This is an amazingly atmospheric place. The layout of fruits and vegetables, the amount of spices and dried fruits is simply amazing. Be sure to visit. Be sure to bargain.
The Oriental bazaar. There are a lot of dried fruits and other oriental sweets. If you don't know how to bargain, it's better not to go

A great place to feel the atmosphere of the oriental bazaar. There is a certain authenticity. You can buy cheap little things as souvenirs, Uzbek robes.
We did not regret that we went
A huge oriental market, a large selection of spices, spices, sweets, saliva is still flowing. Fruits, vegetables, national clothes.

So many delicious things are gathered in this place! And a lot of spices, sour milk (oh, this kaymak, which is somewhat similar to cream! And it's a pleasure to eat it with a warm flatbread, bought right there at the bazaar!) and various little things, and plants, and things. However, keep a close eye on your wallet and belongings. It is also not very pleasant to be persistently begging for money by Gypsy children, who usually have a gypsy woman behind them, directing them. You can't do without haggling in this market either. Moreover, haggling here is more a rule of good taste than just bargaining. For a good bargain, they can give a decent discount, especially if you bargain with passion and a smile.
Very colorful, authentic atmosphere, and if you do not pay attention to the mountains of Chinese consumer goods, exotic lovers will always find something interesting. I bought a cool Uzbek tambourine for my child. I will not mention the price - it is ridiculous in comparison with the same instrument in a music store.
The oldest bazaar in the region. A huge selection of ceramics and spices. In the center there is an old teahouse with inexpensive and delicious cuisine. Be sure to visit and do not forget to bargain!
For the local flavor only here! This bazaar is saturated with the atmosphere of the East! There is everything here: from fragrant herbs, freshly baked tortillas, fruits and vegetables to souvenirs of very good quality!
Recommend.to bargain to the last. Considering that this bazaar is located next to a tourist destination, the prices there are overpriced. If you walk around the city, the same things can be found much cheaper
It is necessary to bargain with the Producers.
The pavilion sign is missing.
You need to take your time to first ask the price at some points, then bargain and buy.
Traditional bazaar, food for locals, everything else (dried fruits, souvenirs, nuts) for tourists. Excellent fruits, local tortillas. It is better to buy sweets not on the shelves, but in stores around the perimeter of the market.
Probably every person living in Samarkand knows about this bazaar it is the most basic bazaar in Samarkand There is everything you want from vegetables to clothes
Very mixed feelings after this bazaar. In order..
There was nothing to do there before 9 a.m., we arrived at 8 a.m. the merchants only swept the floor and took out the goods, immediately cooked..
We were interested in shawls/scarves for gifts, something for ourselves.. The market is quite large, what we were looking for was never bought.. everything sparkles/glitters in gold.. As a result, we returned to the tourist pavilions, where there was a good choice aimed at a more European buyer.
Excellent selection of spices/halva/nuts in the grocery section. A sausage/meat pavilion was also found there..
If you bargain, they give up a little
I didn't like it, too active catch-up marketing..
Basically, all the same things can be bought in stores..
One of the best markets in the city! Siab Bazaar is one of the largest and oldest bazaars in Uzbekistan and Central Asia. The area of the bazaar exceeds seven hectares. Siab Bazaar is one of the most visited places in the city by tourists.
A place of a wonderful combination of colors and smells!
You can buy everything from skullcaps to tortillas, by the way, I recommend buying them here, they are hot and delicious!
Buy grapes from local grandmothers, enjoy its sweet and juicy taste.
Be sure to buy some spices, their aroma will surprise you.
They cheat in money, inflate the price and do not want to bargain. There is a large selection, a lot of interesting things, but you need to be very careful with the merchants
It's a bomb. You can't go there hungry. The Oriental bazaar in its best meaning. Delicious sweets, the freshest vegetables, the most fragrant seasonings. If local people buy there, then the bazaar is good!
If you come to Samarkand, then you need to visit it at least once)
It is necessary to visit in the morning!
Local flavor and a large selection of the freshest products are provided for you
There are also many family cafes on the market where you can eat delicious and inexpensive food!
Important! Monday is a sanitary day!
The market is mainly intended for tourists, locals are bought in other markets, because prices are much higher here. There is a large selection of products, vegetables and fruits.
Big Oriental Bazaar, near the most beautiful historical place! There is everything) And halva and dried fruits, and ceramics and fruits))) The prices are overpriced, really..
There is a good market, there is everything. Prices are also quite reasonable, but relative to other markets in Samarkand, they are very reluctant to trade.
But in my opinion the market at the Train Station is better
The market is for those who can bargain. Everyone is trying to deceive you. It is better to go with the locals who speak their languages. The atmosphere is positive.
A huge bazaar - market in the center of Samarkand! There is absolutely everything, as it should be at the bazaar ! I liked walking, haggling and, of course, buying Asian dried fruits.
