A strange feeling remained after visiting this restaurant. I seemed to like the food, there are no special complaints. But there was nothing to compare it with, for example, I tried dolma for the first time.
When the bill arrived, it turned out to be much higher than we expected. Some items were more expensive than on the menu. The juice is listed on the menu as 800 drams, but the receipt has already reached 1800. The service fee is 7%, and the receipt indicated 10%. There were other dishes whose prices seemed higher to us than they were on the menu, but we either couldn't prove it there, or we agreed that we had made a mistake ourselves. For example, pomegranate wine cost 1,500 instead of 1,000 simply because it was not clear on the menu for which item the price was due to the location of the translation.
In general, they were not going to rewrite the check for all our objections. Even the service fee, which is clearly indicated in the menu as 7%, was not redone for us.
Everyone can make mistakes, both the customer and the restaurant, we all make mistakes. But the fact that the restaurant is not going to improve after this is not right.
I think the main focus of this restaurant is tour groups. And there's no one watching who's paying for what. So if you are an independent traveler, I advise you to avoid this place.
