Judging by the photo in the lobby, the hotel is from 1972 and that says it all. Now you understand..is it possible to continue its description.Cleaning is daily, but bad..the floors are dirty, I had to ask them to wash better. The breakfasts are meager..very..canned fruits, omelets, pancakes, cupcakes are not cooked.. but good dinners. Fish, chicken, meat, salads, pastries...from fruits only watermelons. The plus of this hotel is the beach. You can leave the chalet in a swimsuit and go straight to the sunbed, which by the way should be occupied at dawn, because by 7 am it is already difficult to find it - Russian grandmothers do not doze)By the way, most of the sunbeds have been hiking since 1972, too, and all are broken))There is nothing to do in the evening, there is nowhere to go, except to pet cats on the territory - there are a lot of them there. If you leave the hotel to the left, after 200 m there is a supermarket with everything you need.. To the right to the ring there are cafes and an oceanarium further away. In general, if you do not pay attention to all the nuances, then it is quite possible to have a good rest.

I express my gratitude to the hotel staff. Arrived late (or early) at one o'clock in the morning. We met very well, friendly. At first they provided a room on the 1st floor in the chalet, but we asked for another one on the 2nd floor. Changed without any problems. The room is very cozy, it has everything for a wonderful holiday, Internet, a cozy balcony (even an ironing board with an iron), Enjoyed an amazing view from the balcony to the Persian Gulf, listened to the sound of the sea. The food is very good.We will definitely come again!

We rested in this hotel with children for the second time. The first time we were in 2020, we lived in a chalet. In February 2023, they lived in the main building, in a suite with a sea view. The hotel itself is quite simple, but everything is clean and cozy.I recommend taking a room in the main building with a sea view right away. The first time we took the cheapest room, naturally we wanted to settle in the gallery. But for $30, we then moved into a chalet with a sea view. The second time we immediately took a deluxe room, with a sea view in the main building, and we were generally accommodated in a two-room suite with two balconies at no extra charge! We were very pleased. The food is average, the choice is small, but there is always something to eat. But for a child of one and a half years, there is practically nothing except rice, sometimes there was just spaghetti, but more often they are in the form of pasta. Meat is most often insular, so with a baby you need to take something with you just in case. Our porridge in boxes saved us. Of the fruits there was only watermelon and canned peaches, pears, pineapples. Cleaning was done every day, gels, shampoos, tea, coffee, water were replenished daily. The main advantage of the hotel is its location. The first coastline, its own beach, a warm pool, a court, a playground. Dubai is 20 minutes away by taxi. Near the Oceanarium hotel.The staff is very polite! Therefore, in general, I recommend the hotel if you are in the mood to relax, and not to look at the stains on the towels and find fault with the little things.

We were at this hotel from 28.10.2023 to 06.11.2023, we usually rest at the nearby Oriental Sharjah grand hotel, but then we didn't have time to book it and decided to go to this hotel. Well, what can I say, both hotels are declared as 4 stars, but Carlton does not pull for 4, most likely only 3! We were in a chalet, on the 2nd floor with a sea view, the room cleaning is disgusting, the floor is not washed at all, after 5 minutes of walking barefoot after cleaning, the feet were black, the dust is not wiped, too, of course. They put soap, gels, shampoos, sticks, cotton pads, shower caps, toilet paper. On the first evening they saw a cockroach in the room, for me it's a terrible horror, I was very afraid to bring them home. We nailed him, of course, then we nailed two more during two evenings, we didn't see him again. But the very fact of cockroaches caused disgust for this hotel! Then the restaurant. There is food, the choice is small, but you will not stay hungry. For breakfast, porridge, cereal, omelet, boiled eggs, fresh vegetables, a couple of types of cheese and sausage cuts, tea, coffee, rolls, lunch, dinner -mashed soup, mainly rice, pasta, potatoes, meat, fish, chicken, fresh vegetables, salads, also tea, coffee. Only watermelon is fresh, and the rest is canned fruits, well, desserts. The tables are not wiped at all, the crumbs are still lying, it's unpleasant. Their cutlery is probably worth its weight in gold, they are not freely available. They keep them somewhere. That is, they will put a couple of appliances on the table and eat them and soup, and the second, and watermelon, well, or go and ask for clean ones. Well, about the beach - the beach itself is good, wide, there are no breakwaters (namely, I did not consider some hotels because of them), but the beach is poorly cleaned, there is a lot of garbage in the sand, the sunbeds are in terrible condition, all broken, there are not enough of them for such a number of guests, seats are already occupied at 6 am! Otherwise, you will be sitting without an umbrella, which is even less. And mattresses are terrible, greasy, dirty, all stained, it's better without them. And when they are cleaned, apparently they are not even cleaned of sand!Towels are given out once a day, that is, if you go to lunch, for example, you can't take them, and after lunch take dry ones, no, sit on the same ones. They need to be handed over before 19 pm. There is a cafe on the beach, but there is no ice cream or smoothies, I had to run to a nearby hotel. I almost forgot - on the second or third day of our stay at this hotel, we were covered with some small pimples that were still itching! In general, we will definitely not return to this hotel!

