The historical concept of the hotel, its design, location, delicious breakfasts and a beautiful terrace make the hotel an ideal place to relax in Samarkand.
But the most important thing is the atmosphere of real Oriental hospitality, which you immerse yourself in thanks to the sincere care of the staff.
Transfer arrangements, location recommendations, assistance with minor issues and various compliments from the hotel are just a small fraction of what they do. Globally, they are involved in shaping the image of Uzbekistan and, in my opinion, they are doing an excellent job with this mission. We had a rest in Uzbekistan for the May holidays.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in August 2024 for three nights. We were very satisfied. The staff is very polite and helpful. A transfer from/to the airport was arranged upon request (it was free to return). The room is very clean, new, cleaning every day. The breakfasts are hearty and varied. The staff will always help, prompt, and organize upon request. It was always a pleasure to return from excursions to the hotel - pleasant coolness and super aromatization of the air) Very comfortable bed and mattress. The location of the hotel is good, all the sights are within walking distance and most importantly, the very delicious Samarkand restaurant (portions / price and quality) were very pleasing (there were also Emirates in the restaurant - portions are less / the price is 1.5-2 times higher and I would not say that it tastes better, you pay for the view and the roof veranda). I sincerely recommend this hotel. You will definitely be satisfied!

Overall, everything is great! Beautiful, comfortable, and sincere! The staff is very attentive, the interior is original and colorful. The location is convenient.
There are no disadvantages, only wishes to get better (as I already mentioned at the reception).
It would not be superfluous to have a coat hanger at the entrance, there is a place for this (so as not to hang jackets in the closet on hangers).
Russians are still used to eating pancakes and cheesecakes hot, cold, well, it doesn't fit at all (but this is the problem of all Uzbek hotels, we were in 4, and cold dishes are everywhere)
It was very nice that the hotel gives guests a plate as a keepsake, but it is better, of course, to provide another souvenir, not so voluminous and fragile. After all, tourists then travel by plane trains around the country and beyond, it seems to be a good thing, but it causes discomfort)

We really liked the hotel. Pleasant and polite guys meet, they will always help, upon arrival they conducted a tour of their mini museum (beautiful photos turn out), treated them to a glass of wine and fruit (a trifle, but nice). The rooms are clean and fresh. The room has super beds, a kettle, glasses, tea and coffee, daily replenishment, as well as water. By the way, water is everywhere - you can always take it, which is important in the heat. Daily maintenance. The bathroom has modern equipment, there are all the necessary bathroom accessories, even shaving ones, which I met for the first time all the time. A very decent breakfast buffet: porridge of 3 types, while delicious, pancakes of 4 types, boiled egg and scrambled eggs, sausage and cheese cuts, sausages (delicious), dried fruits, fresh fruits and vegetables, dry breakfast, nutella, yogurt, oriental sweets, tea bags of a bunch of types, but you can brew and I put the coffee in the kettle myself, my girls liked it. Cute girls will make coffee and bring it, help you figure it out. It is very convenient and mentally possible to have breakfast, relax, chat. There is a cool terrace where in the evenings we sat, talked, took tea from the room, oriental sweets, this is all that adds to the vacation of super impressions. In general, it is not far from the railway station and tourist spots. The guys will always tell you where you can go for a walk and have a delicious meal in the evening, while not super expensive, but you need to book places in the restaurant in advance. It was very nice that when we were evicted, they did not immediately forget about us))), but left our things at the reception, after the tour they gave us a rest, took water to the toilet, and the cherry on the cake ordered a transfer at the expense of the hotel to the train station. In general, the hotel left a very good impression. He justifies his cost. Thanks a lot to all the girls and guys from the hotel for their patience, because we were a great company)))

We recently stayed at the Silk Road Empire Hotel in Samarkand, and our stay exceeded all expectations! The hotel is brand new and it is immediately noticeable: the rooms are modern, stylish and very comfortable. The breakfasts here are simply great – a wide selection of dishes for every taste, ranging from fresh fruits to hot dishes.
We were especially pleasantly surprised by the evening surprises – a choice of red or white wine. And upon departure, the hotel gave us small but very pleasant keepsake gifts. I would also like to mention the free return transfer that the hotel organized for us – it really takes care of the guests at the highest level.
We recommend Silk Road Empire to anyone who is planning a trip to Samarkand. Here you will find not only comfort and coziness, but also real hospitality!

