In general, the place is just a cannon. The cafe staff are just huge fellows. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable (as in Moscow). The transfer is simply super-organized. The beach is clean. Free sun beds. There is something to do during the day. (interesting excursions, a separate respect for the team of guides).for those who like to fall on a mattress, there is a tent camp where you can also have a good time if you wish.

A piece of paradise. There are bungalows and there is a tent area. You can only get there by boat or by boat. Boats take you to both sides of the bay. It is better to leave the cars on the far beach of Musser. Boats go from there even in rough weather. Tourists arrange dances in the cafe. The tent camp is quiet and there is no music.

Be sure to visit Shlypra when you are in Abkhazia. It's a very beautiful place. The passage through the caves is a bit creepy, because there are very low passages. But the sunset at the other end of the cave is the most gorgeous.

The sea is beautiful, you need to swim there when there are no waves, dolphins come along the way.
The coffee is delicious, brewed in Turkey, good meat in Abkhazian, salad, just chopped local vegetables.
Khachapur, it's just a shame. There was dough for bread somewhere, tired cheese ran next to it, they were combined and baked, a sad flatbread with cheese. It's a very long time, we have to go early in the morning.

Paid reviews. The food is just a total horror. The guides say that you need to order an hour in advance, in fact this food is already ready and it is simply heated, the result: the food was not heated to the end and it was cold. The food itself is not tasty, in any canteen it will be much tastier and 5 times cheaper. In fact, ordinary monopolists who understand that tourists will have nowhere to eat, and they are unlikely to return to the island yet (because it is terrible), then they cook accordingly, and break the price tag.
The meat is not tasty, there were 3 pieces in the Adjarian meat, chakhakhbili was served cold. The beach is also dirty, the water is dirtier than in the same Gagra. The spring water, which is supposedly the purest - do not drink it in any case, was caught by rotovtrus (I had to do droppers so as not to spoil the rest completely) either because of the spring water or because of the water on the beach. But it is absolutely certain that the vacation was almost ruined because of this charmingly terrible island.

Some disadvantages !
We arrived on the ship Tkuarchal , on arrival we were put into old boats , which were taken to the so-called island , which it is not.
They left it for 4 hours , where there is only one cafe where there was disgusting food , which we watched as the child became ill after these dishes )
They brought us there only to show us one tree , to take us through the cave , but surprisingly the cave was very fascinating and it was interesting to wander around it , and the sea was dirty , there were a lot of wasps flying everywhere that it was impossible to even sit quietly anywhere , but they brought us to this Cave just to they took off the money and left us there for 4 hours , where there was nothing to do , that all the people wanted to get to the ship faster and go home )
Absolutely tricky time allocation in order to make more money at this cafe , and they gave an hour for Pitsunda (the second stop ) , which was super small , but there was more to see than at this place
I'm terrified of this hell.

We arrived in the afternoon, I really wanted to have a snack, I ordered a barbecue. I wish I hadn't done that, it turned out to be tough, the meat wasn't chewed, as a result, even the temporomandibular joint got sick, now I'm being treated, this turned out to be a vacation in Musser. So I do not recommend a barbecue in this cafe! The best barbecue is in the Meat Yard in Sukhum, mmm, it's so delicious!!!

It was in July 2022. I liked it very much. The place is magical in its beauty. The people and the residents and the staff are all sincere and very pleasant. The prices are written in Moscow, I live in Moscow and believe me, you will not find such food in a cafe with alcohol for the whole day for TWO, we gave up to 2,000 rubles! Three meals a day, beer, snacks and chacha and wine in the evenings. In this money for two. And everything is delicious! We also lived in bungalows. Yes, everything is Spartan there, but you don't go there for comfort either, you have to understand that. Nature, the sea, the air, the people, the very atmosphere of this place energized me for the whole year! We also lived in a tent, this is also our high. I'm going there with my daughter this year. I've already bought the tickets.

The place is called Shlypra Island, because it can be reached by boat or on foot for 3 hours running along the rocky shore.
There is a restaurant with a small selection, but everything is cooked very tasty!
You can stay overnight in a bungalow or in a tent. Out of comfort, the toilet is an outdoor hole system))) but there is a hot shower with a sea view 🫶🏼
In short, the place is cool.

I think it's a good idea to come here with a tent and live, so many people do. You can only get there by boat or by swimming from the nearest beach))
I supplement the review, a year later I got to this place again, it turns out that you can get there on foot along the rocks from the beach from the fish factory) the path is certainly not quite simple, there are large stones and small rubble in places along the way, which makes it a little difficult to hike, you need to move carefully, climb over them)

The place is good, but bringing tourists with excursions spoils everything-dirty foam in the sea. The cafe has a different menu for guests and locals. Prices are more expensive than "on the mainland". The vacationers there are very friendly! There is a toilet (Spartan) - a hole in the ground, a shower on the beach. There is spring water with crustaceans. My husband wanted to rest there, but I didn't) But I recommend you to visit.

The cafe staff wanted to kick us out for bringing fruit to the beach. They shouted to the captain, "Take them away, we don't need them here." At the same time, we were going to have breakfast and lunch with them, and eat fruits on the beach.
Food in the cafe:
Disgusting kitchen, all the food is frozen 100 times, French fries are wet and cold, khachapuri is all cold and a thin layer of cheese, also apparently from the refrigerator, pancakes are also frozen and as if they had already stood 5 days before us, the rest of the food is the same, the only thing that was not spoiled is the scrambled eggs. The rest of the food wasn't fresh either. The waiters do not approach, they behave lazily and show their attitude towards the guests. The dishes are brought every other time, you have to ask several times.
Beach:
They promised us sand, a pebble beach, strewn with branches. The toilet is dirty. 7 sun loungers for the entire beach and 4 umbrellas.

It's the only way they cheat. The food is ordinary, but very expensive in the cafe. The boat is a disgrace to Abkhazia.In the evenings, the cafe is filled with local guffaws all over the island. With the prices in the cafe, by the way, there is generally a complete mess, both for locals and for tourists for the day, no one understands anything there, and just in case they beat up more expensive.
