We booked the hotel based on reviews , not knowing the city well ( based on this , we were a little (a lot ) disappointed (
I do not want to offend the owners , they were warmly welcomed -they were fed dinner from the road , treated to wine -that 's it !
There is no sound insulation in the hotel at all!accordingly, there is no sleep either , the walls are thin, there is a hole in the door, which is why any footsteps of neighbors on wooden, creaking floors are just pain and lack of sleep (we were lucky that at the beginning of the season there were no small children in the hotel , otherwise it was even worse with audibility (there is no ventilation in the rooms at all., only the air conditioner saved , the window is curtained, accordingly, there is never daylight either (
The proximity of the sea is yes , three minutes away , BUT the beach is wild , without sunbeds and sewage flowing nearby 😭
There are a lot of dogs nearby that bark endlessly at night - again, everything is audible !
A sofa for a child is just sadism-an old , hard couch, it is impossible to sleep on it
Breakfast: the first day we had breakfast with milk soup - a flashback to kindergarten (then we moved out without breakfast (
It takes 15 minutes to walk to the equipped beach in the heat
Well, about the home environment - maybe someone really likes to come and live with one , friendly family ) but the process was unpleasant for us when we had to despair where we were and that everything was okay with us
. P.S.: as an allergic person, I was shocked that the hotel building was being skinned and painted in front of us, I almost suffocated from the smell of paint (

I was vacationing here for the first time. The first line. The sea is nearby. Briefly and to the point: The hostess is a wonderful person! She cooks homemade food with a soul. Breakfast is included in the payment, lunch and dinner separately, if desired. Everything is on time.
In addition, there is an opportunity to cook by yourself(!).Cleaning every day, change of towels, cleanliness. The room has a separate shower room. A large double bed plus a sofa bed, a refrigerator and a TV. And, most importantly, the air conditioner. Beautiful garden! Eating under a large canopy outside and it's great.
The beach is not to everyone's liking, it is large and pebbly. But everything is blocked by the purest ghostly water. There are many cafes on the shore. There are paid sun beds. And yes, in the morning you can hear the crowing of roosters and the barking of dogs, but it did not affect my nervous system!
Well, a little bit, I will briefly add: excursions to the mountains to the waterfall... This is something stunning! An amazing walk around the city.Gagra! New Athos impressed! And there are a lot of different excursions, it's a pity that we didn't have time to go everywhere. It's beautiful everywhere, there are lots of photos. Emotions are running high.

No world-class hotel has such friendliness as the Radiance of the Sun Hotel. Here you will be treated not just as people renting a room with all the amenities for a comfortable stay, but as real guests who were eagerly awaited. Humanity, good–naturedness, a smile, a great sense of humor, courtesy, efficiency - all these qualities are inherent in the people you stay with. The food is very tasty, homemade, and at the same time spoils with its variety, and most importantly, you will never be left hungry. The beach is within walking distance, depending on which one you choose: there is a wild beach, 2-3 minutes walk to it, next to it (cross the river over the bridge) there is a beach with sun loungers, umbrellas and cafes. And if you go the other way from the hotel, you can come to the Kate park beach, there is all of the above + sap rental, you can ride a banana and jump into the water from the bridge, which stands in the sea. In general, Gudauta has a calm and cozy atmosphere without fuss and a huge number of people, so if you are for such a vacation, then feel free to go to the guest house "Radiance of the Sun", you will remain only with positive emotions, I assure you. But if you want to go somewhere, the hostesses will help with the organization of the tour, it will not be difficult)

We just returned from vacation, lived in the guest house "Radiance of the Sun", we were completely delighted with the rest, we arrived in the evening, we were fed dinner for free, then we paid for lunches and dinners, they feed very tasty, the menu is different every day, they asked if it was possible to use a washing machine, Nala did not even take payment) if a question arises - they will definitely help. Very cozy atmosphere, it is as comfortable as possible, like at home))daily room cleaning, it was also very important that you can relax with a dog, there are a couple of swings in the garden, it's great to sit there in the evenings. A couple of minutes to the sea, we went on the recommendation of my sister, and I will recommend it to everyone))))

