A wonderful hotel for family holidays.
The food is delicious, the staff is attentive and polite. Live music in the evenings.
Three large swimming pools, several a-lacard restaurants, 3 cafes. All drinks are included in the price. I highly recommend it.
A solid five plus! It is perfectly located, the territory is competently and elegantly integrated into the surrounding landscape—a cascade of beautifully landscaped terraces. A fairly large, wide beach with a smooth shallow approach, smooth sandy bottom.
The hotel itself is new and clean, cleanliness and order are carefully monitored, down to the smallest detail. Well-located rooms, many with beautiful sea views. Among the pleasant bonuses are new bathrobes in the room and a bag with a set of beach towels that are added every day when cleaning the room.
I would also like to thank the chefs and employees of the restaurant, who make very tasty, light and mouth-watering dishes from the standard hotel menu.
Special thanks to the support and accommodation service, they quickly settled into a great room and immediately responded to all requests. Very professional!!!!

We were at the hotel in the off-season, March 2021, the outdoor pool was heated, the room was in the main building, very convenient, the room was ordinary, the bar was replenished every day :beer, cola, sprite, juice,water, iced tea.
Beach:private, sand, there is an elevator that descends to the lower level of the pools and the sea bar.
The bar serves: beer, vodka, champagne, belis, whiskey, Gin, cocktails:everything you can, cosmopolitan, Pinacolada, sex on the beach, martini, tequila sunrise.
Food: standard breakfasts are all in fives, lunches are almost the same, but the dinners were great: tuna, goose, index, lamb, beef, chicken, seafood dishes.
After the main reception, the Time-out restaurant is always open, they eat there around the clock, bake Viennese waffles, burgers, etc.
There is a barbecue on the beach.
Alaska is very decent, there are 4 of them, but three worked during the pandemic, all excellent and the service and most importantly delicious.
We were satisfied.

My husband and I have been coming to this hotel for the second time, for the first time we were in the pandemic in 2020, despite the situation, it was clear how everyone tried to make the rest as comfortable as possible. That's why we decided this year with the whole family to come to this hotel again. We were accommodated in a new building overlooking the sea, a beautiful two-room room. But I had a problem, I couldn't sleep because of the noisy road that is nearby. And so No problem, the reception and Guest Relation Saadat, thank her very much for her understanding and patience, moved us to another room. In general, Saadat is an amazing person, I have not met such people for a long time, it seems that you have known her for a hundred years, always in touch, very cool! You change beach towels calmly, without cards, no one throws them anywhere. The only downside is the beach has poor Wi-Fi. According to nutrition, there is an abundance of food around the clock throughout the hotel, two restaurants - lunch on the street plus from 11 to 16.00 and various snacks on the way to the beach. So, coming to dinner, if you don't have moderation during the day, you want to cry. Dinner is a work of art by chefs and pastry chefs, everything is not only delicious, but also beautiful! Cuisines from different countries were presented. Everything is festively decorated, you get aesthetic pleasure!

A wonderful hotel. I liked everything. For a quiet, relaxing holiday in March, that's the thing. The animation worked, the food was delicious, the room had access to the pool and a beautiful terrace. Clean, everything is new, cleaning daily. The territory is large, there is a place to walk. The beach is sandy, the entrance to the sea is good.
We rested from 01.11 to 08.11.2020. We arrived at 11 o'clock, checked in immediately. The room has a sea view, everything is clean and tidy, modern renovation, snow-white linen. The territory of the hotel is well maintained, surrounded by palm trees, flowers. At first, it was really difficult to navigate a lot of ascents, passages, stairs, cafes and restaurants throughout the territory. We had to use two transfer elevators from the room to the restaurant and the sea. In general, the hotel is for those who are not afraid of stairs and ascents. And the rest of the hotel is gorgeous. The food is delicious, everything is in abundance, a lot of fish, meat, fruits, vegetables, pastries are generally a fairy tale, especially waffles in the cafe by the pool. The alcohol is good and varied, especially delicious cocktails in the Time-out bar. The beach is amazing, there are enough sunbeds in November. We were lucky the weather was super, the sea was warm. We swam in the sea every day. In general, we had a great rest. Very nice hotel!!! I definitely recommend it! Many thanks to Saadat and all the staff for their work!
