One of the oldest hotels in the city. The location is not bad, but... It is far from the pedestrian attractions of Harbin (Sophia Temple, shopping street, Stalin Park). Fatigue is present in many ways. But much is compensated by the gorgeous views of the Sungari River. There is a multi-kilometer embankment under the windows. The hotel has a swimming pool. Small but pleasant, plus a complex of saunas and small pools on the 3rd floor. There are two restaurants, the breakfast buffet is varied. The service is good.
I was at the forum in May 24. I was there a long time ago. The location is super , near the embankment, where you can walk , run , dance, etc., yes , with a few km long embankment, without cars, and just walk, walk and come straight to Harbin Arbat . The hotel itself is already tired, while the price for everything is at the level of a 5-star hotel. The service is polite, any whim, but this is understandable. For example, there is an iron and ironing board in the room, which in principle is not possible for hotels of this level.
The best hotel in Harbin! Excellent breakfasts of local cuisine and excellent service! The hotel itself is not new, but the staff tries to keep the conditions in good shape. There are several business halls. For breakfast, there is a huge selection of local dishes, from European only desserts, eggs and sausages. The staff is English-speaking, at the first visit they suggested where the nearest branch of the telecom operator is. There is an ATM inside for those who have Union cards. In general, I liked everything, I will come again
A good hotel, conservative interior, everything is decent.
One unfortunate incident ruined everything. 10 hours before the trip, we asked the hotel to arrange a transfer from the hotel to the airport with an invoice for non-cash payment to the travel agent, who settled us in this hotel. The hotel staff accepted the task and clarified the request parameters several times.
The result was that the guests (we were the 3rd) were dropped off from an organized car due to the lack of internal confirmations from the agent. On the offer to pay in cash with a receipt, the hotel refused to issue a receipt. We spent about 40 minutes figuring out the relationship, 3 of us with luggage were seriously trying to send a taxi in which the luggage did not fit (I attach the photo, it takes 40 minutes to go to the airport on empty roads).
In the end, we were given an organized car for the price of RMB300 with a check instead of the requested RMB450 without a check and told the driver to "drive". We managed to get to the airport 30 minutes before the end of check-in.
Personally, I don't set foot in this hotel anymore. The place where the guests are dropped off from the ordered transport has no credibility.
