The guys are chatting beautifully. That's all. The smell of the wine is almost the same (no berries, no fruits, no skin, no flowers in the aroma). The density is like water (I was told that you can not determine this by a glass, but believe me - you can determine it even by less than what is poured for tasting). If someone likes it, buy it, I do not dissuade, wine is a matter of taste and mood. But if you've drunk homemade wine before or even know a little bit about it, this place is not for you. By the tone of the conversation, the guys incline you to the fact that factory wine is not an och (all high-quality wines are factory one way or another, but they certainly know better), but they have homemade, they have been "on the market" for 9 years and people return to them. They say grape varieties, well done, they even call the aging time in a barrel, it makes some impression. But in the end, they pour almost sweet water of different tastes. This is not wine in the understanding of France, Chile or Russia. This is not wine in the sense of home winemaking (I have two familiar home winemakers, and it's a completely different density, a different smell, a different taste). It's just water, maybe the juice of real grapes, sugar and maybe powder.
People who have tasted wines from any country from KB more expensive than 400₽ - it's worse, really.
People who have tasted real homemade wines (yes, maybe with added sugar, maybe not from technical grapes (my grandfather does this for himself)) - it's worse, really. I do not recommend it.
P.S. The guys from the chateau. If I'm wrong and this is really a homemade wine that you're working hard on, I'm sorry for the assessment. And please, with the whole team, taste other wines (the most affordable are in Russia, we have a lot of official home wineries). Read about them on the Internet. Learn about how wine is evaluated, about tannins, alcohol, sugar, taste and smell. Maybe you're doing something wrong?
P.P.S. I'm not saying anything about strong alcohol, maybe it's good, I haven't tried it.
We stayed at the Boxwood Grove sanatorium, took an excursion to Sukhum, on the way the guide brought us to this institution for a wine tasting. In general, they sell their products professionally, they tried 8 wines and 1 chacha, I liked the Lykhna wine and the Bouquet of Abkhazia, which I bought, unfortunately, they gave me another chacha as a gift. In general, the wine is fake, we checked it at home, poured water into a saucepan and put a glass of wine, if there is wine in the glass, then it is real, if there is water in the glass and the red liquid dissolves, then it is a fake, which happened. I still had suspicions after the purchase, when we decided to take a walk to the backyard, and there were 5-liter baklashki lying around with a powdery consistency, I realized right then that it "smells fried", it was good that I bought 3 bottles, gave them 2800 rubles, people with liters came out of there, suspecting nothing. I strongly do not recommend this place, avoid it, they do not have such a mass production of wines, they do not produce anything themselves, the vineyards are only for themselves or rent to the Turks.
Delicious wine, pleasant staff) There is a delivery to the hotel, a good bonus when you relax in this wonderful country. Thanks, we've taken it more than once!
Always excellent wine quality. I bought it on the spot three times and ordered delivery to Russia once. I'm not looking for a winery anymore. I take it here with delivery to the hotel.
We were here in 2022 with an excursion, we didn't have time to buy anything. In 2024, we came here on purpose, bought a bouquet of Abkhazia and lykhna. I started reading reviews about this place, they say they sell shmurdyak here. I checked at home, the wine is real. The wine is very tasty.
The best wine in Abkhazia!!! That's my word of honor! I've tried it everywhere, but here it's incredible and it doesn't give me a headache. Every time they come to Abkhazia, they buy it here. Thank you guys
At the tasting, they tell everything beautifully.
The only disadvantage is that the prices are inflated when paying.
There is one price at the presentation, and another at the payment.
Today we went on a wine tasting tour. Since my friend and I drink only dry white wine, we were poured Chateau Bambora, 2018, a very beautiful amber color. The wine was very tasty, fragrant and, of course, we bought 2 bottles for 1200 rubles. After opening the bottle, we received an almost clear, very sour drink, without any sign of flavor and the wine that we were given to taste! People who do this kind of thing! You are a disgrace to both the wine and the country of origin!!! We really ruined the mood and the impression of the trip! Is it really necessary to humiliate your country so much because of 600 rubles per bottle!?!
Bambora in Abkhaz is a domovenok). The place is delicious). The wines are good, the cheeses are varied, you can buy teas from Abkhazia. There are souvenir products. We've been there many times. I recommend it! We like.
Good quality drinks, a large selection of wines, there is also a chacha cognac drinks all of its own production, clay containers for alcohol, handmade, cheese tasting, meat, excellent service,
you can pay for goods with a card, provide Internet via Wi-Fi, the staff is polite and attentive
Wine is just a bomb. I wanted to take everything with me.