I stayed at the Side Star Elegance 5* hotel in the first half of August with my 4-year-old son. The hotel is almost perfect. This "almost", alas, concerns almost exclusively covid restrictions. But - about everything in order. The hotel is large and green, with a nice sandy, pebble-free beach and a bottom (at the entrance to the sea) without stones. The hotel is really big, and on the one hand, this is a plus. This means large pools, and there are really a lot of them: one (the main one) even with an island with a palm tree and a small lawn in the center. There is a children's pool (between the administrative and residential and restaurant buildings. There is also another small pool with mini waterfalls, under which you can stand as under a shower (1.5 meters plus the depth of the pool) and a funny sculpture of a potbellied peasant diving from the side. In addition, there are a couple of small pools for private recreation of newlyweds or couples without children: children are not allowed there :)) A number of rooms generally have access from the balcony directly into a small, 4 meters wide, swimming pool. So, the first problem related to covid is the indoor indoor pool in the fitness center, the one with the hammam and sauna. For some reason, the indoor pool is closed for epidemiological reasons and for me personally it was a serious problem, because I was used to immediately go from the sauna to the cool pool 50 meters from the steam room, and here it is closed. And my son and I had to run 250-300 meters down steep stairs to plunge into one of those private 18+ pools. Thank God, they didn't knock on us, and they didn't kick us out. The water in the pools is cool, even in 37-degree heat. By the way, there is another disadvantage: the entry into the sauna introduced due to covid and the restriction of staying in it for 30 minutes, which was strictly monitored. By the way, about the stairs: the hotel is located on terraces, so you often have to climb up the mountain and climb steep stairs, which for many can be a minus. But if we turn to the topic of food, then such a vertical structure of the hotel is even a plus: instead of physical exercises. By the way, there are enough elevators and everything is working. There is even a mini funicular, but it is very slow. I want to give a useful life hack for newcomers. There are, as it were, two main blocks of buildings: administrative and residential (where the reception, exit from the hotel and, practically, all residential blocks with rooms, and a restaurant and entertainment building, where all restaurants, entertainment centers and a fitness center with baths are located. So, to get from the room to the beach, you need to go down (or up, since the reception is on the ground floor, and the rooms on the terrace can be located both above and below, there is even a minus 2nd floor) to the ground floor, pass by the reception and exit to the alley (150 meters in length) between the two main buildings. The alley passes by 2 swimming pools, the landmark is the same statue of a belly preparing to dive. So, go through the alley, enter the restaurant building, there will be a bar first, do not be embarrassed, you can walk through it in swimming trunks and swimsuits :)) You defile through the bar to one of the 2 large (for 8 people) elevators and go down to the minus 4th floor. There you find yourself on the fitness floor with a sauna and a hammam with other spa facilities, and there is also access to the beach, to the main large pool with an island and 2 good (tried) water slides, beach and pool bars. By the way, the staff in bars and restaurants are polite and non-intrusive. For example, I habitually ignored the rule not to carry glass glasses into the pool area (well, I don't like plastic), so no one ran after me, as in other hotels, and did not confiscate glasses half-emptied). But in the restaurant (mostly) - the animals are simple. On the one hand, they allowed, one of the few, for the guests to serve their own food, and not the waiters, creating huge queues. But at the same time, the mask mode and gloves are very strictly monitored. When I first read about it, I thought I would be loyal to this requirement. I had enough, though not for long. The restaurant manager from Kazakhstan, a guy old enough to be my son, accosted me with a demand to pull a mask over my nose, for which he received a hard thrashing from my side: "You care so much about my health, huh? How can breathing from my nose affect the infection of anyone, especially since I am fully vaccinated!" Park did not stop there and stopped me when I took off my mask on the way to the table, motivating that masks should be worn on the way to the table. Here I went into complete refusal, which was followed by