We settled on the 7th floor under the roof, stuffy, there is a shower room in the corridors, the room is tiny, shabby, there are no bathrobes, accessories are scarce, there is no bidet, everything is old, the hotel level is maximum 3 stars. The next day, after an urgent request, they were moved to another room, more spacious, the level is the same. During the 12 days of rest, the bed linen has not been changed once! Towels were changed every day. The quality of the cleaning was also much to be desired. The food is not tasty, the quality of cooking is mediocre, people are crowded, they often could not find clean plates and appliances, it was always a problem to take a table in the main restaurant. Dirt and mess. As for the sea. The sea is clean, warm, but it was also a problem to occupy free sun beds, the coast was unequipped, it was impossible to enter the sea without special shoes, the child refused to swim in the sea, because immediately the depth and plus the impossible entrance. By the end of the rest, the child fell ill, had to go to a doctor, the diagnosis was incorrect and the treatment was prescribed incorrectly. As a result, it turned out that the child had contracted the Coxsackie virus, which became known at home, fortunately, after the onset of symptoms of the disease, we left the next day. We voluntarily refused the general transfer, because the bus takes 2.5 hours from the airport to the hotel. We took an individual transfer for an additional fee. Of course, the children's attractions, aqua and luna park are good, but everything else is very mediocre and in general, the entire service at this Selectum Family Resort SIDE hotel is not worth the money. Among other things, the staff asks for tips for each sneeze. It's kind of a nightmare. Summary: the level does not match the stated one, ten years ago 5-star hotels amazed and delighted with their level, but now.... We will not go to Turkey anymore.

I liked the hotel, it's worth the money.And the disadvantages can always be found, the main thing is the mood for rest.The hotel is family-run, so there are a lot of children!But on the 2nd day you get used to it, since you and your child are better off taking a room from the 3rd floor, but look that there may be problems with the elevator, we lived on the 4th and in the evening at rush hour only on foot!The room is not yet regulated by the temperature, you put it on even at +28.5, but it's still a double. Everything is great about food, you definitely won't be hungry. Alcohol is also good, even local, I have never been "sick". Of course, I recommend this hotel to my friends and family, the programs are rich, especially shows 2 times a week, sound, light, animation group, costumes...The guys were not stingy.And yes, the room was cleaned every day, we left tips and were friendly with the maid, so the bed linen was also changed every day, although it was supposed to be every 3 days (as the guide told us).Be nice to the staff and the rest will go like clockwork!!

There is, of course, something to find fault with. And in some pools, the tiles are slightly broken off, and the wallpaper in the room is painted in some places (after all, this is a place for parents with children), but I don't want to do this.
The staff is always ready to listen and help, it is convenient to move around the hotel. There are so many places where you can eat that you definitely won't stay hungry (there is even a 24-hour restaurant). A large number of refrigerators with free bottled water are scattered throughout the territory. There are many pools and several water slides. There are also a lot of activities for children, a favorite water park (it was closed twice for cleaning when we were there, which is also an indicator), an amusement park, a couple of children's centers (although we did not go to them), a room with slot machines (paid) and in general a lot of activities.
Cats and kittens walk around the territory, so you can always hear "kys-kys-kys" from residents of Russia. By the way, most of the staff, if they do not speak Russian, then they understand simple constructions in this language quite well. Oh, I also met a hedgehog and several lizards here.
Of the cons... Well, the on—site store in the main building is quite expensive. If it is possible to walk, it is better to buy something near the beach or outside the hotel. Although there are enough sun beds on the beach, you usually need to look for them in the morning. There are not so many people as there are people who like to work out with them in the morning. Even in our room, the button on the door worked incomprehensibly — you put do not disturb: the light bulb is on: clean the room. If you put it down, remove the number: do not disturb is on. However, the maid still politely knocked every time before coming in.
The food here is very tasty and even in two places: in the main building and in the area of houses. But in the ten days that we stayed here, in the area of houses, it has already begun to repeat itself. Yes, I'm overeager, what can I do.
The air conditioner worked a little strangely in the room: it seems that you set it to blow harder, but on the contrary it weakens. But, they got used to it. But nothing compares to the feeling of living in a house, when you can go out right in the morning and splash into the pool, which starts a couple of meters from the door. And come back in the evening, at about eleven o'clock, after swimming.
In general, I recommend it and hope to return here again.

Meal. Excellent!!! There is some commotion in the restaurant, the children are crying, but this is a children's hotel! I would like to mention the restaurant 24/7! Excellent service, always original drinks!
Number. We had a visit by the lake, silence, beauty! The cleaning is kind of strange, then they will come in the morning when we sleep, then they will forget to leave clean towels, and they will take away dirty ones.
Pools. There are indoor, shallow, medium and deep ones, which is very convenient!

