Everything is fine. The location in the old town, the presence of its own Parking for guests, beautiful comfortable rooms, polite and caring staff. It's just a pity that the restaurant and bar have stopped working in the evenings. But I hope they will reopen in time.
The hotel was wonderful until 2019, when we were last there - with a wonderful restaurant, gorgeous cosmetics and perfect staff.
Now in 2024, everything is not so - the restaurant is closed, cosmetics are noticeably simpler, the staff is rumpled. Yes, covid has affected, and even now there are not many tourists, but unfortunately, we will not go any more :(
I liked EVERYTHING. Although the word "liked" cannot fully convey the range of sensations that you experience when visiting this hotel. I have never stayed in such a beautiful hotel before, in which every detail is thought out and done with such love that it is felt throughout the entire stay.
There are no rooms in this hotel, there are names of those in whose honor they are named! For example, we lived in the Ernest Hemingway room and this room was furnished as if Ernest himself had recently stayed here. Incomparable feelings of comfort, warmth and touching the beautiful.
Books, reading chairs and a unique fragrance are everywhere in the hotel.
Location on Bernardine Street (where the kettles are concreted into the wall at the corner), right in the historical center.
The breakfast is not a buffet, but very tasty and hearty, the restaurant immerses in the days of Sherlock Holmes and Mrs. Hudson.
The view from the windows of the room is beautiful: the roofs, the cathedral.
Free(!) parking in the yard.