Being at home, opening the wine in the evening, the wine is very soft, sweet, tender, like grape juice.
Fell in love ♥️😘♥️😘♥️
A beautiful colorful place. Very friendly managers. A variety of drinks and the opportunity to taste them, and later buy them. I was impressed by mulberry chacha. Delicious, interesting, but expensive. But in general I recommend it.
I've been there two or three times, I liked this chateau the most! They tell more interesting stories, they are cheerful and energetic, you can buy beautiful clay decanters
Homemade wine, homemade tinctures and chacha. Everything is flavored very well, but in fact, it's all like instant drinks. You can try it, but I do not recommend using more than samples. Tried, appreciated, the sediment in memory is not very good.))
I liked. The prices are acceptable. The wine is good. My men also liked Chacha (elite). A good selection of cheeses. You can try everything, and then decide on the choice.
Great alcohol! We took different wines, chacha, cognac. The quality is 10 out of 10. Polite staff, tasting, and even shipping around the world. There are gift bottles, it's not a shame to bring a gift in such, sealed with sealing wax. In general, only positive emotions after the visit.
Just like everyone else, they brought it, tried it, not bad. They took only one bottle, opened it, and there was such sourness.. It doesn't look like wine. At least it's not urine. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. It flew into the sink.
I don't understand who writes laudatory reviews here, it's either the breeders themselves, or the residents of the Russian hinterland who drink glass and cologne all their lives, so the swill in the chateau bambora and others like it comes to them)) if you want to drink wine in Abkhazia, buy factory wine. Otherwise they will poison you in such scams
A good shop, if you are passing through, it is right along the road, there is everything you need for a hotel: wines, cheese, teas, adjika and much more
For some reason it tasted better at the tasting.. Arriving home, I opened a dry red wine, after drinking a couple of glasses, I had a very bad headache, very drunk, even after shopping this does not happen. I'm very upset, my husband said flavored alcohol about cognac. The cheeses are delicious
The quality of the goods is at the highest level! The guys told me everything, showed me, and had a tasting. A wide range of drinks. A large selection of clay graphs. It is possible to pay by transfer to a card. Very reasonable prices.
The Brown Story
In 2020, we were there with an excursion from Krasnaya Polyana. Wildly delicious wine, kindzmarauli is gorgeous
BUT
already at home I realized that my stomach hurts, I decided that it was because of the trip from 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. The next day, I drank the wine that I brought from this winery and sat in the toilet with the most unrealistic frustration. Naturally, I didn't think about the delicious wine, but the next day the same thing happened.
Well, guess if there are such specific yeasts or something bacterial. It was precisely the red wine of Kindzmarauli
Of course, this will not happen from strong drinks, and they are also great there, especially tinctures and chacha, but be careful with wine, focus on your body
I would have gone there for a strong one, by the way, they have delivery in Russia
An excellent wine trading house. This is not the first time we have bought wine. And we come here specially for mulberry tea. This time we sampled mandarin chacha, feijoa.
The usual circus for tourists. An incomprehensible drink with the smell of Isabella grapes, bought as wine from Saperavi grapes and very expensive. A jug with a declared capacity of 1.4 liters, gave out a liter on the mountain.
An interesting place, colorful, you can take cool photos. But... we must be careful, because the offered tastings are very aggressive, designed for the flow of tourists, and the prices, to put it mildly, are too high.
An interesting place, a great tasting, I liked the wine "Bouquet of Abkhazia", I regretted that I did not buy it, I thought I would stop by and buy it a second time, but it did not work out.
It looks like wine, but it tastes like a magnet. Either I am a bad taster, or I am tempted by Spanish wine, drunk a long time ago, but I was not impressed in the Abkhazian chateau Bambor. Both salty cheese and dried meat are over-salted... But the presentation is at the highest level, yes!
The wine is gorgeous, the atmosphere is high, it's interesting to tell, but I don't advise you to take a lot with you (only if you drink everything in the near future, they don't let you cross the border (see the rules of carriage)), cognac and chacha fire.
The tasting program is usual. I personally buy wine in jugs for myself, since I started collecting them a long time ago, I bring two jugs from each trip. I have never been deceived with wine, I love Lykhny very much.
The horror!!!The food is too salty, harsh, and not fresh. Well, the staff is very rude. A dirty, smelly toilet.Any remark you make will be met with threats and reprisals.
I don't know, I'm not a big connoisseur of wine, but kinzmarauli gave jupi maybe that's how it should be, khvanchkara flew in like to her house, all the cheeses were over-salted. Except for one thing