I don't quite understand the concept of dinners, it was Italian today, but the food is the same. There is sour juice at breakfast, the tongue is not cooked, the fruits are not cut, there are no cherries / strawberries, only the alphabet. I poured the wine for myself and took the dishes themselves, too, I couldn't wait for the waiter. Elite alcohol often runs out. The 24/7 restaurant is very helpful in terms of food, cheesecake and Turkish breakfast are amazing!!! the service is not very good, to be honest, I don't even want to leave a tip to anyone. The bar staff in the lobby was generally surprised, they allow themselves to discuss in Turkish and laugh at visitors and sell non-original alcohol, although they were asked to pour a certain drink, pour a fake without warning. This is my sixth visit to Turkey, perhaps a crisis, or something else, but we have not met worse fives in food and service in Turkey. We had a family vacation in August 2023 and from 30.05.24 to 8.06.24. Therefore, of course, everything is in comparison. I liked it a lot less this time. It was a surprise to see the queues for food and the lack of plates)) they were sorely lacking. Apples, bananas, pears and watermelon are stable among the fruits, which were also followed by queues. No strawberries, no cherries, nothing like that. The sea was calm (on his last visit it was constantly stormy, I managed to swim in it twice). There were entertainments, but they were surprisingly boring. Again, I compare it with last year's vacation. What has remained unchanged is the absence of bracelets on the hands.
Regarding the staff: very, very friendly, always smiling, ready to help - it's very nice. Turks are generally wonderful and hospitable people. Room cleaning is excellent. Sun beds near the pool, by the sea are difficult to find if you are not on them in the morning. Many vacationers threw towels on the sun beds in the morning, and during the day they were not even present at them... Beastly. But with this, the issue was quickly resolved by the person who served the pool area. He was just putting away those long-lasting towels, thus freeing up the sunbeds.
PS: The previous two times we had a rest at the Cesar Resort hotel in Manavgat. It was great both times, but when you already know everything, it gets boring) and so we went to a new hotel for us - Selectum.

The rooms are poorly cleaned, ants crawl on tables and pillows. We were accommodated in a double room instead of a triple room. They agreed to go to the first floor only if they cut the withered leaves of a banana. The application was created, but not cut. Only after she went to argue with the senior manager, they cut the banana leaves, poured shampoo and changed the bedding. Our room was washed twice that day and wine and fruit were left on the table as a compliment.
The hotel is good for children. There is a luna park, but not all the attractions work in it. The water in the pools is cool. We went to the water park because of this once. We enjoyed our stay. 2 adults and a 4-year-old child. Sunset dinner by the sea.... Unforgettable. We had a rest in September, the weather and the sea were warm. The evenings were spent on attractions, the son was delighted, well, we had fun) The water park is also good, we didn't go to the kids' club, somehow we didn't have to. Drinks in the room in cans, refilled every day. They are powdered in bars, we have not tried alcohol except in the Ala Kart restaurant (excellent wine was served here). A nice hotel, but not a suite. It has everything you need for a good rest. The rooms are large and clean. The rooms in the main building even have a dressing room.
The food is quite varied. There are always 3-5 types of fish for lunch and dinner, sometimes squid and shrimp were given. There are no meat dishes to count, there is a very large selection. The fruits were watermelons, peaches, nectarines, apricots, apples, plums, oranges and bananas. Of the disadvantages, I can note that watermelons are not cooled. In the heat, you want something colder. There was everything you wanted from the drinks: in the main restaurant they pour delicious peach juice from bags, in the bar next to the reception they prepare delicious coffee and pour imported drinks, in addition to cocktails and standard drinks there is a delicious ayran in the bars outside.
I highly recommend going to an Italian a la carte restaurant. There you need to order from the menu. Everything we took was very tasty, especially the beef entrecote and seafood pizza.
It takes 5-7 minutes to walk from the main building to the sea. There are 2 towel pick-up points along the way, which can be changed at least as many times a day. It is very comfortable. There are many sun beds along the sea and you can always find free ones, even when the hotel is fully loaded. But it will not be easy to do this at the pools, it is better to take a sunbed early.
The entrance to the sea is a small pebble, further on the left side of the pier is a slab, on the other side this slab is more level. The depth begins about 4-5 meters from the shore and all people are concentrated very close to each other. It is better to go swimming in the direction where the motorboats come. It's free there, there are no people, boats rarely appear and you can swim safely. But getting out of the water is a bit difficult anywhere, personally I needed help.
The water park is large, it will be interesting for children under 12-14 years old, older people may not have enough adrenaline. The lunapark is very old, like in Soviet amusement parks. The roller coaster is not working. There are 3 attractions for adults - cars, a caravel and a ballerina. It's enough to go a couple of times for a rest and roll from the heart.
Animation, in my opinion, is weak, as well as evening shows, everything is designed for the inexperienced viewer.
If you are lucky with the weather, then you will like the hotel. The warm sea and the warm pool will make your stay unforgettable.