A wonderful hotel! Beautiful, cozy, stylized by national history. The rooms are spacious and bright. High-quality mattresses and bed linen. The location of the hotel is very convenient. We stayed at the Silk Road Empire Hotel in April 2024. We chose the hotel based on reviews on the Booking website and did not regret our choice at all. Excellent rooms with everything you need, new furniture, very comfortable mattresses. The plumbing is new, the water pressure is excellent, no foreign odors. Delicious and varied breakfasts in the restaurant, excellent morning coffee. I would like to note the cordiality, responsiveness and hospitality of the entire hotel staff, as well as such pleasant things as a glass of excellent local wine as an evening compliment, a souvenir and a free transfer to the airport.

Samarkand is a beautiful city, but the hotel or rather the Silk Road Empire hotel-museum is something!
I tell you in order:
The check-in took place in the lobby of the hotel and we were personally handed the keys to the famous apartments, we got the presidential one for our family of three!
Very beautiful and equipped (photo attached)
The room has everything: bathrobes, slippers, shower products, a towel, everything is clean and new.
Breakfast is just great!!!
There is a coffee machine, coffee lovers will understand, there are so many types of tea for any gourmet, you can order an omelet, cook a lot of delicious, sweet and fruits.
For two nights we received a compliment from the hotel, fruit and a glass of wine.
The hotel is like a museum , I want to take pictures of everything!
One thing is, there is only Wi-Fi Internet, weak, we need to work on it, but for me it's not scary, we had a local SIM card!
Therefore, thanks for our stay at this hotel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It was very cool!

In September 2024, I was supposed to stay at this hotel, but I couldn't for objective reasons.Nevertheless, I consider it necessary to share my opinion about the behavior of the hotel staff.
On August 30, I booked a room on the hotel's website from September 23, I got a call from the hotel, they spoke very politely, asked what kind of mattress softness I prefer, and asked me to make an advance payment, as they said, just in case, because it's still early, but you never know what. At the same time, no one told me that if canceled three weeks before arrival, the money will not be refunded (there was no such condition on the booking or on any other site). I found out about this only after a week later, on September 8, the trip was canceled for health reasons. I asked for a refund, they promised to resolve the issue within two days, but nothing has been resolved until today. It seems to me that this behavior of the hotel staff is unprofessional and unethical.

We stayed at the Silk Road Empire Hotel in September 2024. It's a wonderful place, as if you're visiting close friends. The staff is very friendly, met, settled ahead of time, fed. The breakfasts are very tasty, for every taste: cereals, porridges, eggs, cheeses, fruits and vegetables, pancakes, cheesecakes. Everything is fresh/warm/delicious. from fruits: apples, pears, pomegranates, peaches, nectarines, melons, watermelon... you can't count everything. The room is fresh, comfortable, wide beds, double-sided mattress - you can choose a more comfortable side. Most of all, compliments to the room in the evenings bribed. It is very pleasant when a glass of wine or fruit is brought to the room in the evening after a long day of travel. It's captivating. I will definitely recommend it to my friends and acquaintances.

A great hotel almost in the center of the city.Excellent service, good-natured and helpful staff.
The breakfasts are very tasty (homemade cheesecakes and pancakes especially).
Nice new rooms, cool mattresses. Every evening when visiting the restaurant on the terrace, there was a compliment of fresh fruits!
Perhaps for someone it will be a minus that there was no window in the room, they slept with a working air conditioner, but it did not bother us, we did not come to sleep, but to walk around beautiful, bright and hot Samarkand!

