately, everything has been under construction for several years... and there are no glimpses of the end. There is a swimming pool that should be heated, but so far there is only water and a cemetery of insects. The equipment of the rooms has been left since the Soviet Union... Everything seems to be decent, but very scoop... The cottages on the territory are also tin, wooden frame without Windows and with zero ventilation... Among the advantages is the location of the complex, a cool dining room, parking, cleanliness and staff work. The price is objectively too high.

I had a rest at the end of June - beginning of July 2021. I really liked it! Perhaps the quietest and most cozy corner in New Athos. Very clean air: 100 meters high, surrounded by eucalyptus trees, cypresses and lots of greenery. Far from the road and restaurants. I slept with an open balcony at night!
The city center is all nearby! And the sea, and shops and attractions.
The living conditions are excellent: the rooms are large, the toilet and shower are private, hot water is always available, refrigerator, kettle, TV, Wi-Fi. The cleaning is done regularly, the bed is fresh.
The territory is carefully maintained, repaired and completed. I was pleasantly surprised by the new pool of about 8 by 12.5 m, quite in the Turkish style.
The dining room has a balanced three meals a day, friendly staff.
A small cafe under eucalyptus trees with pleasant music is open until 23 and does not interfere with sleep.
You can go down to the beach twice a day and climb with San Sanych by minibus, but I always walked. Walking slowly to the beach for 15-20 minutes along the cypress alley is a very pleasant route.
Yes, of course, I had to climb the hill at least twice a day, but my body perceived this exercise as a pleasure, and after a week I was already making this journey with ease.

We returned two days ago and I would like to share it with those who are considering this hotel.I don't know.Where do good reviews come from?the only thing.what I liked.this is the location.In the mountains.the air in the territory is very clean.but it's worth going beyond the limit.to the territory of the New Athos Monastery.you immediately inhale the exhaust of a tansport.bringing tourists from morning to evening.The crowd.It's smoky.you can't get through, The views are beautiful, next to Stalin's cottage, a waterfall., the cell of the apostle, it is very interesting and picturesque.The hotel's pool is not bad.There are not many people.I didn't like the dining room at all.It was a dark room, the windows were blocked with a cloth, I didn't want to go there at all.Long wooden tables and wooden benches, very uncomfortable.The food is monotonous.We have breakfast and dinner.There are two workers. the plates empty quickly, they put them on, but somehow reluctantly.Then there is no coffee, then there is no sugar, we did not buy it...And you will come in 15 minutes.there is nothing at all before the end.If you make it, you won't stay hungry.of course.Everything is cold.The rooms are so-so.you can live.The cleaning is not very good, towels and bed are changed every three days..As it was raining, there was no place to dry towels, I had to use raw ones, because it was not supposed to be changed, even on request.It is difficult to get information about the return flight at the reception, they do not know anything.And then it turns out from her guide that she has been at the reception for a long time.I still didn't understand, did they really not know or were they just being mean?In general, I have one conclusion-I will never return to this hotel again and I will not recommend it to anyone.Although, perhaps, in other hotels it is even worse, because this one is expensive.

We rested at this hotel on 07/25/30.07. If you want to get a bad impression of Abkhazia and the service, then you are here. We were shortchanged by almost 15,000, settled in another room much worse and lower in price due to some technical problems, all this was on the very first day and no one even apologized to us for all this. If you want to eat in their cafe, then be prepared for the fact that many of the dishes that are on the menu are simply not there. Nobody cares about you. We had to remind them to clean the room. And it all cost us more than 50,000. The so-called buffet is porridge, there are a couple more dishes to choose from and tea or coffee to choose from, and that's it.

It is located right on the territory of the state dacha of I. Stalin - 100 m to the building of the dacha and 100 m to the monastery. Several buildings, a dining room, a swimming pool. Gazebos, cafes, shuttle to the sea. Against the background of the general lack of service everywhere, the hotel is quite good. The rooms are not new, but they are clean. The staff is friendly enough. And, of course, the New Athos monastery itself, a cave and a waterfall, beaches, shops and restaurants.

