Great school! I don't know about advanced surfers, but for beginners it's just great! The location is also convenient - not far from both the spot and the parking lot from the school. All instructors speak Russian. I felt good progress after individual classes (thanks to Kristina) - definitely I should combine group and personal training for the future, especially when the vacation is so short, and surfing is so wonderful and I want progress so much..
Perhaps the best school in the south of Tenerife to try surfing for a Russian-speaking audience. I went over the Internet, but there is no decent alternative with Russian-speaking coaches, among the competitive advantages: the ability to record and pay via the Internet, early start-the first training session at 07:30 (and this is 09:30 Moscow time): and then the day is free and there is no need to look for parking by the beach, by the way it is free in 3 minutes from the school, and all other schools start at 09:00. The analysis of errors by photo after the lesson is informative. Alexander is a competent and likeable coach, I recommend it!
Greetings! I visited this school in March 2019, took accommodation in the surfhouse and lessons. I was satisfied with the time spent. About the surfhouse... located on the mountain, 10 min. drive from the beach. A quiet place, great views of the city and the ocean, a great terrace for breakfast and dinner in the open air. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, cleaning every day, clean. There is a transfer for lessons to school. About the surfing school... it is located 3 minutes away. walking from the spot. The hostess is very friendly, professional instructors. I haven't ridden the ocean for 3 years, even though I ride in St. Petersburg in the summer, so I took lessons to remember my ocean skills. A big plus is that video and photo shooting is carried out, you can look at your technique and correct mistakes. It is more suitable for beginners and insecure surfers. After 2 lessons, I was already riding separately from the group. So I recommend it!
If you want to learn how to surf or hone your skills in Tenerife, then you will not find a better school. But after surfing in the Indian Ocean, I can't surf anywhere else anymore. Except for him) The Atlantic has generally faded into the background. But this, as they say, is a matter of taste!
#TenerifeSurfPoint is the coolest school, try it, don 't be afraid, experienced instructor Alexander explained everything clearly, showed me how to teach 🏄♂️from the first lesson , I succeeded 🏄🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
Hello everyone
On August 28, 2019, Kristina took her first surfing lesson at Surf Point School.
Kristina gave an introductory briefing, explained the technique of getting up on the board, safety precautions, proper movement with the board, proper entry and exit from the water. During the lesson, Kristina was always there, prompting, encouraging, answering all questions. It was very comfortable and pleasant. This is very important for the first lesson. We are looking forward to the next training sessions.
It's a good school, almost all the instructors speak Russian. I liked Alexander the most, he explains well and helps on the water. The only downside is that the shower didn't work all week.
The disadvantages are obvious:
1) there are so many reviews because the owner Christina herself set the rule: you will receive photos from the lessons only if you leave a review
2) a dangerous spot with a lot of rocks, reefs
3) so-so training, if Kristina teaches more or less, then Vlad, York and Spartak do not know how to explain at all
4) the wetsuits are washed by the students themselves, in just two buckets of water (no hygiene)
5) the owner of the school herself smiles in everyone's face, and can say nasty things behind her back, not as simple as it "seems"
I do not recommend this school to anyone. Well, or I recommend it to anyone who wants to be disappointed in such a wonderful time as surfing