an invitation from 2 batyrs (restaurant managers of solid build). The batyrs did not convince me and could not force me to close my nose or forbid me to walk with plates to the table without a mask. From now on, I was not detained with this, but when in the morning, during breakfast, when in most cases I managed to get food without any masks or gloves at all, I was caught and peremptorily forced to "put on". However, on the outer balcony in the morning you were no longer controlled and you could at least pour coffee-tea-cocoa without a muzzle :)). The food is very tasty, but, according to the testimony of the regulars of the hotel, the situation has changed for the worse. For me personally, the painful measure was the exclusion of ice cream balls from the permanent assortment in the main restaurant. He just disappeared, liz was given out 4 times in 15 days by a waiter, 2 balls per snout with gravies, there were 6 types of ice cream and creme brulee in the assortment. We were pleased with the days with seafood and sushi, the abundance of perfectly cooked meat, regular kebabs and spaghetti with minced meat, an abundance of salads and fruits (there were no strawberries, there were peaches, but hard and tasteless), always watermelons, melons, plums, apricots (hard), grapes of 2 types, fruit salads. They often gave grilled chicken, both in the restaurant and in the bar. Ice cream balls were often served from 16.00 to 16.30 at the large pool, pancakes were baked there. But it had to be caught. I'm not talking about gozlem: tortillas are baked here every day, seven days a week, but the start time is extremely inconvenient, 12.00, and for me this is a minus. I used to arrange my 2nd breakfast at 11.00: you come first and get a snack before lunch at 13:00. Here it's not that, nor that. Ayran is branded here, in plastic cups, and not on tap, as in other hotels. In general, we were pleased with the glass cabinets-refrigerators throughout the hotel with a can of fanta, sprite, ice cream, and bottled water. However, old-timers complained that canned beer had disappeared, and draft beer was inferior in quality. But I liked all the drinks and cocktails. By the way, who cares, Baileys and coconut cocktail are unlimited (wow!) The hotel has 4 separate restaurants by appointment, I visited 3 of them: fish, Turkish and Italian. They cooked great there, but the portions were small and in general, there was a feeling that in this way they were saving on unlimited food in the main restaurant. But on the other hand, you sit without muzzles and the service is top class! :)). The big advantages of this hotel also include the lack of restrictions on staying in the pool. In many hotels where I was in the pool, you could swim only from 9 or 8 in the morning. No one was catching me by the tail here(you understand that in those hotels I brazenly ignored this rule and swam when and how much I wanted :)). The hotel has a rule that you can not occupy sun beds in the early morning, and this is compensated by the permission to pull the sun beds from any row forward, even to the sea itself. Moreover, the towels of those who occupy the sun beds before 8.00 are withdrawn and not returned. To whom as. This measure seems quite fair to me. In general, in August of this year, the hotel was overcrowded, which was another disadvantage of covid restrictions and my (non-hotel) towels were often moved to one sunbed, instead of the occupied two) even during the day. I don't know who did it, but maybe even the hotel staff. We often left the sunbeds for a long time. The hotel is located right in the town of Side, which was a plus for me personally: once every 2 days, my son and I went to a 24-hour supermarket after sunset for strawberries and peaches (we bought for 2 days at once). There, prices are low and it was not necessary, as in hotels in villages, to jump on local shops before lunch, in the heat. Even the local playgrounds were visited. By the way, there is a mini club with a trampoline(!) and slides on site. According to the clock, it really works, 5 hours a day. Yes, for those who leave late, please do not worry: leave your bags in the luggage room, valuables in the free safe (I recommend) and walk around the hotel, eat, drink at least until 18.00-19.00. I had a check-out at 18.00. No one even said a word. In general, I plan to visit this hotel again, but after covid. I hope the ice cream and beer in cans will be returned, the pool will be opened, the access system in the saunas will be canceled. The score minus covid paranoia is five plus!
I really liked it, there are minor flaws, and where without them, but they do not spoil the overall picture.
By the way, there was a car rental nearby for $ 27 a day with no mileage limit and a deposit.