Upon check-in, we were charged more money than promised. After that, when we began to figure it out, gritting our teeth, the money was returned. We booked two rooms in separate cabins. As a result, one house was occupied and we were put in a regular room in a hotel building. But that's not all) The room smelled eerily of sewage. Let's go back to the waiting room. With the fight, we were moved to a normal room. And only the next day they were already settled in the promised separate house.
Cleaning was carried out only after you come and tell the receptionist. If you don't come, you need to clean the room yourself))
It seems that the staff is not suited to work in the service sector 😄
It is very difficult to walk 15 minutes from the sea to the hotel in a rather steep climb.
There is a bus twice a day. But he doesn't really inspire confidence with his driving style in mountainous terrain.
On the plus side, a great pool. A passable buffet. And the beauty of the area around.

It stands on a huge mountain!!!! it says that 600m to the sea, in fact about 2km.
Going down and up the path of sinners is very difficult + there are shops and a lot of people on the path, it's not crowded. The cafe on the territory is terrible, from the entire menu they offer almost 2 dishes a day and say "today we have only this".
The views and the pool are of course great. But I definitely won't come here again

The rooms are clean, cozy, the houses are generally on fire. A change of linen, everything is pure white, well done.
The cafe has its own, they cook perfectly, they try to create comfort and warmth.

one even approached us, it was impossible to call a doctor for the child, the owner was indifferent to the fact that our child was very ill, did not make any efforts to help the child, although we asked very much to call a doctor, the temperature was high, the ambulance did not arrive to the child, the husband went and looked for chicken, so that the child could cook chicken broth after the illness, he could not eat anything else, money for the period of illness, since we did not eat in the dining room these days, we did not want to return, there was a very unpleasant feeling. Aunt Nina, a simple hotel employee, turned out to be the most humane, thanks to her.

For the first time in our lives we saw fireflies, the child was catching them))About the hotel: room cleaning on -4 , once every three days (toiletI had to ask for paper a couple of times to be brought, for three people - two sets of towels, even if the child is 9 years old, he needs to be separated), there is a noticeable shortage of a chair in the room! Please pay attention to the management! We lived in the main building, quiet, beautiful view , pleasant and responsive staff. The food in the dining room is homemade, without frills, the disadvantage for me is when you come, and the table is all covered in crumbs, since they ate there before you, and no one wiped it. And so it is every time, obviously due to the lack of maintenance personnel, who are sewn up and do not have time. And also cutlery - which require replacement, uncomfortable forks. The location is great, although on the mountain, the pool is clean and warm. The tour was taken from Apsua tour-everything is fine!

I liked it · Completely separate house, panoramic Windows. The pool is nearby.
I did not like it · If it is light outside, but it is dark in the toilet with a bathtub, cracks are visible.
A gap near the bed, next to the windows. I had to close it.
There is no sound insulation at all, you can hear people walking in the next house. The edging of the bed is metal, in which the mattress lies, reliably, but inconveniently.
The breakfasts are not hearty.

The hotel is pleasant. But! It's far from the sea, there is a transfer, but in the evening I want to take a walk, but I have to go down, well, and then up the path of sinners. The staff is very nice and friendly. There are very good girls in the dining room, they cook delicious food. The biggest plus is the pool. It's just super! Warm, clean. I didn't like the bungalow, the audibility is excellent, you can hear all the conversations from the nearby gazebos. The room cools down at night and it is very cold. Ants are in the room, they have a straight path laid, as well as various other insects come in. An ambiguous impression of the hotel.

The food in the canteens is even tastier.
The beach is very far away. There is a transfer to the beach, but you need to adjust the time and there may not be enough space. There is no service as such. The rooms are not equipped as they should be. We didn't have a single shelf in our shower to put shampoo on.
