The square in the old center of Semey was opened in 1985 for the 40th anniversary of the Victory Day. The square is well maintained and there is an eternal flame in it. The composition of the monuments "The dying soldier and the victory flying to him!" in Soviet times, three cascade fountains added beauty, now they are no longer fully working (it's a pity). There are benches, you can walk with the children, feed the pigeons and get some air.