A great hotel, focused on holidays with children. The main building is newly renovated. Daily cleaning, change of towels, change of linen on the third day. The staff is pleasant and friendly. A variety of food. A huge territory. It's delicious everywhere. The beach is sandy and pebbly. There is a pier with stairs from where you can go down and dive. There are enough sun beds for everyone. The sea is a stunning azure color. On-site amusement park, water parks. There is a bowling alley for a fee. There is only one tennis court: the rackets are tired, so it's better for the players to take their equipment. This is the only complaint) Otherwise, it's a great hotel. We are with children (8 and 12 years old) I really enjoyed relaxing in this place.

I liked everything...and especially a huge well-groomed territory with a swimming pool and more than one, a water park with magnificent Slides, a Luna Park with bright Attractions. There are points throughout the territory where you can have a snack, drink soft drinks, prepare very tasty Cocktails, Ice cream of various types. The food in the restaurant is varied, the Menu is updated daily, Everything is very Tasty and Appetizing. There is a 24-hour ALA Carte restaurant on site, where you can order food from the Menu, which is important for Guests who are awake at night. The rooms are clean, Towels, there are a lot of them here, they are changed daily, cleaning, refilling the refrigerator bar also happens daily. We bought into the stories about the children's concept of the hotel and went with a 2.5-year-old child, we regretted it.
Of the cons:
1. Lack of service. A huge number of people, the staff does not have time to serve everyone. Starting from the bar, ending with room cleaning (I attach a photo of one of the evening queues to the bar). For two days in a row, the staff forgot to pour boiling water into the teapots at the beach bar. We did it ourselves.

Rested with my son from 15.08.2023-25.09.2023. A family hotel with a large territory. Designed for 3,500 people, be ready for this))) For dinner, there's an emergency, sometimes it's hard to find a clean table) There are no free sunbeds at 10 am, but there are plenty of towels on them))) But after 15.00 there are free ones) The children's playroom is very big and it's super!!! Animators are engaged in children) Luna Park is also good) There are children's performances at 21.00. I didn't like the children's water park, or rather it's just a Nightmare, there's icy water and my son caught a cold there. But my son really liked the children's pool with slides near the adult pool)
For adults, cool evening shows with artists, starting at 22.00)) Afternoon animation by the pool. There is a water park for adults, you will not find scary slides there, but it is quite possible to ride)
The food is good, there is a very large selection of everything and always) You will not stay hungry. There is a separate children's buffet.
Moreeee))) It's wonderful and pure) The entrance is pebbles, the first days the feet hurt, then we got used to it. It is pointless to buy coral, sand with pebbles gets under the foot and it is even more painful than without barefoot.
Our room was on the 7th floor with a wonderful view of the neighboring hotel and a side view of the sea. The mini-bar was replenished every morning. The bed was changed every day, cleaned every day and regardless of the tip)
The staff is obviously tired, but they tried very hard.
We went from an Intourist, I liked that the guide at the hotel explained everything cheerfully at the info meeting) and did not impose excursions)

A solid three. The food is tasteless, like pigs cooked and not watched. There is a lot of food. But it doesn't taste good. Only beer and ice cream are delicious. There are no animators in sight. The rooms are usually large. The entrance to the sea is rocky and uncomfortable - it hurts the legs. Everything is old. The hotel resembles a sanatorium. Everyone here is having a rest with their children. If you arrived without them, then this hotel is boring.

Minuses: 1. Tired rooms. The old hotel, despite periodic renovations, the age is still noticeable. Upon check-in, there was no soap, no shampoo, no detergents. 2. A large abundance of cats that climbed everywhere: lying on tables in the restaurant, on sofas, tables, things. I love cats, but there are too many of them, and besides, no one is watching them.
Pros: a variety of food and drinks. It was everything that could be imagined.

We stayed at the hotel in late April- early May. The territory is large and well maintained . There are many locations for photos, which is important for girls :-) A wonderful wide beach with a snack bar, you don't have to go for lunch)) I sincerely thank the animators who organized the darts game, it was a lot of fun!))
