One of the best hotels in Egypt. Varied food, well-mannered, friendly staff, well-groomed, huge territory.The city of El Gouna itself is new, modern, clean, different from Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh. The hotels are more comfortable and of a European type. But, and more expensive. The city consists of numerous canals and bridges. I visited El gouna for the 3rd time. The city did not disappoint me. We were pleased with the opportunity to surf and kite, or take a romantic boat trip along the canals.

Sheraton Miramar El Gouna Hotel 5***** It is located on 9 islands connected by pedestrian bridges, in the amazing beauty of the town of El Gouna (Egypt, Red Sea). Sheraton is probably the largest hotel in terms of space. And one of the most worthy places for a quality vacation. The spacious rooms after renovation are equipped with electronic controls. Free safe. The bed linen is snow-white. A huge bed, 4 pillows of different stiffness and filling. Bathrobes, slippers, very high-quality cosmetics in dispensers in the shower. A powerful hair dryer, lying separately in the closet. We also had an ironing board and an iron in our room. Coffee machine (the first trial set of capsules and tea are provided free of charge). The minibar was replenished daily with soft drinks (diet coke, merinda, tonic, etc.) and packaged juices of 0.33 ml mango, guava, orange, etc. From the room we had access to a huge terrace where there were 2 hammocks, a table and ottomans. The room is on the 1st floor, right in front of us there was a beautiful view of the lagoon with a gentle sandy entrance. Every morning, the hotel staff carefully spreads towels on the sun beds for vacationers. There is a bar nearby, from where you will receive both morning lattes and cocktails). There are wonderful guys working at the bar who immediately remember your preferences. The hotel has direct access to the sea, as well as several lagoons. The water is an amazing color that changes at low tide and becomes even more turquoise.... An indescribable beauty. A wide beach line, sun beds at a sufficiently large distance from each other, they are enough for everyone and no one bothers anyone. The entire territory of the Sheraton is very, very green, a huge number of large trees, shrubs, flowers, and even in the heat there are no dried plants, everything is watered, trimmed and cleaned on time. It's just a pleasure to walk around the territory. There is a track for those who like to run). In the evening, the hotel turns on soft lighting, which gives a special romanticism. It should be noted that there are very few children in the hotel, and this is a huge plus. Also, this hotel is a favorite among the Germans. There were 90% of them during our vacation. Everyone is friendly, tactful and courteous. The hotel's restaurant has a large number of seats both inside and outside the premises. It is located in the main building, where the reception is. Excellent quality and variety of dishes, delicious pastries. Fast waiter service, and always with a smile). And even if for some reason you came to the restaurant even 10 minutes before closing time, no one will look at you with displeasure, but on the contrary they will offer you the most convenient table and drinks. And on the buffet, even at closing time, there is always a choice of dishes, you will not stay hungry. Many thanks to the boss and the whole team for the high-quality food and super-service. Right there, near the restaurant, on the street, animation and musical performances by invited artists take place in the evenings. The bar is open 24/7. There is a list of cocktails and alcoholic beverages included in the ultra all inclusive concept. I would replace some cocktails with more delicious and popular ones, but, as they say, "taste and color ..." :)). Light bottled beer is very decent, by the way. In the main building, on the 1st floor, if you turn the corner from the restaurant, you will find shops where you can buy everything you need. It should also be noted that the hotel has a marina nearby, from where it is very convenient to go on excursions or just walks along the beautiful canals of El Gouna.
