The customer service is excellent, there is no pretension here, but the prices are certainly too high in other respects, as well as the requirements for visitors. Being on the beach, a person cannot visit a cafe on the beach, this was a novelty for me. Comparing with other resorts where more attention is paid not to how a person is dressed, but to how much he is willing to spend.

Awesome place! A picturesque rock, for those who like to observe the underwater world, is just a fairy tale. The sea is the purest! Take the sap, you won't regret it - a great location for a photo. When stepping on a rock, you need to be very careful not to cut yourself. You can swim to the cliff yourself - not far from the shore.

This reef is a favorite place for snorkeling in Abkhazia. I first discovered it in 2010, when there were more rapans and crabs. Now that there are more tourists and all sorts of saps have appeared, only mussels remain on the rocks. But still, the underwater world is very interesting to watch: there are 3-4 species of fish swimming here, it happens that you get on large schools of fish.

Previously, this coast looked better - there were no unnecessary campsites, etc.
If people came for a long time, they just came with tents.

It's a very curious place. Quite by chance, in 2012-2013, we learned that there are reefs not far from the coast, which actually form this rock. From the shore, you can safely swim there without even having special skills (for the first time I swam there with an inflatable pillow) and after swimming, take a spectacular photo from the shore, as a person stands on the water. An interesting place.

On the outskirts of Pitsunda, there is a dilapidated Soviet-era fish factory. It has been abandoned for a long time because it is not profitable, so many fish are not caught here to pay off the work of an entire plant. It was built then "for show", and to demonstrate the full load, tons of fish were brought almost from the Far East.
Now "fish factory" is the name of the area of Pitsunda, which is famous for its beach. The beach is called "golden" and for good reason - it is almost all sandy, unlike the rest of the coast, strewn with pebbles. True, this sand is also small broken pebbles, but who cares about that.
But the main highlight of the "Golden Beach" is an underwater reef a hundred meters from the shore. You can swim to it and walk on its surface knee-deep in water. Be sure to bring a mask or goggles for swimming, because even at shallow depths you can see amazing pictures of the underwater world - the stone slopes and crevices of the reef are overgrown with algae and colonies of mussels, rapans and small crabs are found, and how many fish are circling around!
By the way, mussels can be harvested and cooked, which is often what the vacationers of the resort do. It turns out to be quite a delicacy. By the end of the season, it is not easy to find large mussels, all have already been eaten, but there are many smaller ones, so you will not stay without lunch!
