Great new hotel. The area is the old town. Crooked streets, old houses, authenticity is just over the edge. We took an enlarged room, but I think the usual one is good. It's quiet (sometimes the local Speedy racers really rush around). The breakfasts are delicious. The choice is limited (the hotel is small), but everything you need to have a delicious and satisfying breakfast. The omelet is made with different fillings, there were porridges, the milk was great (kaymak just flies away), fruits and vegetables are all delicious, samsa is great, coffee too. We were in January, I was afraid that we would freeze. But a powerful air conditioner for heating solved all the problems. I recommend. As well as Samarkand itself for 2-3 days.
Life hacks:
1 in five minutes, at the exit from the old town, there are a lot of shops, you can buy food and everything else cheap. And eat.
2 I recommend the Samarkand restaurant. It's beautiful and delicious and, oddly enough, quite inexpensive. He eats a lot of locals. And we have almost no such restaurants (there are several halls with 500 seats in total)))
Thank you for our stay! The food was delicious, everything in the rooms was brand new and clean.
I want to draw the administration's attention to several things, and I understand that some of them are already difficult to fix.:
1) the beds seemed too hard
2) the bathroom is cold, without heating. It's chilly in January, to put it mildly.
3) the tourist tax at the reception should be discussed upon arrival, not at the last moment
4) the locker room of the spa complex is covered in water and mold. Provide ventilation!
5) the sauna is heated at 110-this is too much, it's already extreme and there is no question of pleasure. I advise you to adjust it to no more than 100 degrees.
6) The Jacuzzi and pool are cold
7) the hammam was not working
Friends, you have a lot more to grow. Everything will work out! Good luck and thanks for the rest
