A great budget option. The hotel has been decorated since the 80s, but all the electronic equipment in the rooms is new. Quiet, calm, unobtrusive. The staff is friendly, they always help, there are people who understand Russian. The beach is excellent, the best among the coastal line. The food is excellent, the food is very tasty, we took FB, since we had a child, but we could also take HB, we ate too much. It is clear that there is no variety, but the choice every day is necessarily chicken, fish, beef in different cooking options. It is important to know that for late check-out, regardless of the time, only breakfast is counted on the day of departure, but if you missed dinner or lunch on the day of the tour, you need to indicate this and you will be rescheduled for lunch on the day of departure. You can also change lunch with dinner, talk in advance. Room cleaning is excellent, the advantage of having a kettle, cups, glasses, tea, coffee, sugar, dry cream in the room, replenishment daily, 1.5 liters of water per standard room. Supermarket is 200m away, on the left side. Every day, except Saturday, there is a free shuttle service to 2 different shopping centers. The schedule is given out upon check-in. Probably top for your money. The beach is gorgeous. There are a lot of sun beds, so you will always find a place. Entering the sea is a fairy tale. Perfect for kids. 100 meters waist-high everywhere. And the hotel itself is "tired". Everyone speaks Russian. As it should be in budget hotels, there are "pesky" sellers: "Come to our store, buy something from us."
Food is a fairy tale, you can eat, but with a fierce hunger. You will definitely lose weight. There are many cafes within a 5-minute walking distance. There are also many shops, if you walk for 10 minutes, you can get to a decent deli and stock up.
So, back to the hotel assessment. Of the advantages, there is a taxi that is very cheap and always free.
Cons: they take your passport before departure, but if you have a fight, they give it back. Beach towels are given 1 piece per day and you can come with it exclusively on the beach, if you left, then that's it, wait for tomorrow. I haven't seen a towel without holes.
The number is like a number. You can't take pictures in it, it's like it's from another time, but it's functional.
To sum up: the hotel is ideal for couples with young children, as well as for pensioners. But not for young people. I've never even heard music.
In total, they paid 150 thousand for 9 nights for two people. Top for your money.

The staff is friendly, they know a little Russian, but they speak English. There are small shops on the territory with clothes, jewelry, souvenirs and the most pleasant thing is inexpensive sweets, chocolates, mangoes and other goods. There are supermarkets, cafes within a 7-minute walk, and there is also an aquarium not far away. It takes about 30-40 minutes to walk to the amusement park and the water park. There is always a taxi near the hotel. The food went only for breakfast, it's not a bad buffet; vegetables, cheeses, toast, porridge, rice, pasta, canned fruits, donuts, muffins, juice, and more opened at 7:15 to 10:00, although written from 8 to 10. The room was provided for two with one bed, and we went to Troy with a child, you can order an additional bed for a child, but for an additional fee (daily), there are no toothbrushes and toothpaste, I had to buy in a store, as well as a weak pressure from the shower who likes warmer water, you can open one hot water to change the towels you need to leave They're on the floor. The hotel is not bad, it is located on the first line, near the pool and the beach. The food is quite tasty, although there is not much choice, but there was always fish and meat and chicken and salads, pastries and watermelons for lunch and dinner. The room was in the main building, cleaning every day, changing towels every day too, they gave one 1.5l bottle of water to the room every day too. The room has a small refrigerator, kettle, safe, large wardrobe, iron, scales, TV. There is a hair dryer in the toilet, but it is very weak. A wonderful hotel! Small, but very cozy and everything is at a high level! Excellent food, excellent beach and sea, do not regret the room with a sea view, it's worth it! We flew together with our daughter. I really liked everything! Buffet, rooms are cleaned every day. The beach is right in front of the hotel (we lived in a chalet). The pool is near the beach, the water is cooler than in the sea. We constantly hung out in it) there is a hotel nearby with a slide like in a water park, we also sometimes went to it (for free, they let everyone in). My daughter liked the slide there. The most important thing for us was the beach as in the bounty advertisement, so we chose this hotel. And you were not mistaken!!! The beach is its main advantage!!!!!!!! It was almost always empty, although there were people on the nearby beaches. There are a lot of shells, the purest water and sand. There is a photo zone made of stones on the edge of the beach. Photos are a bomb! On food: we took breakfast and dinner, you can change dinner for lunch. The food is not just insanely diverse, but it seems to me that in 7 days we took everything new every time. It is delicious, there is something to eat for both children and adults. In general, I strongly advise everyone! There is an amazing aquarium and 2 supermarkets nearby. There are also souvenir shops in the hotel itself: chocolate-covered dates, insanely sweet and cheap mangoes, magnets, etc.

