Just a usual park. The benefit is that it has a lot of good cafes and restaurants around it. Nice that it has a good amount of trees even tho it’s in center and trees are being chopped right and left
Monument to the Great Komitas, interesting forms of benches in the form of harps, as well as lanterns. The park is green, and next to the conservatory, if you catch an hour, it's fashionable to hear young talents and future professionals playing various musical instruments under the windows.
In the center of Yerevan around the Opera House there are cozy squares with various art objects, monuments to famous Armenians: composer Komitas, artist Martiros Saryan, writer William Saroyan. You can take a very soulful walk along the shady alleys, sit in a cafe and drink a cup of real coffee, admire sculptures in different parts of the park and paintings by contemporary artists near the monument to Martiros Saryan. It is taken out around the clock. The visit is free.
Guides take people here, but the monument is not reflected on the map.
Some poet, a hero of Armenia, apparently an emigrant, is sitting on a tree without Roots, which has some kind of symbolism
Nothing is clear without a guided tour (((
Visually, the sculpture is so-so
A beautiful square, on weekends local artists sell wonderful paintings here. Next to the square there are two very interesting catering points, with affordable prices and delicious food.