We had a rest from November 8th to 15th. It looks like they painted the fourth star for themselves . This hotel is barely even worth a three. The rooms are shabby, only TNT from Russian channels on TV, beach towels are torn, bed linen is dilapidated, the smell of dampness, in order to take an umbrella on the beach, you need to get up at half past six, the beach is opened at 7 a.m., and in the evening they close, so don't dream of sitting by the sea in the evening, well, if only you go through a nearby construction site.
Now about nutrition : everything is very sad ((( .The choice is more than modest, unripe tomatoes, only watermelon from fruits and that is not sweet, coffee from the tank, pastries for breakfast are the same every day. It's not tasty.
Of the advantages, only the sea, but this is not the merit of the hotel. I categorically DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!!!!
I am not a moody tourist, I have something to compare it with, but this hotel has already "broken through the bottom". Don't waste your money and nerves.

There was a fruit salad three times. Rooms are cleaned every day. The air conditioner is working. WiFi is everywhere. There are a lot of cats in the yard, but they do not interfere with living their lives. The territory of the hotel is clean, well-groomed. Almost only Russian speakers are resting. In general, rest, food, everything suited us! We are not capricious. The only negative for us was dirty sand, the child was not allowed to play in it (cigarette butts, corks, some pieces of paper). And the rest was wonderful for us! The sea upset us, at the end of our vacation there was a big storm, they were not allowed to swim😔
I advise this hotel unequivocally, but who has a budget for a more expensive hotel, to go to a 5* hotel, although it is not a fact that it will be better there.

It doesn't pull for 4 years exactly. And the price is not weak. Maximum of 3 years. Specifically what I didn't like:
1) poorly cleaned in the room. The carpet is stained all over, which are not washed apparently. And vacuuming is basically very bad. The number is generally "kind of tired". We lived on the 4th floor.
2) the food is very monotonous. Usually there is always chicken soup for a child in hotels. Not here. There was not a single day. And in general, soups are not very tasty. On the menu: pasta is very tasteless cooked, always this overcooked potatoes, overcooked fish in batter is not tasty (heartburn after it). Vegetables are given. Canned fruits. There is practically no meat. Boiled eggs are always broken. Instead of the usual normal scrambled eggs, there is always some kind of "mess" of eggs, everyone was indignant, no one ate them. Porridge on water, oh-very liquid, disgusting, oatmeal every day. Cheese is ridiculous, there is even a choice. Sausage in the morning is two kinds, terrible, the same every day. Once in 9 days they gave meatballs. In the evening, sometimes they gave goulash. The only thing that is delicious is rice (so I had to take it often). From drinks tea and coffee. There is no water. Even if you ask..even for a child, 1 cup..no! You need to buy it right here.. in the dining room!
3) the beach is not cleaned. We watched a broken large watermelon for 6 days. They were already leaving..no one has removed it.
4) if the windows of the room overlook the city, then at the bottom they (in my opinion) have some huge blocks from air conditioners (it's not very clear what it is), and they are constantly making noise all night..We came to rest to stay in silence, and here the noise is around the clock, and through the closed windows it is also very audible. They asked to give another number - they said there were no available ones.
5) every day at about 17h they start cleaning around the pool. And even if you are swimming with a child in the pool, they still begin to wash off the dirt with a hose from the surrounding area (from the tile)..and where would you think..to the pool..right at you..And it's useless to say anything..You're nobody! It turns out you would still swim, but you have to get out!
THE SEA IS GREAT, BUT THIS IS NOT THE MERIT OF THE HOTEL!

HARAM. prominat shopping is all a long way to go, about 10-15 minutes from the hotel. Rubles and cards are not accepted. Only eurushki and dollars, exchange them for their dirhams. At the hotel, the course here is normal. cleaning every day, 1.5 liters of water in the room, shampoos are replenished, towels are changed regularly every day. the staff is polite, but not executive. You won't stay hungry, we had dinner for breakfast, for lunch we stole food from breakfast and had lunch in the room, because of the heat I didn't want to go somewhere. We stayed at this hotel in September 2023. We lived in a chalet (rooms are not in the hotel building, but with a separate exit to the street)
I'll start with the pros:
1) the first coastline, in conditions of extreme heat, this is very important, it was convenient for us to run from under the scorching sun to a cool room in 30 seconds.
Soft sand on the beach, smooth entry into the sea.
2) delicious food, not to say that it is varied, but everyone will find food to their taste.
3) Very nice and friendly staff, good room cleaning
4) free buses to local shopping centers, and a bus stop with public transport is also close to the hotel.
Now the cons:
1) despite the ceiling-to-floor window, the chalet was quite dark during the day, the lighting was poor, the sconces in our room did not work. Plus, the dark-colored old furniture ate up the space even more and made the room look like a closet. It didn't spoil our vacation, so I'm not lowering my rating.
2) I was also upset by the behavior of the cunning visitors of the hotel, who already at 5 in the morning occupied sun beds and umbrellas with their towels and went to bed, thereby creating an artificial deficit. No one spends more than two hours on the beach anyway - it's too hot, so if everyone took up their seats upon presence, there would be enough for everyone. And so you come at 8 a.m. to spend an hour there before breakfast - there are no people, and all the places are occupied. Of course, the hotel management did nothing about this and did not monitor the availability of sun loungers.
3) the lack of a large amount of free water. This is a feature of the country itself, water is expensive there, so you will not find refrigerators with unlimited bottles of water, as in Turkey. They give out one 1.5 l bottle per day for two, the rest had to be bought, because in such heat you want to drink a lot.
In general, with all the disadvantages, we were satisfied with our rest and stay there, in terms of price-quality ratio, this hotel still deserves 5 stars, despite the above disadvantages.

We liked it. We were in the main building, overlooking the sea. Great view! Heated swimming pool. Your own beach with sun beds and towels.
