An incredibly beautiful place, gigantic green territories. The zoo is excellent, the animals are impressively cared for in solid-sized enclosures. Cats are very active, you can stand and watch them for half an hour.
One problem: it is physically painful to look at the dying stray cats in the zoo. Personally, I don't understand how in such an organization everyone can be so indifferent to seriously ill cats, which, among other things, can be dangerous for zoo animals. It's tough, to be honest.
We were in Seoul for the autumn holidays. Perhaps the best time to visit the Grand Park is very comfortable weather, dry, trees in autumn colors. On the territory of the park, which is quite large, there is a separate zoo and an amusement park, one day was enough for us to get acquainted, but we did not have time to go around everything. Taking into account the relief of the park (it slowly rises closer to the mountains), it is very convenient to climb to the top by cable car to the zoo and then slowly descend, looking at the animals. This way children get less tired, which is important if you plan to spend the whole day on your feet. According to the zoo, the variety of animals is sufficient, the condition and appearance are decent, especially the tigers and rhinos.
Entertainment park/There are not very many attractions by Asian standards, there are roller coasters, but they are low, it's the best for children, and if you want extreme sports, then welcome to Everland. Mechanical rides/carousels are good for children 6-10 years old, older children will probably be bored.
There are enough places to eat in terms of quantity and variety, mostly, of course, fast food with fried-overcooked, but there are also quite good restaurants with Korean cuisine where you can eat soup and bibimbap, just keep an eye on the degree of sharpness.
The zoo and the amusement park seem to be behind the same gate , but they do not intersect with each other . You can spend a separate day at the zoo and a day at the amusement park. The amusement park is small, convenient to access, you can get there by metro.
