The hotel is located in the center, good location, across the street there is an amusement park. There is a great restaurant nearby. But there is a huge minus that spoiled all the impressions, these are cockroaches in the room.
The hotel has a very high level of service, I have lived in it for more than 20 years, I can say with confidence that it is one of the best in the country, many thanks to the staff for the cleanliness and comfort, room 5010
It was a month ago. The rooms are old and battered. The plumbing works every other time. They brought a dirty towel, I didn't notice it right away. At the check-out, they made me pay for a towel and said that I wiped their shoes, although the shoes were white and not black. When trying to explain at the reception, they started being rude, did not understand, paid 4000 tenge. The sediment is unpleasant. But I stopped at the hotel to relax after a hard day, and not to do an audit of what and how and what kind of towel was brought to me. They substitute and close their joints at the expense of the guests. There are more decent hotels nearby and much better and cleaner!
Nice hotel in the city center. Convenient location. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There are balconies. I took off one star for frequently non-working elevators. You can go to the water park nearby with a 50% discount.
A decent hotel: fully meets its stars. The room is spacious, the rooms are clean and overall everything is neat. Conditioner. Daily room cleaning (yes, this is not guaranteed in all Shymkent hotels, unfortunately), good linen and towels, good condition of plumbing, furniture. There were not enough hangers, especially not enough hangers for trousers. Good breakfasts: fresh delicious vegetables, mini-samsa - I also really liked it. Well, porridge, slicing, baking - everything is very tasty and edible. Good location: restaurants and everything you need are within walking distance. Attentive, courteous staff. Solid 4 stars.
The hotel building is old, still Soviet, but very well renovated, the breakfasts are good, the staff is polite and prepared.
P.S. There is little light in the bathroom, you need either brighter lamps or something extra.
After the renovation, a good hotel. In the morning, the plane was early and we did not have time for breakfast, but lunch boxes were prepared for us at the reception, it was very pleasant

I put a four, because the "scoop" is strongly felt in the interior, mainly on the floors. The rooms are not the most modern in terms of convenience, low sound insulation (the radio exchange of the staff is clearly audible at night. It interferes with those who have a light sleep). The breakfasts are average, seen and better) The presence of excellent restaurants "Golden Tapchan" and "Madeleine" in the neighborhood saves a lot. The strongest trump card of this hotel is the location, the city center. It is very convenient in this regard
A very beautiful cozy hotel with its own Parking for cars on the territory of which there is a very large water park for children. Where are the biggest slides. Heated pools.
Very nice, clean and cozy hotel. The hotel has a gym, a dining room and an auditorium for meetings with a large number of participants. Carpet is laid everywhere in the corridors. The rooms have a TV, mini fridge, writing table, armchair, chairs.
Top class. We took a suite, the room is excellent. The service is good, the breakfasts are a little meager in variety, but you can eat. The water park at the hotel is generally on fire!
I rent the cheapest room for 15,000 tenge. Breakfast is included. They call it capsule. It has no windows and faces the courtyard. So it's quiet and dark in there. It is very convenient to get enough sleep.
The hotel leaves a strange impression. Large, spacious, but unkempt with a clueless layout in the room. The windows are somehow sealed with sunscreen, which peels off in many places. Dirty windows. You can stay at the hotel for a night or two on a business trip, no more.
The hotel is not bad, apparently after renovation, the layout is like in hotels of the USSR times. Everything is standard, conveniently located, there is a good restaurant nearby, it is better to eat there, because the darkness in the hotel is terrible, the most miserable darkness that I have ever seen.
Excellent hotel in the center of Shymkent, clean, good service, delicious breakfast, helpful staff. It is very convenient for a week-long stay on a business trip.
The staff, the room service, cleanliness, I liked everything, the breakfast is delicious, you feel like a king. I will advise all my friends now I will stay there. Thank you Shymkent Grand Hotel
Convenient location, good guys at the reception, one of the disadvantages is the lack of sockets at the beds - ask for an extension cord, and not delicious (just very) coffee at breakfast.
One of the hotels where I stay when I come to Shymkent. I like the bed, the breakfasts, the polite staff, and most importantly, the corridors and rooms are carpeted - you can sleep peacefully, you can't hear the footsteps of other guests. Well, the fact that he has a great location is a big plus.
I liked the hotel. There is an ironing room , everything in the room for relaxation , towels , soaps , slippers , etc. in the bathroom . The breakfasts are good - a buffet. They give a 50 % discount to the water park next door , which is also nice . Opposite there is a large park where you can have a great time with your family. Once we were in the city again , we stayed in it . I recommend it to everyone
Overall, I liked the hotel. 2 adults and 3 children lived in a two-room room. Clean and cozy. Good service and room cleaning. Responsive staff. Clean linen. Bath accessories, bathrobes, slippers. There is a small minus for breakfast. There are not enough pastries, cheesecakes, for example, pancakes, croissants. You also need warm milk near the breakfast cereals for children. But if you ask, the milk will be warmed for you. I hope there will be pastries next time. Usually there is always a 4+ hotel).