We had a rest from 06.04 to 12.04.2024, We really liked everything! Deluxe room, quite satisfied. The beach is gorgeous, the sea is clean, gorgeous, I'm in love. The location is very good, 10-15 minutes to Dubai. There is a port nearby. To take a sunbed with an umbrella, you will have to get up early, but this is everywhere. The cleaning is absolutely normal, there is no mold in the room. Before leaving, I read a lot of reviews and got upset. But in fact, I had a great rest. There are 0 complaints about the hotel, although I am quite picky. The food is good, of course, without frills, but everything is there and the food is delicious! Some people write that the food is terrible, it's not true. Maybe these people have been vacationing in luxury hotels and are comparing. In the emirates, vouchers to such hotels cost from 500 tons. Great hotel, beach at your feet. The pool is excellent, there is a small heated one for children nearby. The food is monotonous, but we went on excursions to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, etc. Next to the hotel there is a public beach where there is a cool swing with locals you can play ball, all kind and polite. You can walk to the aquarium. The water in the sea is simply gorgeous. The room is cleaned every day.

The hotel, of course, is very tired and attracts more 3 stars than 4)
Positive:
The first line, the water is insanely clear and there are often marine life on the shore. We saw various fish, a stingray, starfish, a small jellyfish).
Not bad rooms for the price.
Minuses:
Very monotonous food, we took breakfasts and dinners (they can be changed with lunches). The menu has always been the same throughout the week, so I recommend eating at other establishments.
Beach towels have seen a lot, already frayed and full of holes.
I found the bedclothes with bloodstains (apparently, they didn't wash off) and a burnt blanket (apparently, someone put out a cigarette).
There are also a lot of chipped dishes in the dining room, which are not thrown away, but used further.
The attitude of the staff is very controversial, there are not very pleasant people working at the reception, who had to ask for an additional room key and a bathrobe. They don't provide anything themselves.
In the cafeteria, an employee swore at us that a one-year-old child eats by himself (self-feeding) and then he has to clean up after him. The type needs to be fed only with a spoon (that's not why we went to the hotel, of course).
There are also several shops at the hotel, the sellers of which are always standing at the entrance and constantly inviting them, which is also very annoying.
If you have a room with a view of the city, it will be noisy even with a closed balcony.
And there was also a problem with the sockets, as they are type G, and our regular plugs are very difficult to fit in there, even getting stuck. There are no adapters, bring your own.
On the last day of departure, they didn't want to give us water, so we had to beg for the baby.
Result:
Is the hotel worth the money? Definitely, as the trip was very budget-friendly.

A hotel with a private beach. We were in early December, there were not many people, there were enough sun beds for everyone. The sea was stormy for a couple of days, then we swam and the water was warm enough. We lived in a chalet, the room was large, the furniture was old, but good, the plumbing worked. There is a safe in the room, a refrigerator that is well cooled. There is no window, there is a large floor-to-ceiling glass near the door, but I had to close the curtain. In principle, if it weren't for the smell of sewage, everything is decent.
The food is not important, the breakfast is very bad. Besides porridge, hard-boiled eggs, questionable cheese , sausage, rolls in the form of croissants, there is nothing to eat. They saved themselves with toasted bread and butter. Occasionally there was an omelet undercooked. Tea and so-called coffee from the tank, the juice is synthetic, there is no water at all. Only 1.5 liters per day which is put in the room.
Lunch and dinner are more decent, you can choose something. Of the fruits, only watermelon, but delicious. Desserts are not numerous, some are edible. All this did not prevent us from gaining weight)))
Nearby the aquarium is not bad, there was a holiday and they let it in for free. We went to the supermarket, the prices are horse-drawn. It is cheaper to buy mangoes, chocolate-coated dates and fake Dubai chocolate in the hotel store. There is no alcohol in Sharjah. You can go to Ajman, there is an Oscar liquor store near the Ajman Beach hotel, there are many discounts and prices are cheaper than in duty free.
The cockroach did not come to us, but the neighbors complained. We went on excursions, we liked everything, especially the flower park, the museum of the future and the Sheikh Zayed Mosque. Only, there are clouds of people everywhere

