!!!Guests of Tajikistan definitely do not need to come here!!!
On March 30, 2025, we went to this Chocolate Factory for breakfast, we were alone there and there were 6-7 employees. We were glad that even though it was open, because of the holiday, all the establishments were closed.
The thick menu was the same as in Moscow, but in fact not everything on the menu was available.
We ordered three portions of English breakfast, a portion of pancakes, three cappuccino.
The bill was not brought by check, but
was shown on the phone-460 somoni. We were surprised, because we had been in Tajikistan for a week and were familiar with the prices, and they paid about 600 somoni for a great dinner at the restaurant.
They asked for the menu to calculate: English breakfast 55*3, cappuccino 35*3, a portion of pancakes 45som. While they were counting, the waiter brought the change and said that he had accidentally counted two tables. (We were alone!) There were two Russians and our Tajik friend. He told us that in taxis and cafes in Tajikistan they try to cheat visitors, but in a week it was the only case, because you have to be a complete idiot to cheat when you see that a local resident is with us, and the amount of fraud is significant.
I do not recommend this Chocolate Maker to anyone!!!
We were in the chocolate shop on 02.12 at 13:30, we wanted to have a snack and go on a walk around Dushanbe. I used to be in a chocolate shop and everything was always fine) I didn't like it terribly this time.
The food in general is ok. But I was very unpleasantly surprised by the service 🥵 I ordered pancakes with ham and cheese, waited a long time, as a result, the waiter brought pancakes with cheese and spinach 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ there were two of us, so I thought that these were not mine and sat waiting further. It turned out to be mine. I told the waiter that I ordered others with ham and cheese, and these, I think, with spinach. To which the waiter replied that everything was correct, these were pancakes with ham, cheese and spinach. (?) I replied that there was no spinach on the menu, it was a separate item, I ordered with ham and cheese. The waiter said that yes, the menu was not written, but that's right, it's ham, cheese and spinach. The ham is just finely chopped inside. 😳
Honestly, I really didn't want to arrange a showdown over such trifles and sort things out, and I really wanted to believe the waiter.
But of course there was no ham inside, it was pancakes with cheese and spinach. Cheese and spinach were also punched into the receipt. And to my comment that it was still the wrong pancakes, the waiter played the fool and replied something like: "Oh, yeah?".
To be honest, I am shocked by such arrogance and lies. There are no complaints about the pancake, damn like a pancake, ok. But you can't lie so blatantly in the face of a client. It would be more correct to honestly apologize and admit that I confused, forgot or something else. Maybe I would have agreed and the damn thing wouldn't have to be changed. Well, everything happens, that's right here. But when they try to make a fool of you, it's terribly unpleasant and not right.
Terrible service, don't set foot here anymore!
P.S unfortunately I do not know the name of the waiter, a young skinny guy.
Clean, cool indoors, delicious lemonade - that's where the advantages end.
Baby potatoes are just sliced potatoes. The porridge was cooked for 40 minutes. The beef was terrible-tough and dry.
