It's a terrible place... The rooms are all in very poor condition. Everything on the territory is also very tired, no one is taking care of it. The food is not varied. Huge queues at every meal. We do not recommend this hotel. The animation is bad. There is no adult program. The reception is very stuffy, the air conditioners do not work. There is no beach, from the word at all.

We had a vacation with a friend in July 2019. The rest was a great success, the animators were funny guys, well done, they did not let you get bored, the buffet was good:it was all meat, fish, fruits, and vegetables, and desserts of course) it was a little hot, but in the heat we hid in the shade, so the norms. We got a beautiful tan, we didn't peel off, which we were very afraid of in such heat. In general, we received a lot of positive emotions, this vacation will be remembered for a long time!

A good place for an average vacation.Accommodation in separate rooms is nice, but there are tiles on the floor and with a child it is dangerous, cold and uncomfortable.The shower was clogged by the last day...The reception is not very active in understanding the problems, you need to wait at least 3 hours and remind them a lot, otherwise they don't care.They did not give a child's bed, and only in the evening, after 3 reminders, at 1 a.m., they brought not a child's bed but an ordinary bed (although they had them, as we later realized.It was necessary to put a large bed for two adults (otherwise the tile and the child may fall off the bed)
The food is normal, a lot, varied, there is no porridge except rice, omelets are undercooked in front of your eyes) fruits,pies are good, cape, fish-there is plenty of everything..But the crowd is terrible!!!!Drinks-only lemonades and cheap alcohol (tea /coffee only in the morning)
I didn't like the animators!!
The sea is covered with grass at times (but it is cleaned a little), there are few sun beds, people take towels at 6 am((
The pools are good, flowers, souvenirs are expensive at the hotel, it is better to buy at the airport

It's a pity that we didn't believe the real reviews...This hotel is actually very dirty almost everywhere.We tried to turn a blind eye to everything, but the restaurant...more precisely, the canteen is a HORROR! Tables, chairs, plates, and utensils are dirty and greasy. Flies in large numbers on people, on tables, climb into food. It is mainly the French and Arabs who rest there. There is even a separate restaurant for them with wine glasses, a pastry and white tablecloths. There are very few Russians and our brother is the last to be served. There are very arrogant bartenders in the bar where alcohol is poured. They're trying to sell alcohol that we've already paid for. We liked the food and drinks.There is a lot of different meat, there is fish, and the desserts are very tasty. The bungalows are good, but not all, it is necessary to negotiate. Our vodka and bucks come to the rescue.The sea is like the sea. This is the hotel I would not recommend to anyone. Other Tunisian hotels may have a different situation

If you have money and you can fly somewhere else, then fly, but not to this place.This is Monastir, and this is the Shems hotel (here, of all the good things that I can say, this is the sea, the territory is well maintained and the beach. That's it....A lot of negative and terrible things happened to many of our Russians here.I will say that one out of ten was lucky with the number.

Everything is here for the French and the Arabs, the Russians are here ...........the ratio is below the baseboard.

You arrive and are given a plastic card.You go and think that now you will enter the very room for which you paid a decent amount.But, as it was with me and many people with whom I managed to communicate, come in, and people live there.And it's good if you come in during the day, when there are just suitcases and things.People came to me three times at night in the second hour and I was scared to death.Well, that's how the reception works.It's a mess all around.
I will say my review for myself, I looked at the hotel and read the reviews and people wrote positive things.Yes, if you put 20-50 dollars at the reception, then you will be accommodated in a decent bungalow.If not, congratulations, for my sum of 53 tons, I lived in a stable.You just can't call it a dungeon, it's a stable for horses with ants.There was only one air conditioner in the room.
No fig, no TV, let alone a refrigerator, just a bed and two armchairs.Even I had to knock out the safe with scandals from the staff of this hotel.They brought me to tears, I sat crying because the number in the photo did not match mine at all, which they gave me, my bungalow was just sold for money..as I wrote above.
For two days I went with documents and money.Because you can't just leave anything in the rooms, they'll steal it.Everything of value is in the safe.
The dining room in general.There are no words.The plates are dirty, they don't have time to wash and put them out, the queue is a kilometer long.Of the fruits, only apples, plums, peaches and melon.Everything like that ...as for pigs, in short...
and places in the dining room need to be occupied by those who managed to sit down.The food is so-so, everything is spicy and seasoned. Of course, you need to get used to such food.As a result, all my friends have diarrhea for three days.Well, I have...
nowhere to go here, you are chained to housing and the sea, that's it!!!And excursions.This is a typical line of hotels by the sea.If someone wants to be in a busy place and live to walk around the city and the market, then it's better not to go here either.
The rest was a success, of course, because I didn't want to go home like the others.People were leaving today and we agreed to leave a review about this hotel.So that our Russians know what awaits them here.Ten arrivals in 10 days of rest and everyone is dissatisfied with the attitude and disgrace with the settlement.I am very disappointed in this hotel.Choose any other one, just not this one.Look at the location next to this hotel, they say even in Sousse is better.In general, it's just a mess because I'm writing this review now and three hours ago, when I was resting in my room, and I was lying naked, two men came to me and said that they were given the keys to this room..Imagine now what it's like...not counting the two night raids of the same kind...

The location is in bungalow houses, everything is there from the pool and slides to the golf course. The downside is the service sucks, there are a lot of Arabs, it's a little dirty.