There was a week in April 2024. Really the best beach on the coast. The small hotel was built in the 70s, but clean, tidy and renovated. Separate 5 stars for the staff, they will always help. Room service is above praise, especially for a 4-star hotel. We took two chalets with sea views. On the ground floor, they complained of a slight dampness in the evening. I liked everything on the second one. The rooms have standard bath kits: shampoo, gel, lotion, cap, nail file, cotton swabs, bathrobe, slippers, towels. There is a safe in the room, a mini-bar, a table book, standard booklets with a restaurant schedule, a blackboard, an iron, scales, a set of threads and an adapter in the socket by the bed. They cleaned well every day. For a family holiday, a quiet, great place with a wonderful, affordable location.

The beach is very close, leaving the hotel you find yourself on the beach. The hotel has its own sun beds, sometimes they are not enough for everyone, it is better to take them early in the morning. There are two small pools, one for toddlers. We were lucky with the room, a regular room was booked, but we were given a suite upon check-in. There are two air conditioners in the room, the room was cleaned and towels were changed every day. The staff speaks Russian, at least part of the staff. There is probably one plus here - this is the beach. The beach is quite large, not crowded, sand with shells, a comfortable gentle long approach. Out of 7 days, it was possible to swim only 2. 2. Towels are given out once a day - therefore, they lie on sun beds most of the day, and there are no people and sometimes there are also free sun beds. 3. 2/3 towels with holes. 4. After sunset, the beach is closed - you can't just sit by the sea and even swim in the pool.
Minuses:
1. Food. You won't starve, but everything is not delicious. Sometimes they even managed to ruin the scrambled eggs for breakfast. Due to the fact that the food is not tasty, everyone eats buns, especially children lean on donuts.
2. The cleaning is so-so, some corners in the room have not been washed once, they may not wash the cups or bring toilet paper, even if you leave it for tea. They say that if you don't leave it, then they don't even bring water.
3. There is no animation at all.
4. The hotel is very tired.

We stayed at the Carlton Hotel in late March and early April.
We were in the UAE for the first time.
Of the advantages :
1 great location
2 the beach itself with fine sand is super
3 The Persian Gulf is beautiful.
4 relatively quiet
5 the hotel has a shop with date sweets, very tasty. For a normal price. Sellers gave sweets to all passing people.
6 the staff is quite attentive. If you don't like the room, then honestly the next day they can move you to a better room. We didn't change it. Everything was fine with us.
7 The room's air conditioning did not fail
8 shampoos, gels, soaps - I replenished everything daily, no matter how many hygiene products were left.
9 towels were changed every day, basically.
Minuses
1 for me, the biggest fat disadvantage was nutrition. I'm not a pretentious tourist, in terms of food. I usually don't fall for reviews like "food for 3, poor, nothing to eat", but this was not the case. There was really nothing to eat on some days. There was a feeling that the cooks alternated: one day everything was delicious, the next it was completely inedible. There is a very very poor selection of dishes.

3 the hotel was undergoing renovation during our visit, my husband and I did not know about it. I couldn't sleep at lunch.

Would you come back to this hotel again? I think so, if the food had improved and the sunbeds from the umbrella and on the beach had been updated.

