The Similan Islands are a real paradise on earth! I have long dreamed of visiting this corner of the planet, and now I understand why it is considered one of the best places to relax in Thailand.
The islands are surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea, which impresses with its purity and transparency. The beaches are covered with snow-white sand, and the coastal area is decorated with huge granite boulders of bizarre shapes. The underwater world here is incredibly rich: coral reefs, colorful fish, starfish and turtles (although I haven't met a turtle, but the reef is gorgeous) create an unforgettable impression.
The most popular among tourists is Similan Island No. 8 (Koh Miang), where the Mu Koh Similan National Park is located. Here you can enjoy the tranquility and beauty of nature away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The Similans have given me a lot of positive emotions and memories that will stay with me forever. If you are looking for the perfect vacation destination, be sure to visit these amazing islands!(and even a long ride on the waves is forgotten when you see this beauty)
It's a great place. We've been going here many times, but only now have we been able to go. We bought a tour to the Similan Islands. We've been planning to come here for a long time. This is a national park. They are located in the Ataman Sea at a decent distance from Phuket. It took 1.5 hours by minibus and another 1.5 hours by speedboat.
And so we drove, waiting for impressions and emotions. We got up at 4:00 a.m., slept in a minibus, and rode a boat on non-acidic waves. My aunt was riding with us on a boat, so when we got there, she was almost kissing the sand and crying that she wouldn't go anymore.
And so, with this expectation, we reached the paradise island.
And how nice it was when we received in response the very impressions and emotions that we had been waiting for and brought closer as we could.
First, we jumped into the azure water from the boat. Then they touched the white sand, which seeps through their fingers like flour. And then we walked along the path alone to the other side of the island. And I decided to get out my phone, saying, we might see a monitor lizard. And just as I start filming, a huge monitor lizard crosses our path. Well, I managed to go to the bathroom. Adrenaline in the blood. After all, words are material. But a hundred people walked along the path, and only we saw the monitor lizard.
And then we didn't get out of the water for an hour, and my son oohed and aahed at different fish. And I really wanted to stay more…
Nicely. One of the few (if not the only) archipelagos of volcanic origin in Thailand. There is a royal family residence on one of the islands. But tourists are allowed on the island. The beaches are beautiful, but I liked the beaches of O.Racha and Phi Phi (Pee-Pee in the local language) and the one in the photo, like Bounty Beach, I don't remember... that's if we talk about beaches. In general, it is worth traveling around Phuket. I will definitely come back again.
