Great location, the hotel is large, the area is clean, cleaning every day. There are many restaurants on site, so you can diversify your meals. An excellent seafood restaurant, the seafood is the freshest and they are prepared very tasty, the way you choose. The service is excellent, they always ask if you like everything and are always ready to fix or improve your stay. The massage is not expensive, it's just incredible, of course it's expensive, but it's worth it. Amazing Omani coffee, I often had it for breakfast, I really liked it! The buffet is varied: lots of vegetables, very tasty local grilled fish. Of the cons, probably only sooooo hot sand on the beach, even in flip-flops you walk like a hot coal)) therefore, it is better to take high-soled slippers with you. There is a lazy river on the territory, a special kind of lazy entertainment, we really liked to soak up and swim lazily in the sun. Stunning view from the room's balcony...you open the balcony door and immediately the sea...and such an indescribable beauty! I really want to come back again!
A great place to relax! A very beautiful sea, well-groomed territory, excellent swimming pools, a lazy river are a special pleasure for everyone: both adults and children have fun. Very hospitable staff, friendly, very customer-oriented, always ready to help solve any issue. Excellent cuisine wherever you go. The beach is very convenient, you can sunbathe under palm trees and there is always a place under umbrellas. We were very happy to be here!
Shangri La al Bandar is a hotel for a relaxing and measured stay. The audience is international and respectable .
The Al Waha building is more noisy, active, and child-friendly. Because we wanted a quiet, peaceful vacation, we chose the Al Bandar building.
I liked the service at the hotel; the reception area and the room cleaners work excellently. Restaurants and bars : they don 't always have time to cope if there is a large flow of tourists . It was like this on January 1-2 . Since January 3, many Europeans have left, there are a lot fewer people, and the service in the catering area has improved.
The hotel itself is beautiful, in an Arabic style. We found an Indian wedding - a stunningly colorful sight.
The only negative is the high prices for everything ( a glass of wine or champagne - 2.5 thousand , cocktails 2-3 thousand , ice cream - 1 thousand , dinner at Al Taron restaurant - about 8 thousand per adult ( without drinks).
And the sea is wonderful, warm, and there are always plenty of free sun beds.
