We were in Minsk in July 2024, we were unlucky with the weather, it was very rainy and cool, we decided to take a ride on the City Bus.
Positive:
- clean comfortable bus
- they talk about the sights, at least you have a general idea where it makes sense to go next and what to watch
- we were escaping from the weather on this bus :-)
Minuses:
- there are only a few flights a day! At 11.00, 13.30, 16.00 and 18.30. We set off at 13:30 from Kirova str., 1
- ONLY cash is accepted for payment
- the price is quite expensive 50 bel.rubles
My recommendations:
If you want to sit comfortably on the top floor of the bus, then take cash in advance and come 30 minutes in advance. before departure, take a queue and places

Of the 8 languages announced, there was a general tour in Russian through headphones. Headphones were also not given out. Instead of 1.40, the tour was an hour. When I asked why the tour was so short, they told me, well, if you want, sit inside the bus for the rest of the time on the bus. In general, for 50 rubles you get a boorish attitude and an hour of skiing.

I always use such bus tours in different countries. I also liked everything in Minsk, the tour is for 1.5 hours, and you can immediately see all the iconic places of the city, estimate the distances. But she took off the star for the musical accompaniment. The headphones were turned off and the broadcast was for the whole bus, after an hour I already had a headache from the harsh sounds, probably folk music.

I expected more. For 1,500 Russian rubles, you are wheeled around the city accompanied by a tape recording. But sometimes the bus lags behind, sometimes it is in too much of a hurry and does not always get there. There were no stops anywhere. Air conditioning is one name, in the heat I do not recommend the second floor for sure. If possible, it is better to choose something else. Walks 4 times a day, the schedule is in the photo. Unfortunately, the good idea of city tours of big cities has been completely ruined. Minus 1.5 hours of life and 50 bps thrown to the wind. A sad record with a creepy musical accompaniment that makes you want to either hang yourself or howl. You can't go out and take photos, there is no air conditioning. Only the sunny weather brightened up the trip, and the excellent condition of the Minsk roads.

The bus is dirty, the tours have not been updated since 2019. I was especially impressed: "look to the right - there's Dreamland Park" and all this in 2024. The audio guide spoke faster than the bus was moving. For such an excursion, in which nothing specific is said about the sights of Minsk, it is expensive.

The tour lasts 1 hour and 40 minutes. But the intervals between excursions are 2.5 hours.It would be possible to run buses more often . The tour is interesting, we listened in Russian, and it is offered in other languages too. There is a red double-decker tourist bus stop on Kirova Street near house number 1. My wife and I have been looking for a place to stop the City Tour bus for a very long time. On the website of the company "City Bas" it is indicated that the bus stops at Kirova str., 1 House is very large. We thought that the bus stops next to public transport stops. We waited for the bus in light rain and with a slight wind. Slightly wet. We saw a bus on Kirov Street itself. In the line of the Minsk gate. And only then did they notice the sign. We approached the bus. The driver said that the payment is made only in Belarusian rubles. (We wanted to pay with a MIR bank card. I had to go to the bank to the terminal. 100 Belarusian rubles were withdrawn. They came and paid. The driver did not give us a receipt, we received only two promotional brochures. We waited for a while, and more passengers loaded up. In my opinion, there were about twenty-five tourists. As I already wrote, it was drizzling a little. The bus was a summer performance with a test. The water was leaking a little. Not critical. The driver told us that you can only take the tour bus once. The bus did not stop. We just drove along the route indicated in the brochures. We returned to the place of departure at the Minsk gate. The bus left at 11:15, the next time this bus left at 13:30. There are only 4 trips per day along the route. This can be read on the sign at the bus stop. The tour is very interesting. The broadcast was carried out through the speaker, it was heard very well. Headphones were not issued. The route is set up perfectly. We drove through all the iconic places. The tour turned out to be informative. I recommend using this tour. There were children of about five years old on the tour, boys with their parents. The children were quiet. I think they were interested too. I took pictures through the glass of the bus.

I really don't recommend it! In October 2023 I skated. A very old bus - the probability that it will break down in general is very high. In the middle of the tour, the driver said that he needed to refuel (this is the first flight of the day, at 11 am ...), warned. I left the route, drove past one gas station and stalled under the MKAD bridge before reaching the second one... He didn't say anything to the passengers, got out and ran away!! What a twist! We called the organizers of the tour - they can't get through to the driver... There are 14 people sitting on the vah bus..After a while, the driver returns with a couple of cans of gasoline. When asked why he didn 't refuel at the nearest one , he answered: Well, I usually refuel on this one. Uhm.. Then I barely started up and still stopped at the gas station to fill up the tank. As a result - 40 minutes and a lot of nerves instead of exploring the city.
The driver apologized, of course, personally returned the money to me. But the organizers did not react in any way ...
And judging by other comments, this is not a rare story.

We are very disappointed with such a "service", or rather its complete absence!! It was the first time in Minsk and I really wanted to get to know the city better. Today is December 16, 2022. They paid 40 rubles each ( about 1300 Russian rubles ) and NO !!! SIGHTSEEING TOUR. From the word at all! Since there was no review. All the windows are icy, the bus is old and growling so that you can't hear half the text from the speakers. Passengers endlessly tried to peel the ice off the glass to see at least something! It's very cold in the cabin, we barely waited for the end of the trip.
They made claims to the driver at the exit. Of the 18 people who participated in the tour, 12 remained to demand a refund! But, we did not achieve any results!!
Either from the driver or from the representative of the company on the phone. She actually said it was your own fault, didn't you see that the windows were icy?! It was necessary not to get on the bus((
In short, in no case DO I ADVISE ANYONE to use the "services" of this sharashkin office!
I will definitely write a complaint to higher authorities!!