This hotel was recommended to us by friends, but after seeing the diverse reviews, we were a little worried. Fortunately, love happened. The hotel is not located in the old town, but in a convenient location, from where it is 7 minutes to the best restaurants in the city (Samarkand and Sycamore, and even Sirius), near a park, opposite an Italian huge ice cream parlor, there are a lot of decent children's shops on the street. You can get to the old town by taxi for 150 rubles, in 10-15 minutes. We talked in advance about which room we needed and we were shown 3-4 options to choose from (with windows facing the street, courtyard and inside the corridor). We chose to go outside, because the room has 2 beautiful windows, although it's a bit noisy, but we can't do without air. What distinguishes the hotel is that it is a family boutique, I will not repeat about the tour and installations. It is important that the owner and his son accept you as at home and, if you are respectful, then the doors are open to you in everything. The owner personally delivered compliments in the form of fruit or wine in the evenings. The breakfast was very decent: scrambled eggs, porridges, fruits, fresh vegetables, cheeses, national pastries, cuts, cottage cheese, delicious quince jam. The hotel is new, and it feels good. You will not find a large lobby and windows are not fixed in ventilation mode, and there are no blackout curtains. But now I understand that I noted this for myself, but these moments did not spoil the impression at all. You feel some kind of love and care, and you don't feel like a walking "wallet")))

Nice hotel, delicious breakfasts. But the lack of windows upset me-some of the rooms are located indoors. If it's not critical in the evening, then in the morning you want to pull back the curtains, open the window, see the sun, breathe in fresh air - the absence of all this was very annoying.
The staff tries very hard to make the guests feel comfortable.

The only drawback: we asked for an early check-in in advance (not necessarily), and it was agreed upon for us. When we arrived, we asked for a plus $ 90 surcharge. Then it turned out that there was no additional payment. They offered to pay in $, but they wanted to give the change in local currency at an extremely poor exchange rate. And we begged for this $15 change all day ...

The wrapper is gorgeous: carpets, a museum, cleanliness, excellent breakfasts, helpful staff ready to help everyone, each room has an individual design, shampoos in the room, dental kit, TV 4000 TV channels. Everything would be fine, but! Hair on the bed after cleaning, no WI-fi signal, and in this regard, all of the 4000 channels on TV were not loaded.

The best hotel I've been to in the last few years. Incredibly polite staff, perfectly trained, everything is beautiful inside, a good European breakfast (cereals, omelets, yoghurts, a lot of fruits and vegetables), good location. We arrived from the airport at 9 a.m., the rooms were immediately occupied (without waiting for 14:00), we were sent to have breakfast. Upon departure, a compliment was given and a taxi was ordered to the train station at the expense of the hotel. I really liked it. From now on, I will stop in Samarkand only here.

Perhaps the best hotel in recent years in terms of price-quality ratio! I liked absolutely everything, starting from checking in and submitting a room, and ending with "hugs goodbye". The staff is very tactful, polite, helpful: they responded to all requests quickly and clearly, the room was cleaned every day, every evening there was a compliment from the hotel - a plate of delicious fruits. An impressive hotel! Its own museum, each room is a separate historical figure, a certificate about her hangs in the room. Before checking in, the staff conducted a tour of the hotel and told me about the room where I will stay. The interior is, in a word, luxury! Soft carpets and sofas in the corridors, air conditioning in the rooms, Internet TVs, fragrance, carpets, rosaries and directions for believers.
The floors have their own restaurants with delicious and varied food.
The only thing that bothered me a little was that the bathroom in my room was stuffy, apparently the air conditioner in it was blowing badly.
I will be happy to come again!.

A new, luxurious, cozy hotel. Excellent location, close to parks, many cafes, restaurants. Gur Emir is a 20-minute walk through the parks, again, a half-hour walk to Registan. The street is small, so it's not loud.
Good sound insulation in the rooms, including windows from the street, significantly removes noise.
Comfortable bed, orthopedic mattress, large bathroom, always hot water, daily cleaning. Very soft towels, snow-white linen, bathrobes, slippers.
A spacious closet where long dresses are visited!! And this is very rare))