We rested with my husband in the Sunshine from July 8 to July 18, 2023. It is very convenient, the transfer took you from the railway station in Adler to the place. We immediately realized that the owners were waiting for us, first they fed us, treated us to homemade wine, and got acquainted. The room is quite spacious, clean bathroom, cleaned every day, bed linen was changed after 3 days. A very tasty and varied breakfast is included in the price. Lunch and dinner can be arranged on site. Everything is very homey and the portions are large. The guest house is located away from the center, which has become a huge plus for us in our vacation. Silence, clean air, birdsong! It takes 3-4 minutes to the sea at a calm pace, there are pebbles on the shore, we recommend taking suitable shoes. There are few people on the beach even on a day off. Another plus is that there are no catamarans, motorboats, bananas, etc. on the beach, there is also no navigation in this part of the beach. The water is clean and translucent. In general, we were one hundred percent satisfied with the rest. Mrazma, Naala and Tatiana, thank you so much for the pleasant atmosphere, cleanliness, comfort, intelligent and unobtrusive service, and truly homely care for each of us)

It's a very cozy place. The hostess of the Marble is a kind-hearted person. He greets vacationers as close relatives. Excellent well-appointed rooms with all amenities and air conditioning. There is a kitchen with everything you need. But the hostess cooks very tasty and not expensive. I highly recommend it.

We are not the first to come to Abkhazia, but it is in Gudauta that we have not been with an 11-month-old child more than once! I chose a place to stay based on reviews, and, perhaps for the first time, the reviews are completely true!
From the first messages from the hostess Nala, it was clear that I was communicating with a positive and kind person, asked how we were getting there, if we needed help with the transfer, answered all my questions.
Upon arrival, she greeted us with a radiant smile and asked if we wanted to eat. Literally in 10 minutes. A delicious lunch was waiting for us in the shade of the courtyard of the guest house. Every morning Marina carefully served breakfast, which, by the way, was included in the room rate.
The rooms are quite typical for Abkhazia, but each room has a hairdryer, a kettle, tea drinking utensils, a refrigerator with drinking water for tea. But, which is absolutely not typical for guest houses - the room was cleaned daily, the towels were replaced as soon as we asked. In fact, Tatiana changed our towels 3 or 4 times during the week of rest.
When rotavirus happened to our child with all the consequences - they replaced the bed without question, they refused to pay for the offer if necessary!
In the evening, the baby got worse - they took us to the hospital, helped, supported, shared the contacts of the pediatrician!
In general, Marina repeated several times - we are at home, we are not alone!
And indeed, there was a feeling of warmth and comfort throughout the entire vacation!
It's not the best vacation for my family, but it's definitely the best vacation home we've been to in Abkhazia!

a wonderful guest house with rooms where there is everything necessary for life, the main thing is air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle! I didn't use the TV, not before it, if the sea is a 3-minute walk away!) Very friendly hosts, tasty and inexpensive food, optional, 3 times a day🔥👌 At home, with love♥️ Everywhere is clean and cozy, there is a barbecue, a cooking area (if you want) food, all kinds of dishes, covered terrace, no rain, if anything! a garden with fruit trees, a lawn and swing benches, but most importantly-the warmth and warmth of the hearts of the hostess and her daughter😍🙏 I left with tears, I didn't want to part with them♥️ I really want to settle there and get a thrill from relaxing from the so-called wonders of civilization! We rested at the "Sunshine" in October. Lisa and her daughter Naala welcomed us as family. Lisa immediately offered breakfast (for free!). The house has a very cozy summer kitchen where you can cook yourself. But if you try what Lisa cooks, you definitely won't want to do anything else yourself! We ordered either lunch or dinner every day, and every time it was amazingly delicious! You can contact the housewives with any problem, they will listen, they will try to help. The house has a very beautiful garden with fruit trees: apple trees, persimmons, tangerines, kiwis, grapes grow everywhere. The sea is within walking distance. Holidays in Gudauta are for those who want peace and quiet. You will not find parties, bright showcases and modern service here. But the transparent sea, the beauty of the local nature, mountains, rivers, caves, waterfalls will definitely not leave you indifferent! The sea is close by 5 minutes on foot, the beach is simple, and if you need a more civilized beach with sun loungers and a toilet, then you need to walk 10 minutes away on foot. We went there and there, there are advantages everywhere.
The only thing is that Gudauta is a pretty quiet place, and there is no special entertainment there. If you like entertainment and hangouts, then it's better to go to some big city.

Breakfast 200 rubles (porridge, scrambled eggs, bread, butter, cheese, sausage, tea or coffee), lunch 400 rubles (salad, soup, second course, compote), dinner 300 rubles (meat or fish with side dish, tea or coffee, bread). The hostess of the hotel cooks. Simple and delicious, just like at home.

We recommend this wonderful cozy guest house to everyone! Very attentive, hospitable housewives, delicious homemade food (and in Abkhazia it is highly recommended to eat this way, and not in large sanatoriums or hotels with a public kitchen), a beautiful territory with a fruit-bearing garden, the cutest seals, cozy rooms. I was particularly pleased with the silence and the absence of crowds of vacationers, as in large cities.
