I came in the middle of October for 6 nights, booked room #4. I liked it very much.
Excellent location - across the street there is a shopping center where you can buy food or go to the pharmacy. In the same building where the hotel is, there is a copy center to print documents, very close, literally 5 meters from the entrance, there is a public transport stop, from where it is very convenient to get to the desired locations. I walked to some places in the center.
The room itself is spacious, clean, and tidy. There is a kettle in the room, cups, a couple of tea bags, a TV, a small refrigerator, air conditioning, a hairdryer, towels and slippers are provided. The bathroom is clean, there is nothing to complain about. It is very nice that breakfast is included, quite hearty and in beautiful dishes.
People are polite. During all my stay, there was not a single problem and I do not regret at all that I chose this particular hotel.
I am very, very grateful to the girl with dark hair who checked me in this morning. I was very tired after the night flight, I didn't think anything and didn't know what to do with myself, so I sincerely thank you for not being indifferent. I have a very pleasant memory that on the first or second night it rained heavily outside and I quietly fell asleep under a warm blanket to the sounds of rain.

The location is 5+, near a bus stop in any direction of the city, as well as a supermarket SPAR opposite. The single room was clean and warm, the plumbing was all in good order, the hot water pressure was excellent. They cleaned every day, it was quiet at night. It's a pity there is no refrigerator, but the staff is very responsive, they allowed me to put medicines for storage in the staff refrigerator. The breakfast is modest, but beautifully decorated and delicious, I liked it. I didn't have enough shampoo shelves in the shower, but in general, the option is decent and budget-friendly.

It is very conveniently located,near shopping centers,cafes,hospitals,transport is also nearby,cleanliness is everywhere on the level,the rooms are comfortable with a TV and a refrigerator,the price includes a very tasty breakfast,on the ground floor there is an excellent cafe "coffee cubano" in Cuban style,polite and helpful staff.

Nice, cozy hotel. There are about 15 rooms in total, and I've stayed in several. There are very small rooms of 10-12 meters, it's just to spend the night, it's difficult to live in such rooms. But there are also classic rooms of 25 meters each, that's comfortable in them. The breakfasts are continental, quite modest, but if you take porridge, it's quite satisfying. A good filter coffee is served for breakfast. The location is very good, opposite the Spar supermarket, where there is very good cooking. In general, I recommend it.

A very nice hotel. Clean rooms, friendly staff. We arrived ahead of check-in time at the hotel and were accommodated in a room. Silk way Hotel is located in the center of the old town. Everything is within walking distance - restaurants, coffee shops, shops, metro.

Nice clean hotel, well-maintained rooms. I specially took a large room with a refrigerator-in fact, there was no refrigerator in the room when I checked in. The issue was resolved quickly. The breakfasts in the cafe right there are very tasty, with a good selection. A small minus is from 8:30 and you have to wait until they cook from under the knife. The location of the hotel is excellent-the city center. there is a transport stop nearby.

For that kind of money, it's top! I am writing this review only considering the cost of staying at this hotel. There's nothing to complain about. Just anyone who writes negative reviews about sound insulation and breakfasts, let them compare prices first, and then draw conclusions.

A lovely cozy hotel. Quiet, while in the city center. We lived in a double room with a teenage daughter for a week. The heat is below 40 outside, the room is pleasantly cool from the air conditioner. The room is cleaned daily.
Stable Wi-Fi. I worked from the room - I never had any problems with the connection!
The shower room is beautiful, freshly renovated, not the slightest complaints!
I recommend. Excellent price-quality ratio!

A nice enough hotel.
The rooms are clean, although the plumbing has pumped up a little. Everything seems to be new, but the faucet opens with difficulty(.
There are breakfasts, satisfactory.

Silk Way Hotel is a small but very cozy hotel in the very center of Almaty. Mega, Almaty Arbat, Old Square, Detsky Mir, various cafes, etc. are located within walking distance. Directly opposite the Silk Way shopping center with a good supermarket Evro Spar. In recent years, I have stayed many times with my relatives at this hotel, in different rooms located in the right and left wings of the building. For example, recently on June 8 and 9, 2023, I stayed in room no.2. There are 17 rooms in total, they have different sizes, different comfort levels and, accordingly, different prices. But the prices are reasonable and match the quality. The hotel staff is polite and qualified. Attentive and competent administrators Natalia, Madina and Umut work in shifts at the 24-hour front desk. They always met my requests and answered all my questions. The rooms are always amazingly clean with snow-white bed linen and towels, all toiletries and a tea set. The cleanliness of the rooms and the availability of everything necessary in them are provided by the neat and sociable maids Altyn and Aliya. The rooms are ventilated, there are never any foreign odors in them. On the technical side: new plumbing, lighting and electrical appliances are serviceable, TVs, air conditioners, Wi-Fi Internet in the rooms, there is a laundry room on the 1st floor. The mini-hotel has its own small cafeteria with fresh continental breakfasts, which are included in the price. I saw mostly business travelers, foreigners, tourists, and married couples among the visitors. Many thanks to all the staff of the Silk Way Hotel for their hard work and hospitality! It doesn't make an impression from the outside, but inside everything is at the level of hotels higher in class and price. Hearty breakfasts. And different every day. I am pleasantly surprised by the prices for ironing clothes. If you want to spend the night, it is an ideal place for price and quality.

Very convenient location! Walking area (Almaty Arbat) 500 m. Shops, cafes, parks, shopping malls are within walking distance.
The room is small, but quite decent for the advertised price. If you are an active traveler, then it's just right! We left early in the morning and returned late at night. I really liked everything. The breakfast is hearty, it is prepared right in front of you. Everything is fresh. You can order something else from the cafe menu, if you wish. The cafe is open until 21 o'clock. So, if desired, you can have lunch and dinner.
There are tea drinking facilities in the room. We really liked it.
For some reason, the robes were only small. The spouse couldn't even put on a sleeve. One toothbrush is open, without paste, the other is sealed. In the shower, you need to try very hard to catch the transition from very cold to boiling water. You need to be careful not to get scalded.
But, these are the details. But in general, I really liked it! Let's come back here again. We are planning a trip again, as a company.

Excellent location in the very center of Almaty, but the room I stayed in was very noisy because of the road, it's better at night, but I don't recommend it to those who are light sleepers. When ordering through the hotel's website, a discount compared to booking 2000-3000 tenge per day. The room is acceptable, neat, clean, but everything has already seen the sights, although it feels that once the interior was on the level. Comfortable chairs in the room. There's a supermarket across the street. Breakfast for a C-plus. If you are on business for a couple of days in Almaty, then you can safely reserve.

I booked a room without a bathroom. There is no air conditioning, it was stuffy, the cabinets are old, in general, I do not advise booking a room without a bathroom. It's not cozy. The amount includes Breakfast, but not much. It is located in a good location. There is a notary nearby, opposite the shopping center. Purity 8/10