About the cons: the food is quite monotonous, only watermelon is made from fresh fruits, the tablecloths on the tables are dirty and they are not changed, the dishes are chipped, there is no clean drinking water in the dining room, 1 bottle of water 1.5 liters per day is given to the room, if an additive is needed, they offer to walk to the store.
We lived in a bungalow, to the right of the central building, if you look from the road, there is some kind of vegetable garden in this part of the hotel, there is no lawn, it looks so-so. The room is quite tired, the general air conditioning system on the street is making quite a lot of noise, it can be heard in the room. The bathroom had bloated paint and mold on the wall.
The sun beds on the beach are full of tin, at 8 a.m. they are already all occupied, perhaps in the evening, only those who are in the sun remain, there are not enough umbrellas, but in Egypt you can't really lie in the sun. There is no entertainment in the hotel, in the evening, unlike the neighboring hotel, the territory is not illuminated.
I will definitely not go here a second time, the hotel pulls a maximum of 1-2 stars.

We rested at this hotel from 26.10 to 03.11.2023. A nice hotel, but for a quiet quiet holiday. Music is not included, there is no entertainment. The beach is very nice, clean. Sand. The water is clean and warm. There is a cafe on the beach, for an additional payment you can drink cocktails, order a burger, French fries, soda. The burger is big, two adults can eat in peace. There are sun beds, we always found free ones. If necessary, the staff put more. They put mattresses on deck chairs. Towels are given out. The water in the pool is also warm. The maximum depth is 260 cm . Diving and jumping are not prohibited.
There were four of us. 2 adults and 2 boys 14 and 11 years old. We paid for a large room right away. We were put in room 308. Large, two-room. Two balconies, sea view. The room has a kettle, iron and ironing board. Towels were changed every day. Stocks of coffee and tea were replenished every day. For the bath, soap, shampoo, shower gel, body lotion are laid out. The air conditioner is adjustable, you can turn it off completely.
There are enough outlets in the room, but none of them fits our plugs. Take the adapters. The hotel gives, but he's all killed and sparks. Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo. There are three flat elements inserted into the socket.
We only took breakfast. There is no variety, all the time is the same. But they didn't go hungry. If lunch and dinner are not included in the tour, then you can eat at the hotel for a fee. It costs 58 dirhams per person. The four of us ate too much in a restaurant for 100 dirhams. There is also a Fairy Tale cafe, they have a good menu and delivery, ordered directly to the hotel.

We had a rest in early November 2024. Family of 4 people -me, mom and daughters (22 and 12 years old). A ticket for 8 days, we took only breakfast. .We booked 2 rooms with a view of the city, combined with each other. On the day of arrival, it turned out that there were no such rooms. There are rooms through the room, we were not satisfied with that. We agreed on another deluxe room with an additional fee (there are 2 rooms, 2 balconies overlooking the bay). The furniture is good, there is enough of everything. We lived on the 3rd floor, but in fact on the 6th. Daily cleaning, change of towels too. Tea, coffee, cream, water, hygiene products-every day for 4 people. The breakfasts are good and delicious (porridge, cereals, yogurt, 2 types of juices, hot, pastries). The staff is polite. The pool is cleaned 2 times a day. The beach is cleaned daily. There are enough sun beds for everyone. The water in the bay is at a comfortable temperature. Fish swim, turtle, crabs run...There is a shop at the hotel where they sell delicious mango, Dubai coffee, Dubai chocolate and sweets. If you leave the hotel and walk 9 minutes in any direction (right or left), you will come to a grocery store where you can buy everything you need. There are 2 transfers from the hotel to shopping malls. The rest was a success and was enjoyed by all family members of different ages. I highly recommend the hotel.

When you fight for every kilogram, the fewer temptations, the better… But I really love puddings, creamy is my top… Only fresh watermelon was given from fruits… Pineapples and peaches were canned… In general, I brought 1.5 kg😂😂😂
The beach is very nice!!! Due to the fact that the Pensionersky hotel is very calm, without parties… Then the sun beds are occupied at 6 a.m.… But we went out at 10 and 16 - we always found a place... It was a disappointment for me: 1. I'm used to swimming and relaxing at dawn, and here at 6.00 am the beach is full of people (and it gets light at 6.15am)
2. There was a low tide storm for 3 days and it is forbidden to swim... Out of 7 days - 3 without the sea... Only to wet the legs…
The staff is Indian-Pakistani... but there are no complaints…
I went on 3 excursions - sightseeing in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Oman ... I liked them all very much.. I took it from Tatiana at the hotel opposite Lavender… She also suggested several hacks…
1.Currently, in the UAE, you can pay in dollars in many places, so do not rush to change all the money… For excursions, in the Steam Train market, in the Dooty Free, in the Dubai Mall you can buy for $$.

