The children did not study here for long, but the school and teachers made a good impression. High academic requirements. As everywhere, there are not very good teachers. Overall, a good school.

I studied at this school when it was the economic lyceum of Talgar. According to most indicators, and first of all, in terms of the level of training in basic subjects, the fourth was one of the best schools in the city. But the main hobby was additional subjects such as economics, management, accounting, office work, chess. I'm not even talking about the fact that Director Galina Ivanovna has been able to invite volunteers from the USA for several years in a row to teach us additional English. I don't know how she did it, but she did. Thanks a lot to her for this and a low bow. Can you imagine a US citizen, Mr. Joseph Boner, living in Talgar for a year in the mid-90s and teaching English at a regular school? And then another one, Mr. Chen, for 2 or 3 years. Can't believe it? And it happened. It's a pity that then the whole idea of the lyceum was covered with a copper basin. Galina Ivanovna was removed from the directorship (there was some kind of noisy story with her resignation. It seems that they framed her somehow and suspended her, pushing her to the top of their frame. I was a schoolboy, I don't remember the nuances). After the change of the director, the lyceum slipped into a regular school in a couple of years. No Americans for you, no economics with chess. Learn the Kazakh language in depth and march on the NVP. Exaggerating, of course) The school remained good by Talgar standards. But those breakthrough pedagogical experiments no longer smelled. At least during my training.
I have not been to my native school for a long time, and I will not dare to assess the current state of things.
I am glad that, judging by the reviews, the toilet has finally been moved inside. It's about time. 2020. Although, there are one fewer locations for a smoke break of modern schools.
I hope we managed to save the wonderful apple orchard, one of the attractions of the 4th school. Oh, how much was experienced there).
I hope that we have made a decent dining room for schoolchildren and they do not have to buy a loaf of bread in a bakery and divide it for everyone, filling it with ketchup and mayonnaise.
I would like to express my gratitude to the entire staff of the school for spending so much effort, talent and patience trying to make us civilized people, despite the resistance of most of us. And I ask modern schoolchildren to take care of the school - it is the coolest in the city.
Graduate of 2001!

There are very good teachers at this school who can find their own approach to everyone. All teachers explain well and prepare for Sores and Soches.I am very grateful to them for their work😊
