I really liked the castle! I did not regret at all that I walked from Montreux: along the way there are picturesque views that you will remember all your life. The castle, the most visited in Switzerland, turned out to be bigger than I thought, it takes a lot of time to explore it all. Unlike many other similar attractions, almost all rooms of the castle are open. When I bought the ticket (15 francs on April 12, 2025), I was given a booklet in my language with a description of the castle premises. You can rent an audio guide for a fee. There are toilets both in front of the castle entrance and in the castle itself.

It is definitely worth visiting the Chillon Castle when you arrive in the wonderful city of Montreux! Walk along the famous promenade from the city center to the castle for about an hour, enjoy the air and a variety of plants and flowers, cleanliness and beauty. There is an opportunity to take an individual tour in the castle, as well as take an audio guide in various languages. Set aside from 1 to 3 hours for the castle to carefully immerse yourself in its history and experience all the splendor. Do not miss the entrance to the tower, which offers a fascinating view of Lake Geneva. On the territory of the castle there is a shop, a cafe, a wifi area, and restrooms. In summer, be prepared for a large flow of tourists. Have a nice walk😊

A very interesting medieval castle with amazing views of Lake Geneva. Parking for cars in front of the castle is free, a ticket to visit is inexpensive. Set aside about two hours for the examination.