A budget old hotel for unassuming tourists.
Almost all tourists are Russian, with all the consequences..
The old room stock, meals for three,
sun beds are occupied from 5 am (or even around the clock).
It is located far from the center of Sharjah, but there is a free shuttle service to 2 shopping centers.
When we were checked into this hotel, to say that I was disappointed is to say nothing..
We settled on the 2nd floor, in room 210.
2 separate beds, asked for one, offered to move.
The furniture and plumbing are old, there is practically no lighting, the Windows overlook the highway, it is very noisy, the room has an unpleasant smell of some kind of mustiness and dampness.
I am not a picky tourist, I have lived in Turkish 3*, but I have not seen such junk yet..
After several trips to the reception, we were still moved, however, the next day, to room 219 on the same floor.
This room is better (there is a normal 2-bed and does not smell damp), but it is also noisy and the bathroom also needs renovation.
I suppose there are good rooms in the hotel, but they are more expensive.
They were not allowed to change it even for an additional fee.
The food is also three-starved: breakfast is very meager, for me there was only oatmeal porridge, but it is impossible to eat it every day.
At lunch, the situation with the dishes is better, there is something to choose, but also modestly, not by 4 *.
Of the fruits, only watermelon.
Tea and coffee from the Titanic, like in a Soviet children's camp..
As the hotel guide explained to us, the 4 * hotel was given for being on the first line.
Of the advantages, I will note:

We were also bothered by the noise from the huge hotel air conditioner, which was located next to our bungalow. We didn't clean very often, the staff didn't bother themselves in this sense, they removed the garbage from the bins and, as I understood it, the cleaning was over. Bottled water, coffee, tea bags, sugar and dry.milk was always available. I was also surprised by the schedule of breakfasts and dinners in the restaurant, I had to check in the magazine every time which room we were from and how many people we were. The food, in principle, is not bad, you can choose what you like. Not far from the hotel on the right side, 500 meters away, there is a supermarket where we bought juice and souvenirs home, as well as bought a swimming circle, bought for dollars, money was not changed to their local currency. The beach is excellent on the shores of the Persian Gulf, white sand and a very shallow bottom, you have to walk a little and then you can swim. We were in the middle of October, the water temperature was 24.There is a paid restaurant and a couple of pools on the shore, for children and adults. The restaurant ordered various fresh fruit with ice, which is important in this heat. The daytime temperature is 32-36. We went on a couple of excursions, to Dubai and yachting on the border with Oman, the second tour is mainly for scuba diving enthusiasts, all the beauty, underwater. We went to the city in the evening, after dinner, it was a bit far, but not so hot and it was interesting to look at the shops and local residents. There are shops in the hotel itself, where we bought home chocolates with dates and chocolates, and in the souvenir shop a pair of T-shirts for ourselves and my husband with prints about the UAE for $ 15. We took a free bus from the hotel to SaharaMall, packed into the bus like herrings in a barrel, it arrived already with passengers from another hotel, if I had known in advance that this would happen, I would not have gone...In general, the impression of this hotel and the trip was not bad, but the service wants to be better! In principle, I recommend this hotel, as I say, well, we can't live there, we rested and went home!!!

I would attribute the small territory and food to the disadvantages of the hotel. The territory of the hotel is actually the building itself, the beach and the pool. The food is monotonous, only watermelons are made from fruits. But you won't stay hungry. Unless, of course, you compare this hotel with the Turkish fives and even fours, then in general it will go. The price -quality is consistent. Well located: maritime Museum, aquanarium, marina to Dubai within walking distance (I recommend a much faster and cheaper taxi) the service is on the level, the food is fine. The beach, the service, is not bad. The room could have been better, but we only spent the night there. There is a main building (see the photo from the balcony) and a bungalow in an easier way, look for yourself.