For some reason, there are no fresh reviews and there is complete delight everywhere. The hotel is not bad for its price category (and this year it is sky-high), but not without drawbacks. For cleanliness, I would put a solid 3. It seems that the cleaners are doing their job, but not very successfully. On the beach, almost every umbrella has ashtrays with cigarette butts, glasses and untidy pieces of paper lying around. It's clear that there are a lot of people, peak season, but you have to get out! There is a dirty plate with leftovers on the elevator floor for the third day. The cleaner cleans the rooms, but does not touch the plate. There are a lot of poorly washed dishes in the restaurant. When you take a plate from a pack of clean ones, you have to look at it from all sides. I was very surprised that they don't cook an omelet to order for breakfast. Omelets are simply stacked side by side, so it is impossible to choose the filling. The food is removed at cosmic speed after the end of the meal time. If dinner is before 21, then all the food is collected and taken away at 21.05, the lights in the halls are extinguished. Is it okay that people haven't finished their dinner yet? The reception is a separate story. The hotel did not bother to respond to the request for early check-in from the travel agency. As a result, we were not checked in at 7 a.m., but we were not checked in at 10, 12, and 13. Moreover, the Russian-speaking girl Dilya from the reception at 13 o'clock even shouted at us. Like, it was said at 14, not a minute earlier, there's nothing to hang around here. Judging by the mountains of suitcases and people sleeping on sofas every day, this is a common practice for a hotel. The process of getting the missing robe also took 3 days, until the cleaner was caught by the hand, and the robe was taken from a freshly cleaned neighboring room.
There is a lot of food around, but it cannot be said that it is insanely delicious. The grill is constantly overcooked to the condition of the sole. The greens are lying around in a poorly washed mountain, and there are a lot of onions in sliced cucumbers and tomatoes.
Now about the positive. We got a room in a new building. Really new with good plumbing, the bed is very comfortable. The view of the sea is slightly from the side, but very beautiful. The territory is green, bananas grow around and tangerines ripen, hedgehogs run through the grass in the evening. The sea itself is beyond praise. Not a single stone when entering the sea, and the water remains inexplicably clear even in the evening with such an abundance of swimmers.
The summary is this - if the hotel management makes more efforts to restore order and cleanliness, and also teaches employees to treat tourists more carefully, then the hotel will be quite a decent level.
We arrived from Antalya last night. We rested at the Side Star Elegance hotel with the whole family. I really liked the hotel. We have been to Turkey many times, there is something to compare it with.
I liked everything - the attitude, the gorgeous territory, the food. We would like to express our special gratitude to Nargiz and Misha, who surrounded us with attention, helped us with shopping and were very attentive to us. There is no pomposity. But...The staff is polite. Therefore, a very pleasant atmosphere prevails everywhere. I haven't seen this in a medium-level Turkish hotels for a long time.
The rooms are clean. The linen is good.

When we go to Turkey, we only go to Side, we have been to many hotels, but this Hotel and the staff exceeded all expectations. Everyone is friendly and polite. My parents were on vacation at the end of September 2021. Among the advantages are room cleaning, friendly maids, a gorgeous beach and a clean sea. That's all. As soon as we entered the hotel, the rest was spoiled by rude ladies at the reception. The girl Victoria was rude and openly lied. The waiters smile at the Europeans and then only for tips. The hotel is preferred by the Germans and most of the guests are them. The food is monotonous, there are no themed dinners, as in many hotels. Seafood is completely absent from the word. The fish was 2 times in 10 days. If you are going to visit this hotel, then take more days, since the first 3-4 days you will be trying to find your way to the beach and back. The hotel is for very fussy tourists who do not need anything except the sea, or for those who go on excursions. People who prefer mostly hotel holidays are clearly not here.

A good hotel within walking distance to the old part of the city and other urban amenities. The hotel has a complicated layout, lots of elevators, passages, levels and even a mini rail funicular - you get used to it on the third day. The standard rooms are not super fresh, but they are maintained normally. For $ 20, the piggy bank at the reception was changed to a view of the sea, because a bunch of land view rooms overlook a busy road. A blue flag beach and fine sand, but such a beach should be cleaned of debris more often than once a week. At the time of the pandemic, the temperature was measured only upon arrival, no one wore masks, only gloves were put on in the dining room, everything was applied by themselves and without restrictions.
A decent level of hotel, with excellent food, service and location. I love this Side area. As a family, we love to stay in hotels that look down from a high cliff at the sea, the surf and the promenade path. Star Elegance is one of those! And there is also a real funicular and delicious ice cream for 12 hours a day!
Great hotel. It doesn't matter if you're German or Russian, the service is the same. The only drawback is that they left there overweight. Food after breakfast, before lunch and after ..... Saved the promenade along the sea, you will reach the old town, which is 3 km, and back and it seems to feel better.
Olel is simply fabulous in every way. We were very satisfied with the rest with the child, we rested for 3 weeks, we did not regret it at all. Everything is just great, we recommend it a hundred times!!!!!!
